I’m not one to usually write reviews but in the case of Clover Cottage it would be wrong not to share just how magical, beautiful and tranquil this property is. It is owned by the kind and caring, Petrina and Paul who live on the property, which being twenty minutes out from the town on Manjimup, gives you piece of mind, should you need anything from help to advice. The cottages themselves are very clean, homely and inviting from the bread maker with yummy warm bread in it upon arrival (which has re inspired me to use mine at home again), to the mesmerizing pot belly stove which my husband became very proficient at lighting. I used the spa/bath most nights and then curled up in front of the fire, not getting too far into my book before I was nodding off to sleep, so many early nights were had! If you don’t wish to leave the property, byo your food and there is plenty to keep you occupied from canoeing, bush/river walks, tennis, trout fishing or swimming in the lakes or Warren River, to settling down with your book or laptop to relax or even work whilst away from home. If you do venture into Manjimup I would recommend Two Little Blackbirds Cafe for good coffee and breaky and to take a walk through the Heritage Park which is a historic little hamlet with a great kids play ground and the tourist bureau is close by. Tall Timbers is a great pub in town for lunch and the Mitre 10 and Vinnies stores are great if you are that way inclined. If you are into Wineries there are many within the region. We went to Hidden River just past Big Brook Dam for lunch and the food was excellent. Most of them open Wed to Sun so take note and double check before you make the journey. All in all I can’t really fault this place and will definitely be back and will look forward to seeing the wedding reception building finished. Who knows maybe one of my children might get married there in the future? It would be a beautiful venue for a wedding, that’s for sure.

We recently (4 couples) had the pleasure of staying at this hidden gem - a tranquil location with beautiful views and birdlife. The location was fantastic offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottages were lovely and provided a cozy and comfortable stay. A standout was the very helpful caretakers while the owners were away who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their hospitality and attention to detail (lighting the pit fire for us etc) was much appreciated. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat with breathtaking surroundings and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be!

It was a very relaxing stay. From the moment we put our foot in until we said goodby was joyful. Thanks for the owner. They waited us with freshly made bread ,home made jam, the room was heated with wood fire. This was just the beginning. The cottage was simple, spacious , stylish and elegant . The wild life around the cottage made us speechless ( the domestic animals as well😀)

Our stay at Clover Cottage was exceptional! A cosy cottage with all the mod cons, and some great reading about the family property & history, and info about local tourist destinations & walks around the property. Trout fishing in the 3 stocked dams was excellent & a lot of fun. The hosts were friendly, accommodating & very gracious, nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully maintained property with loads to see, and tons of wildlife, & the Warren River at the bottom of the property. Will definitely come back, for a longer stay.

Fantastic farm stay type experience with our kids. Great cottage, quiet - barely noticed any other family (there are four cottages on property). Caught trout, patted animals, warm fire at night, cooked bread, kayak in river, local wineries and exploring - a fantastic family holiday.

Went with my husband for our wedding anniversary and had the most beautiful weekend. The property is just gorgeous and the cottage was so cozy and comfortable. Fresh baked bread was waiting for us when we arrived and the wood fire kept us so snug at night. You won’t find a more peaceful place to get away from it all. We will definitely stay longer next time.

Staying at Clover Cottage was the perfect winter escape - watching the parrots from the warm bath was the highlight! Fully equipped kitchen, wifi and DVDs provided, and even homemade bread and jam on arrival. So close to Manjimup and Pemberton for activities. We’ll definitely be back!

I had a lovely stay at Clover Cottage with my two young boys. Petrina and Paul were very supportive, and the property is excellent for children. The cottages are very clean and comfortable and - importantly with little ones - well separated from neighbours and easy to clean up with the inevitable spills. Highly recommended.

The cottage building, furniture and everything inside is in very good condition. All kitchenware was provided and it was very convenient. I think I and my family felt the real flavour of South-West Australian hospitality while staying in the Clover Cottage. The location in the forest is a great escape place from a city noise.

Thank you to Paul for such a wonderful 2 night stay in your deluxe cottage. It was a joy opening the door to a warm cozy cottage with fire already burning in the pot belly, and the delicious smell of freshly cooked bread, still warm in the bread maker. What a treat! Everything was PERFECT from the beautifully appointed rooms, to the soft robes, comfortable beds with electric blankets and excellent bed linen. The spa bath was a delight, plenty of hot water too for delightful rain water showers. Fine bone China crockery and a well appointed kitchen, including dishwasher! Heaven!!! A large spotless fridge too! Clover cottage 4 is set in exceptionally beautiful grounds, well separated from 3 other cottages overlooking gorgeous lakes and a backdrop of tall trees. The balcony was a perfect spot to watch the sun set and have a drink. The photos online don’t do it justice. Blissfully quiet at night and glorious birdsong each evening and morning, warbling magpies, kookaburras, honey eaters and Wrens. What a sensory delight! I truly can’t fault this place. Wonderful for a romantic getaway. It’s about 15 minute drive to Manjimup so it’s a good idea to pick up supplies before arrival. But the cottage came with a few basics including bread, home made jam, coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper and oil and a little milk. I can’t wait for my next escape. I know where I’ll be going!
