On the main road with excellent parking facilities across the road this hotel, run by the Mazzarolo is a treat. The premises are clean and tidy and offer a free salad bar with your meal. We sat outside, and had two serves of fish and chips, a chicken schnitzel, a seafood combo and I couldn't decide whether to have the...

Was booked to stay here overnight when Judging at the local Agricultural Show along with 2 fellow Judges. The room was cramped as it was obviously designed (and usually used) for a double bed only which had been removed and 3 single beds put in place. The flat screen TV was tiny and placed on a small coffee table. It...

I would definitely stay here again. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious with a king sized bed and flat screen TV. There is a small kitchenette, but as the cafe and restaurants are so good, you won't need to use it much. The bathroom is a bit on these small side and could...

The marketing slogan for this place is something like Discover the Advantage. However, it's really like rediscovering the 1970s again. The hotel is somewhat shabby, we had a room on the second floor at the back, but with no lift, we had to lug all our cases (for a 5 week holiday - thankfully only one night here) up the...

Reception was delightfully friendly. Great room, clean & tidy. Quiet enough. Great bed, but personally found the pillows terribly uncomfortable. Had an excellent dinner in the restaurant- our steaks cooked exactly as requested.

The rooms are so dark and had a bad smell. No furniture on the balcony. The bathroom was not nice. There was a kitchen sink in the bathroom (wonder if the got a special offer from the local store of kitchen sinks....).They called us because we were 10 min late for check out. We do not recommend this place. Go...

I'm sad to leave a bad review about this lovely country pub. The accomodation is generally lovely, I enjoy staying here. But the food is consistently terrible. In the past I've had soggy, frozen veg served with a roast dinner; the "fresh" local local trout also tasted as if it had been frozen, how you destroy Marron I don't know...

I don't want to put people off, BUT my friend was given the shock of his life when going to eat the tail, only to find that it was empty ! and what was a beautifully presented meal with the tail meat on the top :which he was very generous offering us to taste and his partner of course took...
