Detailed Reviews
Just returned after spending 6 nights at this gem of a property.
We stayed in the "spa suite", which was lovely even though we did not have a spa.
Room is larger than the "other rooms" and well worth the extra money.
We opted for breakfast which Maria and Bill cooked every day. It was beautifully cooked and presented. Big servings which was enough to keep you going the whole day. Choice of 3 lovely outside relaxing areas with tables and chairs, lots of Dolphin sightings and even tried a bit of fishing as well. Thoroughly recommend this small B&B really felt like home.

My husband and I have just returned from a lovely break to rediscover Mandurah. I booked our accommodation with the fabulous Una via email. The booking was very easy and we received an courtesy email the day before asking our arrival time. Una immediately makes you feel at home without being intrusive. She loves to cook and asked us exactly what we liked for breakfast and how we liked things cooked. The accommodation is great. There are two rooms on the top floor and a shared sitting room and big balcony (there was no one in the other room so we had the area to ourselves). We had booked the spa room which was huge and very well appointed and very clean. We had our own fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. We had lovely stay and was even sent home with some homemade rockyroad (yum) and a bucket of the best home grown tomatoes care of Unas friend. The views from the balcony early morning and at night were a highlight (everyone has their christmas lights up and they look fabulous reflected in the water). I feel that we got value for money that we probably wouldn't have gotten at the hotel type accommodation that we looked at online. .

I had 3 days at Port Mandurah Canals B&B and the accomodation, hospitality, scenery, location was amazing and welcoming that I had the most relaxing weekend. Una makes you feel at home and her cooked breakfast was great, she also made scones and gave me some to take home. If I have to book accomodation again in Mandurah I will certainly be returning to this B&B

The opportunity to stay on canals is rare and a great experience. Una the hostess was very kind and we felt quite at home even though in a B&B. Walking distance to everything in Mandurah Central. Plenty of car parking on site.

For all those interested in some incredible and cheap accommodation just a short drive south of Perth, you must consider Port Mandurah Canals Bed & Breakfast. It is a 2 storey home, built on the waterfront, with use of the private jetty (great for mooring your own small boat and going crabbing, dolphin spotting). There is a spa bedroom ($169 a night I think) and an ensuite bedroom (we paid $149 a night fri/sat) to stay in upstairs, with a combined lounge room and balcony. Very central location with an estimated 20 min walk to the foreshore. Drinks fridge on upper balcony, and electric BBQ for use if required. Breakfast is to die for, and in her words, I hope you're hungry because you're not leaving here til your full. Fruit, cereal, yogurts, along with a plate loaded with bacon, eggs, beans, tomato, mushrooms & toast The host is Una, a wonderfully friendly lady who is more than welcome to help out with tips, advise, lending crab nets etc. Highly recommended

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing weekend at this perfect b&b. Una, the owner, made our stay just wonderful. She cooks a delicious breakfast and spoiled us to her irresistible baking. This is a perfect location where we were able to watch and abundance of life in the canal, including pelicans and dolphins, from our room. Highly recommended.

This is a large house on the Mandurah Canals development - there are two rooms on the first floor which share a sitting room and a super balcony overlooking the water. The more expensive room is significantly bigger than the other and probably worth the extra if you are sharing the balcony and sitting room. We weren't, so found the smaller room more than adequate. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and excellent. It's quite a pleasant walk into Mandurah for an evening meal. All in all a nice change from motels.

This place is a gem and Una makes it sparkle, it was like staying with friends only better. We had the spa room which was magnificent, very comfy bed, huge room and balcony with fridge, all the home comforts, PLUS the home baking and enormous breakfast. It is only a 10 min walk into town and there is also an excellent Italian restaurant at the end of the road and a pub/tapas bar.
Una is such a great host and nothing is too much trouble. Her only problem is with portion size, she loves to feed you and my husband love to eat. Thanks again Una.
