The great: Fairshore Noosa is in a fantastic location, you probably could not find a better location if you tried! The pool was nice and warm with a seperate splash area for the kids, and the hotel has direct beach access.

The not so great: Please beware - Even though the Fairshore advertises ground floor rooms seperately, you can still be put on the ground floor if you book a deluxe room. When booking we paid extra for a deluxe as we did not want to be on the ground floor for a number of reasons, and on check in they advised we were on the ground floor. Really disappointing. Also quite a bit of noise from people out drinking at night but not the hotels fault.

I’m going to preface this review by saying that the apartments are individually owned and decorated. No one apartment is the same. Some a newer and more updated than others

We spent a few nights at Fairshore over the Australia Day long weekend and we had the best time. That view! And the location! It doesn’t get any better. We normally stay at the Sofitel when staying in Hastings street but this was perfection. The kids loved being able to run onto the beach in their pjs when the sun came up and run back to our apartment. We stayed in apartment 24 on the second level. The apartment was nice and although not fancy it was exactly what we needed with 2 young kids. Our 2 bedroom apartment was a good size with comfortable beds and furnishings. With a full kitchen you have the ability to prepare all your meals in your room however we opted to eat out as we weren’t there that long. The little laundry area for longer stays was a good idea if you needed it.

The only downsides were having to clean up all dishes, rubbish, etc before you left and as other people mentioned the price is a little high at $900 a night however I’ve seen the prices much higher which is why I jumped at the chance to stay here and try it out. We’ll definitely be back

We are staying in Noosa for 10 days and could only get accomodation at the Fairview for 3 nights......thank goodness!! The location is fantastic, could not fault it but the rest is pretty dire. I understand that many of the issues I'm about to raise have been mentioned in previous reviews.

If you have very young children you'll fit in well. The pool is monopolised by parents, toddlers and babies all day long. If you enjoy lying by the pool listening to tantrums and endless rounds of Marco Polo then this is your place. I know that this was mentioned in previous reviews but as we were outside school holidays we thought it may be better. Sadly not.

I don't know if they used a vacuum cleaner in the bedroom before we arrived, it was pretty gross. The stairwells are disgusting and haven't been cleaned in months. It rained for much of our stay so we were in the unit alot and perhaps this made the negative things more noticeable.

There is no lift beyond level 1 so difficult if you have small children or mobility issues. When it's hot you really want a swim after unloading the car. This could be a major issue for some.

At check out you are asked to remove all rubbish but there is no recycling ...... come on guys, really!! We are all wanting to do our bit and this needs addressing.

The dishwasher didn't work and the washing machine does not fit into the space so it's turned sideways and difficult to operate or see the buttons. The fridge is rusting and needs replacing.

We really felt that for $850 AUD a night that the standard is pretty poor. We love Noosa and the beach but will choose to stay elsewhere next visit. We are now moving to anther property for the remainder of our current stay and hope the standard is much higher.

$1,000 + a night you must be kidding.

I am currently staying at unit 40 of Fairshore serviced apartments , on the beach and on Hasting St.

For $1,300 a night you get to carry your bags up 28 steps.
OK that was in the brochure.
Pool has no facilities so its a hike back up to the rooms if you need to go.
Gym forget it . Minimal equipment that I doubt anyone uses .Its there so they can say they have a gym.

What I am really upset about though is that on arrival just as the reception desk was closing , we hiked up stairs and found that the carpet in the master bedroom was wet.
Cleaners must have known about this.

We thought it was because the previous guest had stained the carpet and it had just been clean so we threw a towel over the damp spot.

Next day after we returned from being out and about the carpet was really really wet so we informed Accom Noosa the property managers.

They brought in .
1) Representative from the body corporate .
2) Cleaners to dry out the carpet
3) Plumbers to fix the leaking air conditioner from the second room that wasn't even on. Not sure how that works.

So people in and out of the room most of the day.
Not what you want is it.

Then they they didn't bother to remove the air blower ostensibly drying the carpet that is still wet and stinks . Probably moldy.

They didn't even bother to service our room. What are we paying all this money for ? One star service . Probably less.

Oh and by the way if you want more than the allocated 2 towels per person per head that's an extra $2 a towel.
That policy might be Ok for a $50 a night dive but at $1,000 + a night . You must be kidding.
I am waiting to see if they charge for the towels I used to soak up the sodding mess.

Oh they have offered a $30 discount which is what they pay their cleaners to service their wet, stinky moldy rooms.
Generous to say the least.

$1300 a night.
Save your money .

Apartment 27's view was amazing looking out over the ocean however, apartment's decor, furnishings and kitchen fit out were underwhelming given the $800plus a night. Second bedroom was extremely small (no where to put anything) with room for only one tiny night stand (piece of painted timber trunk) and both bedrooms didn't have sufficient drawers for clothing. Lighting was cold white with no ambience. Poor quality wine glasses which would be at home in any pub. For 4 adults we had three lousy lipton tea bags and 4 sachets of instant coffee on arrival. Then to top it all off, after we had been assured there would be no construction work over the weekend period PRIOR to booking, we were advised AFTER checkin, some 40 minutes or so, that there would now be construction Saturday morning commencing at 8am. We requested compensation and were advised that given it had been approved by the body corporate it was legal for construction work to be undertaken regardless of whether we had been advised or not. We received 20% discount on the first night only. What a thoughtful body corporate. All in all, a lousy weekend in a lousy apartment with a great view. Would not return.

You stay here if you can afford it and if location is your priority. Smack bang in the middle of Hastings street. Middle of the main beach. Park the car and stroll everywhere; simple. Open the balcony doors see, hear and smell the surf 30m in front of you. Direct access to the beach and 100m from the flagged area. Lovely pool and spa.
The accommodation is small and comfortable but not luxurious. Our 2 bedroom apartment has one shared bathroom; no en suite. Sparsely decorated. Very plain bedrooms. Has Foxtel and free wifi. Good kitchen. Bench seating at breakfast bar. No dining table.
Stairs to all apartments. I wouldn't take a 'ground' floor apartment (groundfloor is the carpark level. GF apartments start with #1) as they open to pool area; so noisier and no privacy. And especially an end apartment on the ground floor - walkway outside your window.
Overall a nice place to stay but there are other options.

Response from Accom Noosa, Marketing at Fairshore Noosa
Responded 23 July 2020
Hi svc99, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on our Fairshore Noosa Beachfront Apartments. We are pleased to hear that overall, you enjoyed your time with us in Noosa - particularly the location. While the most of our apartments are two bedroom, one bathroom - we could recommend our Deluxe Apartments providing a 50% chance of receiving a second bathroom (you are welcome to request this at the time of booking, although we are unable to guarantee). Our ground floor apartments are certainly more suited toward families, offering convenient access to and from the pool and beach (we know it gets tough with kids taking the stairs!). We hope to welcome you back to Noosa in the future. Regards, Abbey - Marketing Coordinator, Accom Noosa.

We had a beautiful week at Fairshore apartment 22 in December 2023. Perfect location right on Hastings St, amazing view from the balcony for sunset drinks and dinner. The pool had some teenagers and families with toddlers (including our own) but no one very noisy and all respectful of other guests. Apartment 22 interiors have a fresh modern, coastal vibe. Master bed is extremely comfortable. We will be back!

Fairshore staff have been so flexible with our family. We booked 3 rooms and they were all ground floor which was great for the kids pool snd beach . When we were taken Ill and needed to extend our stay they accommodated this and made it easy for us to move. Kelsey in particular was amazing. We had booked and planned this trip 3 years earlier but due to circumstances had to keep deferring, Fairshore helped us manage this and we still had school holidays. Basically we will be back the units are really clean and in great location but the staff are exceptional.

Amazing view - but room is so over rated. This is so old and outdated and falsely advertised by Niche Luxury Accomodation. It was dirty, could not move in the bathroom and the bedding would have been 10 years old. We paid for 5 nights and left after 1 - do not book this room if you are after nice accommodation.

Very Nice Relaxing view, Good View of beach, lovely pool and spa. Bit Sanddy but very good.
Very clean and nice place with some good paintings on the wall and the style and spirit that this place has when you enter it.

So this is why it's a four out of five.

Hi Michael, Thank you for your question! The difference between our Superior and Beachfront apartments is the renovation standard. Our Beachfront apartments have not been as recently renovated. The Superior Apartments are considered to be at a higher renovation standard compared to our Beachfront apartments, although we do have another standard above our Superior, the Deluxe Apartments, which have been renovated in the last year or two. All of our apartments at the Fairshore overlook Noosa Main Beach. Please do be in contact if there is anything further that we can assist with! Kind Regards, Abbey Digital Marketing Coordinator

Does anybody know if the complex has a lift to the 2nd and 3rd floors
Answer from abbeyaccomnoosa

Hi Gspicoli67, Thank you for your question! Unfortunately the lift onsite is only accessible from the Car Park & Hastings St level, one floor up to the mezzanine area. There is then stair access only to Level Two and Three. If you are wishing to book an apartment with minimal stairs, I would recommend our Direct Beach Access apartments which requires only a few steps to access. If there is anything further that we can assist with, please do be in contact. Kind Regards, Abbey Digital Marketing Coordinator Accom Noosa
