Stayed once again at Hansel and our friends had Gretel both well appointed and very romantic for couples , Kitchen well equiped and views of the Forrest all around. Spa bath in bedroom a great feature . The owners are very friendly people and could not do enough for us . Highly recommended .
My husband and I stayed in the Hansel cottage for 2 nights to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. The cottages are situated in peaceful and tranquil surrounds where you feel (almost) one with nature. The cottage has everything you need - just bring your own food and drinks, or there are local dine in options. Town centre is only 15 mins drive away. The Hansel cottage upstairs has a lounge (with TV), dining and kitchen with balcony seating and bbq. Downstairs is a king bed, spa, en suite (shower and separate toilet), TV and outdoor veranda with seating. Rather luxurious, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Situated right next door to Karri Valley. Thank you Bev and Ken for special memories, you have outdone yourselves! Highly recommended.
My husband and I stayed in the Gretel cottage. What a beautiful place to unwind and relax. The king bed and huge spa bath are located on the top floor. Downstairs is an open fireplace with comfy chairs to watch TV. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a small dining area in the corner. Step out onto the balcony upstairs or downstairs and look down into the tranquil surrounds. It seems like there is just you and the wildlife. Will definitely be back. So many great places to explore around the area. Very friendly and inviting owners who are more than happy to give information of the surrounding areas to explore.
Stayed in the Juliet cottage, an old-world charmer. Very private, peaceful stay with a comfortable bed & jacuzzi bath. Had everything we needed in the cottage. We savoured our breakfast out on the verandah, enjoying the sound of kookaburras & wildlife. Enjoyed our 2-night stay & hosts were lovely. Thank you so much, Bev!
From the moment we arrived at The Robin Hood our cabin in the forest - it said welcome-enjoy yourselves. It was the cosiest of situations from our welcome by Ken to our reluctant farewells. Our rooms a queen and a double room were attractive and well thought out with extra pillows and throws for our comfort. Bathroom with a spa fully equipped kitchen etc. We immediately lit a fire and were warm and comfortable for the evening. The following days we walked to the Beedelup Falls and Cascades which are not to be missed, enjoyed lunch at Holy Smoke and the pub, drove to Northcliffe and Windy Harbour, another not to be missed drive, plus a wander around town, and always looking forward to our cosy evenings in our cabin. We even cooked our toast for breakfast on the open fire, memories of childhood. Check it out - you will not be disappointed. Shall we return? absolutely and possibly around Easter with our overseas visitors.…
