Started with lifts not working to reception. Not sure how a disabled person or family with a pram could access the facility. Then we got to our room. The room was just old and unkept. For instance the toilet seat was broken, the bathroom door had clearly been in a flood and was falling g apart. The kitchen utensils were old , glass wear chipped. Our room was full of mozzies until we fumigated it and then kept all wi does shut. There are no fly screens. Finally the wifi didn’t work at all. When we called they said they would get back to me that something had blown up. They did not get back to me. So all in all great location and very poorly kept resort.

We came here to relax for a mini break. All we heard the whole time was screaming kids. Couldn’t even get into pool as mums and bubs took over. Why can’t they use the kids pool. Someone needs to police this so we kid free couples can have some down time. Kids screaming first thing in morning, we will definitely never ever come back. This ruined our whole stay. If you mention to reception they just don’t give a toss.

I always like to leave constructive feedback and so I’ll talk about what we liked most about Sebel Noosa first. Great staff, great service. We had an issue with the smell in our room due to heavy rain and they moved us to a different room without any hesitation and they were lovely about it. Location; the Sebel is right in the heart of bustling Hastings St and a simple walk across the road through the arcade to the beach. It’s so central to everything it’s easy to walk everywhere. The pool revamp is quite nice. The kitchen is well equipped should you wish to cook. Free parking was a big bonus, considering the price you’d want it to be included. Tip: Aromas cafe right out the front of Sebel has great service and food too, got our daily breakfast here. What needs improvement; for what you pay the rooms are very outdated and desperately need refurbishing. It felt like a two star hotel inside the rooms, old carpets and old wardrobes. It’s simply not worth the expensive price tag that comes with the accommodation. The beds; quite possibly the worst part, they were wobbly and so hard, like sleeping on wood. I’m going to need a few weeks of physio to recover for my back. The view; the river view was more so the road and a bit of river at the back. The noise; you can hear kids screening as they enjoy their late night swims in your room like they’re in the room with you. We were disappointed because we expected a more modern room for the price and a comfortable bed.

The renovations were annoying and having to go down the lift from the room on level 3, through the smelly carpark, breath in all the fumes and then go up by lift (or one flight of stairs) to exit the complex, sucked big time, but didn't ruin the holiday. And the renovations came pre-warned, it will be interesting to see the price difference next year YoY when I could go directly from the Hastings street entrance, through 3 gates to the a room in building 2, rather than via the car park. Also with a working kids pool, sauna and BBQ area, all under renovations, though clearly warned. Big complaints, the curtains only pulled 3/4 of the way so light streamed in from 5:30am. Building renovations started at 8am way to ruin a holiday. So bring sleeping eye mask! No breakfast option, so no advantage for Platinum Accor members or anyone wanting a buffet breakfast. The Beach House, wouldn't comp me as Accor Plus member let alone Platinum. Room came with a Washing Machine and drier – didn’t say this on booking and Accor official website. Two double beds - one was a pull out bed lounge bed, Sebel should have been clearer, I would have been clearer I was happy to pay for proper beds. No BBQ - seemed like most other apartments had a BBQ on their balcony, thought it was included but could have been wrong. Walls are paper thin so seemed always noisy as people coming home or workers started setting up, before they officially started work. Could clearly hear conversations outside the room. Left flip-flops, and thermometer were left behind and not found. Though that's on me, though would have gained a star if Sebel found it. Positives really nice gym. Pool is smaller than what the pictures look like, but adequate. Staff were friendly and attentive. Though having to give my room details each time for a beach towel, was annoying more than anything, but always gave me one without issue. Wifi was stable, though had to log in and renew wifi license at least twice a day. Great location on the middle of Hastings Street. I would probably consider other options for my next visit to Noosa.

Great hotel in the perfect location on Hastings st. Rooms are huge, serviced daily and are an apartment style which is great. The day beds by the pool are the perfect place to relax with a book. We will definitely be back.

This holiday was booked nearly a year in advance, to celebrate our Mum’s 70th birthday. At the time of this booking we were not made aware of the construction taking place, limiting the use of practically all communal facilities….. the main one being the pool. For a family holiday in Noosa, this was a must facility that was not available for use. In addition, with all the construction taking place, it was hazardous walking around the hotel, and constantly having to go through the busy carpark to access our room. Our booking was for 2 rooms, which were not allocated near each other, making access for kids from room to room difficult. On request, the hotel staff had kindly moved us to rooms near each other, however this was near the building work, with constant drilling. When we arrived at the hotel after a long drive, there no undercover parking available, as this was taken up by the tradies, so it was recommended that we pay for street parking and then move our car after the tradies leave for the day- not a relaxing experience to keep moving the car. In comp

The hotel is a building site The staff made promises which never came to fruition We were lead to believe the alteration would be nearly completed by late September The pool is not operational Bedrooms are noisy Our airconditioner in one of our rooms did not work There was nowhere in the hotel we could go to sit and relax The jackhammering started at 8:30 each day It was too noisy to have an afternoon nap We were promised free beach chairs and umbrellas , on the second day we had one umbrella and 3 chairs , the 2nd day there were none left - we were forced to pay 70 dollars for beach hire….

Maintenance work is necessary for most properties from time to time, but visitors planning a visit to the Sebel in the near future should be under no illusions about the degree of disruption caused by the current round of construction work (which to be fair is disclosed on the hotel's website). The hotel is a huge construction site at present, with hammering and drilling going on from 8:00 am, and the property divided up by endless temporary fences and barricades (it took me ten minutes to find the reception area and I had to ask two different guys in hard hats). The room was clean and neat but the fittings are showing their age, with carpets, furniture and appliances frayed or rusted at the edges. Perhaps these will be upgraded, too. Given the enormous disturbances caused by the maintenance work, a two-for-one drinks voucher wasn't really the degree of compensation we would have hoped for. All in all, a fairly joyless experience for us.

Extremely disappointing experience - there is currently major construction going on at the hotel, with jackhammering and angle grinding commencing before 8am. Understand that at times upgrades and maintenance need to happen, but still charging full price with no warning of the loud notice that will occur across your entire stay without forward notice is incredibly disingenuous. Would not recommend as a place to stay.

We booked this as a last minute getaway so got a reasonable rate. We had stayed here 7 years ago and liked it so decided to return. Staff very friendly, however there was a lot of construction around the pool area and surrounds so a bit of a mess really. Our one bedroom suite faced out to the (empty) pool area so not pretty. Suite appeared to be spacious and clean, however it was a bit tired in places, e.g. floor tiles chipped and cracked, inside the bathroom door was swollen from water damage from the bath, def needs to be replaced!! Old rust marks around the edge of the bath, with unsightly attempt at repair. Just redo the bathroom properly!! We did have a quiet room, and the tradies didn’t start up til after 8am which was appreciated. Not sure we will be back tho until the whole complex has been upgraded, at those prices! Great location tho.
