My husband and I stayed in Apartment 116 for a week in February 2020. It was comfortable, modern and clean. The living room looks out over the pool, and the location on Hastings St is very convenient.
We have previously stayed in this property in Apartment 132, which we actually preferred (due to a better room layout and delightful tropical decor). But overall each stay was wonderful and we would recommend this property.

Fabulous apartment, very spacious, everything there, and on the main street. Very very hot weather (early Feb) but good aircon in rooms
Only problem were cockroaches - 2 a day! Made reception aware of issue, no urgency in sorting it out. Asked for repellent which I was given and treated the area myself.

We were here for 5 days with 3 kids in a 2 bedroom apartment that was booked through Accom Noosa. The location in Hastings St is perfect and we trekked back and forth from the beach, surf club, shops and national park walks every day. Highly recommended as the room was very comfortable and well appointed.

Recently stayed in unit 114 , terrible smell of mould in the unit . Nothing to be seen , reasonable clean . Great location but worried about breathing mould spores . Tried to get real estate to move Us to another unit but none available . Reported it to real estate and reception

This review ONLY RELATS TO UNIT 114. Have stayed at other units at Laguna in past years and found them to be great for a holiday. Unfortunately our choice of unit 114 was not a good one in retrospect - apart from sewer smell (fixed by calling a plumber out on a Fri evening!) and lights not working, there was evidence of mould on the curtains, picture frames - and t go virtually NO SUN in the living quarters. There was a 'DampRid' container under the TV cabinet but it had passed it 'use by' date - although it was close to all the great facilities of Hastings St, had great carparking, and a lift at the door, I would advise travellers to think twice about using this unit if they are after a warm and sunny location.

We made a booking for #114 managed by Dowling & Neylan.
Upon arriving in Noosa, we searched for "Laguna on Hastings" indicated on the paperwork to be #32 Hastings Street. Since this # for Laguna did not exist, and after driving back and forth on Hastings, we stumbled upon Dowling & Neylan. The receptionist acknowledged that they were responsible for #114 Laguna, handed us the keys, and informed us to drive back down Hastings, take the roundabout, and look for the entry after the coffee shop! We did this, and there was no entry. So, back to Dowling & Neylan. After allot of apology, we were informed that we had to enter the property from the back street. We found this entry, and there were two parking areas, one for public parking and another for secured parking. Once again, this was not explained. After a few more minutes, we entered the secured area, and we had a choice of six building numbers and names, but NO LAGUNA! So, after walking around a few more minutes, we came across an attendee whom informed us that #114 was located in Building 1 called "Alexandria". So, we had finally arrived.
As it came about, the receptionist had never seen nor visited the property, and had no clue his to direct renters to the property. Frankly, this is unacceptable.
The apartment is sparse, dated, and with no frills, just the very bare essentials. There is no effort to update or to modernize. and, to have a bath located in the bedroom is a first, with carpeting running against the bathtub. Bedding is old and hard. No blackouts in the room with light entering first thing in the morning, bothersome to us.
For $250 per night is overpriced given what you get. We would not stay here again, simply not up to an acceptable standard.

Had organised a birthday present for my wife - 3 days in Noosa. She had not been there since she was a girl. We found Laguna on Hastings and had everything we needed. Large 1 bedroom apartment - approx. 100sqm including the balcony. The property is part of the Sebel at Noosa.

We came in from our airport transfer at around 12:30pm and went to check in at Accom Noosa. They had said our room was ready and gave us instructions to get in. We were on the 3rd floor in building 6. We did a bit of a walk around found lunch - plenty of restaurants everywhere. When we got back Accom Noosa had left a guest gift package - chees, bickies, nougat, chocolates and a bottle of wine - all from the provedore in Hastings St.

The room was good - got used to the sliding bathroom doors ( 2 of them) and enjoyed the balcony in the afternoon getting last of the sun. There was a spa bath and a shower. The kitchen was equipped for the self catering person.

All and all a pleasant stay and would recommend others to this property

Firstly I want to point out that we have stayed here before, booked directly with the property and the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment we had was fantastic. Any problem was fixed instantly. Staff were exceptional and customer focused too. If you go to this property, book direct and not with the real estate agent. I gave it 3 stars because the resort is great, the staff are very nice and the property is in a great location and with excellent facilities.
This time, as we were staying over the holiday period, an expensive time, we booked an owners apartment within the resort through the real estate Dowling & Neylon in Noosa so we could save some money. Never again. They are happy to take your business but if there are any issues, they don't really want to know. They will just pass the buck or really couldn't care less.
This was booked 10 months in advance and we were getting an African themed apartment which sounded exciting. So, any problems, issues etc had to be raised with the real estate. Once we collected our keys, we went to our apartment, another 2 bedroom 2 bathroom which was located on the top floor. A large and spacious apartment with a huge balcony but every surface crammed with statues among other things and rugs/mats covering all the floor surfaces. Upon opening the door, an animal like smell hit us. Even though it's Africa themed, the smell was not part of the deal. Of course there are no pets allowed so upon looking around, I figured it must be those African themed rugs/mats all over the floors which looked filthy. They were vacuumed but absolutely filthy. These rugs were everywhere. Large & small, between the beds, in the little hallway, in front of the shower and tub and disgustingly in front of the toilets. Ugh. I had to collect them and stack them out of the way for fear of catching something. Next the pillows. Everywhere. There were at least 8 on our bed, 3 on each of the kids beds and 6 or 8 on the little 2 seater sofa in the lounge room. Why do you need so many? Again they seemed dirty and I had to move them to a corner of each room so they were out of the way. There were only 10 hangers in total in the 2 bedrooms. A bit of a problem if you are staying for more than a week as we were. There was a grey mouldy ring in each of the basins of the bathrooms which I used an earbud to clean. The cover on our bed along with 2 of the pillows was that shaggy carpet type and it had a grey tinge to it. I had to remove this from our bed. When I booked the apartment, I assumed there was wifi (my husband was working while we were away) as there was last time we were there. Wrong! Again I assumed there would be a small safe in the wardrobe for our valuables as there was last time we were there. Wrong again. Perhaps I overlooked these but upon calling the real estate to enquire I was simply told they weren't part of the deal and not included in my contract. End of story. Nice!! I asked the reception at the resort who were happy to provide it for $70 for 2 weeks. As for the safe, it was locked and they wouldn't open it for us - later on telling us that maybe the owner had their valuables in there. When I went to make afternoon tea that day, there were 2 dirty bowls - one with cheese in it and the other liquid, dirty glasses and 2 plates with what looked like remnants of sauce. I ended up putting all the dishes and glasses through the tiny dishwasher again. I did 3 loads of dishwashing including all the cutlery and utensils that evening as I wasn't game enough to use any of it. The fridge really should be wiped out with something that smells nice so that it doesn't stink when you open it and the freezer needs to be thawed and cleaned as it is full of ice. That night, when I went to take my kids bed covers off, my daughter's bed cover had a large blood stain on the underside. It was revolting!! In the morning, I headed straight to the real estate to advise that none of this was good enough!! Wifi and a safe may not have been part of my contract but either were dirty dishes, glasses, mats and a bloodstained bed cover!!! The lady at the desk asked me to write it in my survey notes on departure. Very unhelpful. I was not happy. I told her I wanted that bed cover removed and she simply called their housekeepers who advised it would be another 5 days till they got there. I was furious but the real estate rep couldn't care less. When housekeeping did arrive 5 days later, my husband happened to be there and she advised him she had been cleaning this apartment for 9 years - that is since the owners had it. She also advised that the bedcovers were the same for the last 9 years!! As for the pool view, yes but it is of the little pool the little ones use, not the main pool which is just as well because it could get very noisy and you also had a view of the spa.
So, go to Laguna on Hastings, book it directly and don't stay in apartment 531.

This is our second stay at Laguna. We booked a studio with river views and were lucky enough to be upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment which we will definitely book next time. The 1 bedroom apartment was very spacious with balcony overlooking the river and second balcony overlooking the pool so we could choose either depending on weather and time of day. This hotel is conveniently located at the end of Hastings Street near shops and cafes and has the added advantage of the river view balconies overlooking the river and the boardwalk and not the noisy road. Also parking and laundry facilities are a definite plus. Highly recommended.

Laguna on Hastings is actually part of the Sebel complex - confused??? OK, the complex consists of privately owned apartments many of which are managed by Sebel. Quite a few are managed and serviced by various real estate agents with varing degrees of service, so you need to choose an agent carefully. So what's the difference? If you book a one bederoom apartment through Sebel you receive the usual hotel service which is fine for a couple of nights stay and you will pay around $220 per night on special in the low season. For longer stays it is worth booking through one of the agents. We have booked for July 2013 and negotiated the price down to $168 per night for 28 nights. (one bedroom)
You also need to check the room, as because they are privately owned the decor varies and some are quite odd - bath in bedroom for example. Decor is a little dated but in the 10 years we have stayed here there has been no problem with cleanliness and minor problems have been fixed the same day. We use Accom Noosa who are just across the road from the complex.
One final point, for accommodation in the middle of Hastings Street at $168 per night is outstanding value.
