I absolutely loved this hostel during my East Coast travel. Spacious rooms, well working air con, relaxed people and very helpful and friendly staff.
Very clean rooms and bathroom facilities, breakfast is basic (bread and cornflakes, coffee/tea), free shuttles to the beach and the city centre or you can take a walk (15-20min) to get to town.
Free parking!

The hostel is very clean, staff are friendly + the hostel is very cosy. They also offer a free breakfast which is good.

A lady named Kristy had also arranged for our room to have flowers and balloons in for my birthday which was so nice of her.

The reason for 4* is that we had to leave early the next day, as many backpackers/people on business do. There was no one on reception until 8.30am, so we left the key in the key box and thought there wouldn't be an issue getting our $20 cash deposit put back into our account (since I'm sure, many people may have to leave before 8.30 to catch flights etc).

We were called twice on our road trip in the morning to say we had left and what about our deposit? The first man we spoke to said it wouldn't be an issue refunding our deposit and to leave it with him.

The second lady we spoke to advised that there would be a $5 'administration fee'... for what? She also informed us that we had been advised of this when paying the deposit? I'm sorry, but nobody told us it would cost us $5 to refund into our account.

It's only $5, but it's the point of it... it left us feeling a little disappointed.

Hey Sexifish! Yes the flowers and balloons did look great in the room, we're happy they hit the mark! While the guest is usually always right, just maybe in the excitement of the moment you may have missed some of the info we talk about at check in which covers early checkouts which we do lots of and the procedures we use. Everything in this World has a cost and like the running around to order and pick up the flowers and balloons for your room, we didn't charge for the staff members hour to do this....just doesn't seem in the spirit of the joy it was going to bring. Likewise I understand your disappointment at the $5 Admin fee, but there are costs of doing business and sometimes like you have we all feel we take a hit. One of the ways of the world! But please if and when you're back up in beautiful Noosa book in for a night or two and I'll give you a discount that will more than make up for the $5 charge. I don't want this to sound negative reply, we enjoy organising special requests for our guests and making their stay as enjoyable and memorable for all the right reasons, and it seems apart from the 5 bucks all was very good! Hope to cya back here with us one day! Waz

I loved it at Flashpackers. They are amazing place, high standard, GOOD AND CLEAN KITCHEN, well equipped open till late. Clean rooms with AC, very nice bathrooms, not over crowded.
However the most precious is the crew. From backpacker workers to owners themselfs.
I had to stay in Noosa for a week for a casual job. I really wanted the Flashpackers, though they did not have full availability for that period. I have made several bookings and had to switch rooms for first 3 days. I was booking my nights 2 at a time when Jo, the owner herself called me that they had a cancellation and she can rearrange my reservations so I didn't have to move anymore. That was absolutely amazing of her, especially that I 'd chatted with her only for couple minutes, she noticed it herself and helped me a lot!
Next great thing they arrange is the shuttle bus, 12 times a day and even when I was the only person at 7:50am, they'd drop me off at the main beach! <3
To finish the review even better I loved the little event they organise almost every day of the week (movie-popcorn night, wine and cheese night, sausage sizzle etc).
I will definately come back!

Stayed here for 1 night before heading o rainbow beach. They booked me in last minute which was great. You pay $20 or passport for a key deposit. Covid sign in was ok, although they temperature checked some but not others. I was not temperature checked but I didn't know if that was because I was within qld and had come from QLD.

I was surprised they put someone who had only been in Victoria 3 weeka before in my room with me...slightly freaked out!

Cute pool area with beanbags. Breakfast was standard hostel stuff bread and condiments for toast and cereal. Slightly far from Noosa main beach but close to sunshine beach. I paid to get the public bus from Noosa main beach as they had a shuttle bus advertised, but said no one else has requested so I could get the public bus or uber instead, slightly disappointing but I understand. The bus driver was not pleased I didn't have a go card but there isn't anywhere close to get one near the hostel. Coles is a 20 minute walk away and a weird walk through some forest land or along a highway which is not too ideal.

The mattresses were the comfiest I have ever experienced in a hostel and the girls rooms were cute with pink bedding and quilts as it was winter.

The room was meant to have 6 in but they only did 4 to social distance.

All in all was worth the $30 I paid for the night but didn't like the location.

Stayed in a garden view private room, everything was nice, very helpful staff when we had troubles with the Bluetooth locks ( it was us, turning off and on the Bluetooth fix it).
Very clean and quiet.
It is fairly close to the Sunrise Beach, where we did the first ocean dip for this season.
There is a basic breakfast included but we preferred the Surf Club for breakfast with a view.
Noosa National Park is also relatively close (bus available).
We will back...

Thanks Cristian, and so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. It's been a difficult time through Covid trying to get our domestic market to understand that some 'hostels' do provide all the comforts you'd expect in a 'Hotel style' room, with lots of other benefits. Affordable luxury is our tag for international travellers on a budget, but works just as well for us 'Aussies"! Thanks again for giving us a try and loving your stay! Look forward to having you back with us and enjoying everything Noosa has to offer. I too love Sunshine surfy for breakfast, lunch, dinner and cold beers! Waz

I loved my recent stay over New Year at Flashpackers. The private room was perfect: very clean throughout; great air-con; excellent WiFi and the best showers on the east coast! Free breakfast is a great touch and there’s lots of activities for those who want to be involved. We hired bikes for the day from Flashpackers too which were great. The hostel is a bit of a walk from the main town which didn’t bother me on this trip but if I was travelling alone I’d maybe re-think as the walk home at night is very dark. There is a shuttle service though if you can fit your plan around that. I would highly recommend this hostel - thanks for a great stay!

Used as a base before and after my Fraser Island trip. I experienced both a dorm and private room.
The free shuttle bus service was very handy to reach the Greyhound bus.
The location is quite away from both beaches and shops in Noosa and Sunshine Beach, but it is quiet.
Dorm room was good and the bed comfortable, although a sink in the room would’ve been good as you couldn’t wash your hands if someone was in the shower. The showers are pretty decent for a hostel.
Lockers are provided in the room and were good.
Washing facilities were also good but the drying area is virtually always in the shade.
The kitchen and hangout areas were a nice place to relax.
The private room was very basic but it was a decent price. I enjoyed my stay here.

Thanks for the review, Lauren. We are further away from Noosa Main beach, but our shuttle goes 5 times per day for drop offs and pickups. Sunshine beach is only a 10-minute walk away from the hostel as well :) You make an awesome point about the bathroom sinks, we will take this feedback on board. :)

Small but welcoming hostel with a homely feel. Fridges and stocked kitchen next to reception and a free breakfast consisting of toast and cereals, social area with a television and playstation and washing machines and dryers.

The rooms have the perfect shower set up which is spacious and plenty of places to actually put your stuff down and hang it from. Air con in the rooms and it was great to have a pillow that felt like a pillow and not a sheet.

Can’t recommend this hostel enough as they have a pool and also arrange lots of free stuff throughout the week. For example I was here 2 nights and the first night was a free bbq (sausages) and my second night was nachos and sangria.

The staff at Flashpackers were friendly and helpful. They provided excellent service and were able to make many activity suggestions during my stay. Conveniently located approx. 15 minutes (walking) from Sunshine Beach there is a bus-stop directly across the road to get to other parts of Noosa without walking. The accommodation provided free breakfast, free sausage sizzle on Friday night, and comfortable common areas to relax in (lounge and pool area).
