I was sceptical after reading some reviews but so glad I stayed with my booking. Stayed the weekend in the middle of a 17 day business/holiday trip from the Uk. It was everything I hoped for, like a real holiday apartment break, with THE best location and what sunrise views from the balcony of my room (52)!! Despite other reviews, I found the staff so helpful and cheerful, couldn’t be nicer. Bed really comfortable, air conditioning so good I had to turn it down, even though it was 39C this weekend. A great opportunity also to get some laundry done mid-trip. Plenty of cafes around for really good breakfast on the deck looking over the marina. Couple of really good bars, restaurants also, literally downstairs or across the footbridge. Even though some were under my room (I was on second floor) no problem with the noise. I read a review mentioning shower running hot then cold. Mine did this but it could not spoil a really great stay.

If you are expecting luxury, seriously think again. We arrived on Saturday and it's hot. There is a single air conditioner in the open lounge/kitchenette area and none in the two bedrooms. 1 bedroom faces the walkway and the window is lined with venetian blinds, screening no light but providing basic privacy. The rooms have seen much better days and could do with a paint (at least under the air conditioner as previous leaks have destroyed the plasterboard and the patch job is very amateur) as well as high use areas such as corners of walls in bathrooms. There is mould in the outlet of the handbasin in at least one of the bathrooms and scratches and marks on walls. The room is furnished with cheap veneered and rattan furniture broken and chipped and the hot water service for showers runs hot and cold and hot and cold. When maintenance eventually looked at this we were advised we had the mixer tap in the wrong position and that it either needed to be at one extreme or the other (meaning we would either have very hot or very cold showers - to my basic understanding of plumbing this is NOT how mixer taps should work). The air conditioner upstairs drips onto our balcony, best be careful where you stand out there. There is undercover parking available, but best bring your moped, as our vehicle, which had to be parked nose in because of overhead parking restrictions, hung half out the back of the allocated ncar park, rendering it useless for us, or for anybody wanting to pass our parked car. All in all whoever rated this a 4 star or 4.5 star has a very different understanding of 4 or 4.5 stars than I do. Ask questions of managemnt before you consider booking here.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am so sorry to read of the issues during your stay. A lot of the issues you have mentioned such as the airconditioning, the tight car park spaces etc are something we cannot control and were put in place at the time of building. All hot water systems and taps are different, and you usually need to adjust the mixer tap to reach the desired temperature. However we will continue to monitor this unit for any more issues and call a plumber if needed. The airconditioner only leaked within the past week as the weather has got warmer, so there was unfortunately no time to patch and paint before your stay. We do already have it scheduled to be done in the next few weeks. I will most certainly speak to the housekeeping manager regarding the mould, and also contact the owners with regards to the furnishings and painting etc. Please note that each of our units are individually owned, so the majority of items within the apartments are upto the owners to replace. We do hope you will try us again, and if you do please reach out to me directly so we can make sure you have a more enjoyable stay next time. Kind regards Emma Biggs General Manager

Don’t stay here. View is lovely, bed was hard as a rock, and customer service was awful. I let them know after 1st night, in the morning that the bed was very hard and was like sleeping in concrete. I was told the they would put a mattress topper or a quilt to cushion, they never came. Rang no one at the reception in afternoon and it was still early and I rang after hours told if I wanted some to investigate the hard bed there was a $80 call out fee and could I just hold on until the next day. But we where only staying 2 nights, I will never stay again, there was not even a sorry, they just take your money and there is no service, for overpriced place.

Good morning, Thank you so much for your feedback. I do apologise you found the bed hard. All our units are individually owned, and things such as bedding will be a personal preference. We do not currently have any mattress toppers spare, however I sincerely apologise that no one attended with extra bedding for you and will endeavour to make sure all requests are followed up on by housekeeping and front office teams. I thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I will most certainly look into purchasing some mattress toppers, so if you do decide to come back again, please contact us directly with your requests. Kind regards Emma Biggs General Manager

Clean unit with lovely outlook but beds in second bedroom were very very tiny and not suitable for adults. Not great security at the front door as always open and anyone could come up in lift. Would not like to stay here in winter as it has fully open corridors and so no cover to get to rooms. Bedside lights were tagged saying “not to use, danger and out of order”. Unit is fine for one couple with small kids and it is right above some great restaurants and an easy walk into Mandurah.

Noisy, tired, obstructed views (not as portrayed), the shower alternately ran hot & cold, couldn't open the door to the laundry, no cooling or fan in the bedroom. Great position but for the cost, not worth it, not even close

Stayed for 1 night on our way to Margaret river, great location hand to restaurants & easy walk to the beach. Reception closes at 5pm but they emailed information on getting keys. We had a 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom. Once we parked in car the basement no signs to find the lift 5 us walked past it as the light was broken dark in front of it and no signs. Our 2-bedroom had good view of marina, a bit dated. There was storm that came through if you bedroom backs onto the courtyard between the other apartments loud wind tunnel, also with the second bedroom no block out curtains so the light from the courtyard comes through. Was good for one night while it was cold no air conditioning in bedroom, or it was hot no fan in bedroom only air conditioning in the lounge room.

From the minute we arrived we were welcomed by the lovely reception staff. So friendly and instantly got the holiday off to a great start. Stayed on level 2, room #35. A spacious, clean, lovely 2 bedroom apartment with fabulous views of the ocean marina and surrounds. Midway through our stay housekeeping came and did a much appreciated freshen up of our apartment, unasked. (Thanks again!) despite staying less than 7 days. Everything was fully functional, including washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, etc. like a little home away from home. Excellent balcony with great views to sit out and enjoy a meal or drink, BBQ was super handy. Within walking distance to all shops, groceries, bottle shops, restaurants, etc. 10/10 stay. Loved it!

Really good standard of accomodation - stayed 4 nights when in Mandurah on business - always prefer apartments to hotel room when on business - ideally located next to all the amenities you’d want - 5 min drive from secure parking to my workplace - so good that I’ve booked another 2 nights next week when back in Mandurah for work

I paid extra for a premium apartment. The floor was very dirty and in need of a good shampoo and other parts were not as clean as they might be but on the first night we decided to watch a couple of shows on the TV however the remote had no batteries in it and the bedside lamp globe was not working. This did not stop us from enjoying what Mandurah has to offer. But will stay at something a little more upmarket next visit.

Absolute excellent location for everything. Communication was first class, an example, there were issues with accessing the caroark. We were sent a text prior to the work and after with ckear instructions on how to proceed. Very secure, clean, modern, comfortable and well laid out. All the comforts of home. Awesome place.
