Small but welcoming hostel with a homely feel. Fridges and stocked kitchen next to reception and a free breakfast consisting of toast and cereals, social area with a television and playstation and washing machines and dryers.
The rooms have the perfect shower set up which is spacious and plenty of places to actually put your stuff down and hang it from. Air con in the rooms and it was great to have a pillow that felt like a pillow and not a sheet.
Can’t recommend this hostel enough as they have a pool and also arrange lots of free stuff throughout the week. For example I was here 2 nights and the first night was a free bbq (sausages) and my second night was nachos and sangria.

Used as a base before and after my Fraser Island trip. I experienced both a dorm and private room. The free shuttle bus service was very handy to reach the Greyhound bus. The location is quite away from both beaches and shops in Noosa and Sunshine Beach, but it is quiet. Dorm room was good and the bed comfortable, although a sink in the room would’ve been good as you couldn’t wash your hands if someone was in the shower. The showers are pretty decent for a hostel. Lockers are provided in the room and were good. Washing facilities were also good but the drying area is virtually always in the shade. The kitchen and hangout areas were a nice place to relax. The private room was very basic but it was a decent price. I enjoyed my stay here.

Thanks for the review, Lauren. We are further away from Noosa Main beach, but our shuttle goes 5 times per day for drop offs and pickups. Sunshine beach is only a 10-minute walk away from the hostel as well :) You make an awesome point about the bathroom sinks, we will take this feedback on board. :)

Amazing hostel! We slept in a private bedroom with a private ensuite and it really felt like hotel. Nice vibe, very clean and the staff were great. It felt like the staff genuinely cared about the visitors having a good time! Lots of optional activities and free food. Only negative thing was the AC automatically turning off between 10am-2pm. The location was a bit off from the main beach and the plaza, but the crew offered a courtesy bus multiple times daily - very appreciated! Great artwork around the hostel was a big plus!

Flashpackers is a great location for solo travelling- they have an event on each evening which makes it easier to meet people! The kitchen is spacious and tidy and also has a nice lounge area with a TV. The room was clean and had lots of storage space and lockers- very private as you have curtains. Only thing to mention is the bathroom/ shower in the room smelt a bit like sewage.

Me and my partner have just stayed 3 nights at this hostel and honestly wish we could stay longer. Great facilities, large communal areas so don’t feel like you’re on top of anyone while cooking. The kitchen also had a lot of utensils and lots of free ingredients which was really useful. The rooms and facilities were also really clean and there was a themed night every night which was a great way to meet people. Overall great stay, could not fault the hostel. Will definitely be back!

Stayed in a garden view private room, everything was nice, very helpful staff when we had troubles with the Bluetooth locks ( it was us, turning off and on the Bluetooth fix it). Very clean and quiet. It is fairly close to the Sunrise Beach, where we did the first ocean dip for this season. There is a basic breakfast included but we preferred the Surf Club for breakfast with a view. Noosa National Park is also relatively close (bus available). We will back...

It's been a difficult time through Covid trying to get our domestic market to understand that some 'hostels' do provide all the comforts you'd expect in a 'Hotel style' room, with lots of other benefits. We got a private room with an en-suite which was lovely. The staff put on great evenings and the dog is adorable! Beds are really comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The free shuttle bus into town in the evening is really handy and the buses are free over the weekend!

Lovely staff, amazing facilities including free shuttle, free cooking supplies, free surfboard hire, WiFi, brekkie included and not to mention a clean pool and clean comfy bed with A/C'd rooms! Makes a big difference when staying in very self sufficient hostels to not have to worry about the little things! 💙

Wow what an awesome place! Very clean, well maintained, lots of space, free breakfast til 9am, free shuttle bus, pool, I shared in a female room of 6, loved that there was curtains around the bunks for privacy. This was one of the friendliest places I’ve stayed, the tourists I met were happy and friendly. Would definitely come back again!!!

The hostel is very clean, staff are friendly + the hostel is very cosy. They also offer a free breakfast which is good.
A lady named Kristy had also arranged for our room to have flowers and balloons in for my birthday which was so nice of her.
The reason for 4* is that we had to leave early the next day, as many backpackers/people on business do. There was no one on reception until 8.30am, so we left the key in the key box and thought there wouldn't be an issue getting our $20 cash deposit put back into our account (since I'm sure, many people may have to leave before 8.30 to catch flights etc).
We were called twice on our road trip in the morning to say we had left and what about our deposit? The first man we spoke to said it wouldn't be an issue refunding our deposit and to leave it with him.
The second lady we spoke to advised that there would be a $5 'administration fee'... for what? She also informed us that we had been advised of this when paying the deposit? I'm sorry, but nobody told us it would cost us $5 to refund into our account.
It's only $5, but it's the point of it... it left us feeling a little disappointed.

Hey Sexifish! Yes the flowers and balloons did look great in the room, we're happy they hit the mark! While the guest is usually always right, just maybe in the excitement of the moment you may have missed some of the info we talk about at check in which covers early checkouts which we do lots of and the procedures we use. Everything in this World has a cost and like the running around to order and pick up the flowers and balloons for your room, we didn't charge for the staff members hour to do this....just doesn't seem in the spirit of the joy it was going to bring. Likewise I understand your disappointment at the $5 Admin fee, but there are costs of doing business and sometimes like you have we all feel we take a hit. One of the ways of the world! But please if and when you're back up in beautiful Noosa book in for a night or two and I'll give you a discount that will more than make up for the $5 charge. I don't want this to sound negative reply, we enjoy organising special requests for our guests and making their stay as enjoyable and memorable for all the right reasons, and it seems apart from the 5 bucks all was very good!
