Our mum stayed at this hotel for a few days before we joined her for the weekend, staying in a family room.

The hotel was situated a couple of blocks back from the main street, but still within easy walking distance. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful, with flowering plants, large grassy areas to relax on, a pool and bbq area, perfect for famlies. There was ample parking, a laundromat on site and a large foyer area to sit out the fornt of reception. We had breakfast in their restaurant, which was a buffet style with a mall selection of foods but beautifully presented.

The room was old, and could definitley do with a spruce up, but it met our needs with the addition of a little kitchenette.

The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist us with some little extra things we needed and we were appreciative of this.

If you are looking for a basic hotel room, reasonably priced with staff who go out of their way to help, then this is a great choice when staying in Pemberton

Very pleasant staff at reception. Great price for what the motel offers. The rooms are spacious with everything one needs for a short stay. The Motel is getting old but if you don't mind that style and age, it is fine. The hot-water is erratic. One second the water in the shower is too hot and then suddenly freezing cold. The Motel is off the main road which helps with traffic noise. Breakfast is available for $10 but I had to leave early and chose to eat at a nearby cafe which opened at 7 am. The sound of Kookaburras greeted me when I arrived and left. Wonderful.

We stayed for 2 nights in an executive room with 3 family members (2 adults and 1 teenager).

Every time we pulled into the driveway off Widdeson Street we were transported into an oasis where all cares and stress melted away.

Big room and bathroom, great grassed area, and fun pool and barbecue area. Continental breakfast was handy to have included, and great location to explore Pemberton and the region. Great value for money.

For coffee and tea visit the General Store on the Main Street.

Our family of 4 stayed here for two nights. The staff were very accommodating to our needs and were very friendly. The grounds and pool are great for the kids (even for this time of the year). The breakfast is simple but delicious and very good value for money as kids eat free. We would recommend this lovely place to our friends for sure 👍

I booked a room at Karri Forrest Motel for my elderly (85 & 83 year old) parents. The first room they were given was fine except, the curtains were broken so they had no way of obtaining privacy or keeping the early morning light out of their room. The curtain track was the type that has metal hooks that slide along and fit into plastic runners - unfortunately the runners were mainly broken so the curtain was unable to be closed. They mentioned this & were moved to a new room, all good so far. This morning when my father, aged 85, went to reception to pay, there were 2 young women who had only just started work at the motel. They didn't speak much English but tried their best, unfortunately they didn't know how to operate the Eftpos machine so that my father could pay for his room. They said that the manager was sick in his room & that they would take my father so he could speak to him & organise payment and check out. They led my father through a kitchen area & into the manager's area to speak to him. My father said he saw the manager lying down & that when he saw my father he jumped up and yelled at him to **** off , a word starting with F and ending in K. He came storming after my father yelling & accusing him of breaking the curtains in the other room, which is frankly ridiculous. My father said he was just trying to pay, the manager continued to yell & act threateningly to my father, following him all the way to where my mother was waiting. As you can imagine they were both pretty shaken up, also very intimidated & scared. My advice, unless you like to be abused, Do Not Stay Here!!

My wife and I have just returned from having enjoyed a couple of nights stay at the motel.

The room was spacious and well provided. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

But we were particularly impressed with the $10.00 Continental Breakfast. It was by buffet style in the dining room. Eggs, fresh fruit, and all other foodstuffs which come with such a meal. One could keep going back and eat as much as you liked.

We have stayed at other motels and accommodation outlets in the area and this motel has proved to be far the best.

Mixed feelings about this place. When booking, called a few times and spoke to a very friendly accommodating man. When we arrived to check in at 2.15pm however (15 mins after check-in time), the reception was locked, no one was answering the phone and we wandered around for about 20 minutes trying to find someone who worked there. No apologies or warm welcome when we got checked in. When we finally got into the family room, it was nice enough. A bit old and the bathroom could use a refresh, but everything worked as it should. My biggest grievance was that there was a skylight in the bedroom!!! Not very condusive for a toddler's day sleep, or for trying to sleep past dawn. The pool was very clean, despite being quite dated. The "playground" had nails sticking out of the floorboards which was a bit stressful, an accident waiting to happen! The breakfast was a highlight. $10 for a continental breakfast is great value and the dining room is just beautiful - gorgeous garden views out of all the windows and would be very cosy in winter with a log fire going.

Our rooms were clean at a glance however there was a lot of dust and dead insects built up behind and under the beds. The rooms required a lot of maintenance. One room was missing a fly screen door. Taps and showers were continously dripping. Light fittings missing or hanging badly on the wall. Light bulbs were very dim. Beds are hard and uncomfortable.
Locks on the doors to the rooms were not sufficiently secure. All rooms required fresh paint.
There were no menu/list to explain costs of the minibar.
There was no way to hang up our "Request room to be made up" sign on the door so we placed it on the outside mat, however this was missed and our room was not made up.
The pool is dirty (too cold to swim when we were there anyway).
The Motel has lovley gardens, and this could be a very nice place to stay if the romms weremaintained. Our stay however was dispointing.

Not a fan of our allocated family room which was old and basic with no window or ventilation in main bedroom. This resulted in a very musky room smell, and overall lack of cleanliness was very noticeable and disturbing. Included continental breakfast was a bonus and hopefully some of the other accommodation options are better than ours.

Accomodation was very worn and needs maintenance. Bathroom window was broken and covered by a beer carton box. Smell from people smoking outside was coming in through the hole in the bathroom window which was not healthy for my baby who was staying in the room. There was also no light coverings, just bare bulbs. There was a hole in the wall of the second bedroom and the tap didn’t turn off properly. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The lock on the door was not secure - not recommended for a family.
