Detailed Reviews
I've stayed in my share of resorts but RACV is by far the best.
We stayed in a two bedroom apartment that had stairs to the roof which the kids loved. The apartment was immaculate and modern. There were smart tv's in both bedrooms and the lounge. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped including kids cutlery and plates. My favourite thing in the kitchen was the coffee pod machine and milk frother and large amount of varying coffee pods and teas. Towels and pool towels were supplied and the room had a washing machine and dryer.
The resort itself was fantastic. The pools are well set out with a separate sand entrance pool, spa and kids pool. The kids pool was a hit with two water slides and a water play area. The bar is right there if you want to enjoy a drink while the kids play.
The small shop at the lobby is very reasonable. I purchased a few things and was surprised to see that the prices weren't massively inflated like some resorts do. The buffet breakfast was reasonably priced with kids eating free with a paying adult. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming.
I really recommend this resort. My family and I were unlucky to only spend the one night but are already planning another holiday here.

Dear cass_around, Thank you so much for this fabulous review. We're delighted to hear you and your family had such an enjoyable stay at our resort and were able to enjoy so many of our great facilities during your short stay. Our resort pools and water slides are a huge hit with the small guests! And our ample lounges means parents can relax and enjoy being poolside too. Thank you for the kind mention of our staff members. Our team certainly enjoy what they do and work hard to ensure your stay is an enjoyable one. Thank you again for such a great review and we look forward to seeing you again one day soon for perhaps a longer stay! Kind regards, RACV Noosa Resort

We stayed 3 nights in a one bedroom apartment. The apartment felt fresh, with new carpets and well appointed bathroom and large bedroom with comfortable king size bed. Nice outlook over the bush, providing for a very secluded and tranquil space. The kitchen facilities are inadequate if you were planning on dining in, small kitchen with only a microwave and no dining table, there was a desk facing a wall with one chair, can’t understand why a small dining table is not included in the living area. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast which is now served to you, great array of fresh fruits and cereals and good selection of hot meals. Although at times there is a bit of a queue as you have to wait to be served. At busy times a few more staff serving would be helpful. This is a very popular resort for families, so if you are looking to be lazing around the pool, without lots of children, probably not the resort for you. The location of the resort means you need a car to go anywhere, there is an hourly courtesy bus to take you down to Noosa.

Dear GClife, thanks for your review and I was pleased you had a relaxing stay. During our 'COVID' closure, we invested heavily in providing soft renovations such as new carpets and blinds to many of our rooms as well as expanding our dining facilities, gym, and built a dedicated games rooms. Should you return, I suggest you book either a one or two-bedroom apartment instead of a one-bedroom Suite. These come equipped with all the Kitchen facilities you will need to make your stay more enjoyable should you wish to self-cater. The Suite is a more 'hotel style' with a microwave and small fridge. Thanks again and I wish you well for the remainder of 2020. Regards Darren McClenaghan Resort Manager RACV Noosa Resort

Excellent resort with absolutely everything well thought out. The service was amazing. The rooms were great and very clean. Location is a little far from beach but the shuttle bus runs every 30 mins. The only con I have is that we have to ring every time we needed towels which was daily. Housekeeping only comes through every 7 days and we were there for 5 only. If you need housekeeping you have to pay $60 for them to come and clean up for you. Will definitely be back and will be back for a longer period of time. Thank you RACV 👍🏻

Dear Djova22, Thank you for such a fantastic review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay and your accommodation and great that you found our complimentary shuttle service helpful in getting down to Hastings st. Thank you for sharing your experience about your housekeeping service. If your apartment doesn't apply for a daily service we are always happy to provide extra towels or amenities on request but we do appreciate your understanding that we need to charge for a full service. Our Front Office team are always happy to assist with any additional housekeeping requirements. Thank you again for your feedback and we can't wait to welcome you back again soon - for a longer stay! +1
We stayed in the Precinct villa with rooftop spa and this was amazing. I loved the design and interiors of the villa with the floating stairs and media room, and outside entertaining area with folding aluminum doors with plantation type shutters.
The heated pool with children's water slides and fountains were also fun. There is kid's club for 4 to 14 year olds on certain nights ($25) and a games room with pin ball machines and Arcade games.
The breakfast is lovely with hot food, fresh fruit and good coffee. There are also live musicians performing most evenings too.
Staff are really helpful and the free hourly shuttle bus to Hastings street was excellent as parking on Hastings street on a long weekend is difficult to find.
My previous stay here was 9 years ago, and I definitely will ensure I return more earlier next time!

Rooms are a great size with all the amenities of home, including a dishwasher, washer/dryer and Nespresso coffee machine. TV in lounge area and bedroom. Bed was comfy with crisp white sheets. Very clean and nice large shower area. The only complaint (& I am knit picking) was the couch/sofa was too shallow, so we couldn’t relax back into sofa to watch a movie. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating & would definitely stay again. The breakfast was fantastic & loved the late breakfast option open til 11am.

We just returned from 5 nights at the RACV Noosa Resort and had the best holiday we've ever had with our kids. Staff were super friendly, the 2 brm apartment was huge and spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfy, and I really appreciated having a kitchen fully equipped with crockery and cooking equipment so you can really prepare a proper meal in your villa if you choose. We really loved the buffet breakfast that was included in our stay for a very reasonable price, then spent most of the day by the pool which is by far the best hotel pool we've ever seen. My daughter LOVED the waterslide and my 4yo enjoyed the toddler area. We will definitely be returning again and again for many years to come.

Where to start, this is a family friendly resort, which made travelling with the kids more enjoyable. They loved the resort as much as we did, the staff were great, very accommodating, polite and helpful. In fact I felt they went above and beyond at times. In the pool the supervisor was interacting with people making sure kids were being supervised, in a way that felt safe for all. The breakfast was fantastic, ohh how long it's been since a buffet breakfast was available. The games room was an absolute hit with the kids (and adults), much fun had there. I utilised the spa facility, wow.. so relaxing. The pools were wonderful, kids pools and slides were a standout, but there was something for everyone really. The room was beautiful, relaxing and light filled, the sound of nature so soothing. Some slight issues with tv and oven were attended to promptly. Servicing of the apartment happened half way through our stay which I found perfect as it was just when things needed refreshing and replenishing, but not so frequent and people were in everyday moving things. We are keen to plan another trip back to paradise.

As a family of six looking for a quick family getaway, the RACV Noosa Resort provided everything we needed: spacious accommodation, activities and amenities for all ages, easy access to town and surrounds via the shuttle bus and a variety of eating options.
We stayed in one of the 3 bedroom apartments, which had so much space: 3 bedrooms, 3 ensuites, 2 living areas and a kitchen/dining area, as well as outdoor space to eat, plus it was modern without being over the top.
There was so much to do in the resort, you would not need to leave and our two youngest were happy to do just that and spend the entire holiday by the pool. But if you do, there were so many ways you could: hire bikes, hire a car, walk or take the shuttle. We hired a car for a trip to Eumundi which was economical and convenient. The farmer's market is also just a walk away to get some great organic, environmentally friendly and creative goods.
Staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in until the day we left and there were great food options too. We ate breakfast at the buffet, lunch by the pool and tried the woodfired pizzas as well as the a la carte menu.
Such an easy break for a quick school holiday trip. We'd highly recommend and come again.

This hotel can not function as an AFL quarantine facility and luxury hotel. As much as the management tells you otherwise, they are failing. Failing big time!
As I sipped my morning coffee and listened to the peaceful drilling of windows being installed, I watched as parents and children are escorted from the pool and playground. Why do you ask? Because the "team" has exclusive use of these areas until 10am. How do you find this out? Told at booking? No! Told at at check in? No! Told by a sign? No! You get chased by a lady with a walkie-talkie.
Feel like breakfast at the restaurant? Well, the closest you'll get is a peek through the windows to the "team" being fed at the restaurant you were promised at booking while you seat in the pool cafe with a temporary set up.
As the bible says, no one can serve two masters.
This hotel must either choose to provide all of the advertised services to its guest, or become an exclusive facility for the AFL.
The staff are apologetic, bordering embarrassed, by their instructions from the management. Such a shame that such a beautiful facility is being destroyed by poor management.

Responded 23 Aug 2020
Dear J6198YJdavidt, I am disappointed your stay did not meet your expectations. RACV Noosa Resort is not and will not operate as a quarantine facility. We have been hosting an AFL team, the St Kilda Saints, including some of their families for over 6 weeks. They are a very professional and respectful group focussed on success. They have been allocated at the rear of the resort and have minimal impact on guests. Our heated pool opening hours are from 10 am to 10 pm Monday to Friday and 7 am to 10 pm on weekends. I appreciate these operating hours did not meet your needs, but they are some of the more generous I have seen around town and cater to the needs of the majority of our guests. Unfortunately, with the borders closed, the small amount of leisure guests currently in-house does not support opening our al la carte restaurant. However, we are excited to have just completed a major renovation of our dining and terrace facilities and continue to offer our all-day dining menu and breakfast in our brand new facilities. I look forward to visitor numbers increasing again soon so we can open all of our dining outlets. The great news is that a quieter resort is leading to an increase in our already high post-stay satisfaction results since reopening. I encourage anyone that is able to travel right now to visit us for a relaxing break, you nearly feel like you have the resort all to yourself! There is no doubt that this COVID world has and will continue to present operational challenges for us that we have not experienced before. Our focus is to manage this ‘new normal’ whilst meeting all government requirements with our already high health and hygiene standards while making sure our guests continue to have a great stay with us. Since reopening this has been going well but my apologies this was not your experience. I wish you all the very best in the future. Regards Darren McClenaghan Resort Manager RACV Noosa Resort

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights, after flying into Brisbane and whilst making our way north to Hervey Bay for our flight to Lady Elliot Island. We had a suite which was excellent and had all the home comforts and a large well furnished patio area. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and the food and beverages were of a good quality at reasonable prices.
I cannot remember the name of the tall barman(although I did mention him by name in my feedback form) but he was exceptionally friendly, taking a genuine interest in our travel plans.
Our only regret is we only had two nights to enjoy the facilities and a further day/night would have been preferable.
During our last morning we experienced a tropical rainfall which brought much needed rainfall to the area which was great to see.
The breakfast choice at this property is exceptional and one of the best we experienced on our Australian adventures.
Highly recommended.

Hi there, the one bedroom Suites and apartments are serviced daily. The Enclave Luxury Villas are serviced every 3 days. The 3 bedroom apartments and Precinct Villas receive one service every 7 days. Should you want an additional paid service please contact reception either before or during your stay and they can arrange. Have a great Noosa stay.
Hi there, we provide some to get you going but you are likely to need more. If you are ever get stuck the team will provide you with a few more,
Hello Natlee198,
Thank you for your question. Our suites have one king bed (or 2 king singles) and a queen sized sofa. They don't fit an additional rollaway so you would need to look at a 2 bedroom villa or above if you needed more space. The sofa beds are big enough for 2 children.
Please let us know if you have any further queries.
Kind regards,
RACV Noosa Resort
