Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good location, lovely pool area and parking. Apartment was ok but needs upgrading. kitchen area not great, ours went into a point that was difficult to use. Not enough cooking utensils. Bathrooms were ok. Beds were very comfortable. Not enough storage for clothes. Was big enough for our needs.

Pluses: - Ample parking, with complimentary on-street parking opposite the hotel - Nice hot water in the shower. The eco-friendly shampoo/bath wash was nice - Bathrooms have been tastefully renovated - Conveniently located within walking distance to a few restaurants Minuses: - Definitely showing its age. Brick building, with no lift to Lvl 2 - Como accommodation isn't cheap, and this one didn't come cheap at $300 nightly - Kwinana Highway was noisy

Broadwater Resort Como is situated in quiet neighbourhood. My first impression is that this place was as promised on their website. Clean and well kept. The 1st floor unit I was in 52 (2 bedrooms + a loft = 6 beds) was clean and everything looked pretty new. There are 3 aircon/heater unit in (1) the main master bedroom (2) dining/ kitchen area (3) loft. 2 Shower bathroom - one ensuite + one shared (both downstairs) Due to unforeseen circumstances, 3 members of family couldn't make it, but I think but I believe with a full house of 5-6 it would be quite comfortable a space. The loft is spacious with 2 single beds. The kitchen was suitably equipped with electric stove, oven, microwave oven, kettle and fridge /freezer. Utensils and crockery all pretty new. We cooked breakfast daily and managed to use the oven to cook some chicken as well. ONLY complaint is that the ventilation was not so good, even with the hood on - so there was lingering smell of cooking. I just used the air freshener (requested from the housekeeping staff) There are not many staff but they were all professional and helpful. Housekeeping came every 4 days (extra frequency with extra charges). Whatever questions I had, was resolved within half hour. The only slight complaint I have is that my (back)room was next to the tennis court so I can hear people playing and chatting. It was winter so maybe less people playing at the courts - not sure how much more traffic in other seasons. In the mornings I could also hear the sounds of carts of trolleys rolling around ( by the staff). I was very thankful parking is within an enclosed area where you have to tap in with a security card. There is both covered and open parking. If each family had ONE car, I believe there'll be enough parking lots. There are also parking spaces outside and just across from the hotel. Broadwater doesn't really have an attached F&B outlet. There was a Pizza restaurant attached but I didn't notice it operating during my 2 weeks' stay there. However it's not an issue as there are many cafes and restaurants (very famous dim sum) nearby. There are supermarket and pharmacy within walking distance (about 10 mins walk) nearby. If I had to get a place for a larger group, I would definitely check out the rates for Broadwater Resort Como again. There is a patio area with table and seating outside each unit.

The window in our bedroom was broken, it was pouring down with rain and absolutely freezing, as well as the fact the hotel is right on the freeway we couldn't sleep because it was so noisy. We emailed the hotel to let them know we were disappointed and that the window was broken, and still 3 days later have not received a response which is very average for the price you pay for this hotel.

Surprised to see the Room, Cleanliness and the Comforts. True Value for Money, cannot complain. Great Room Size, Ample room and relaxing balcony area, a very good Bedroom and Fantastic Bathroom with washing. Room is very close to Freeway so there is very little sound that you can experience, not that I felt any as I was out most of the day and night it was quiet enough to sleep. Centrally Located 24/7 IGA Supermarket is walking distance, Walking distance for few shops and eatry, hotel have its own Italian Restaurant as well. What can an Traveller ask for more, saying Do not Judge the Book by its Cover is so true with this hidden Gem. Will definately recommend and stay again and again. Very good Receptionist very Customer Focus.

Just had a one night stay but will be back. Reception staff were friendly, had a one bedroom loft apartment which was clean and great for the four of us. Very close to the Kwinana and train line but if you book without realising that then that’s on you. Kids loved the pool and spa. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom loft. We were able to check in early which was great. Check in was quick and efficient. The room was well set out with a master bedroom and ensuite with tv, 2 minor bedrooms and a loft. The 2nd bathroom had a washing machine and dryer. Both bathrooms have been recently renovated. The kitchen is tiny. It is basically impossible for 2 people to be working on a meal at once and we did find it difficult to cook for 7 people. There is only one oven tray, we did ask if more were available and were told no. On arrival the fridge light was off and didn't feel cold. We had maintenance up and it took about an hour to get cold. We had arrived with groceries so this was concerning. We also had a few more minor issues including the cord for DVD player not working, the table bolts being incredibly loose and a leaking tap. Twice when we returned wet towels to reception (which is states you can do) my partner was questioned on why we couldn't wash them. The reason we couldn't wash them is because we had 7 people and also our normal laundry. We don't expect to wash all holiday. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and dessert from the restaurant. The pool is great and we love the shade over it. The maintenance man was very friendly and helpful. There is no aircon in master bedroom or 2 minor bedrooms, therefore it was fairly hot at night in the rooms. We did enjoy our stay overall. The room is definitely suitable for 8 people and is well set up.

We stayed for one night and upon entering the gates we felt secure and peaceful. The pool area looked great, we did not use pool. Room 51 patio is large tho does not have a view, ground floor. Facilities for stay are very very clean and well supplied with tea coffee, fridge, hot plates, cutlery dishes, etc a washing machine and dryer. Bathroom is spacious. King bed comfy with tv in bedroom. Lounge comfy with good tv reception. The restaurant was closed being a Monday but there are good cafes and restaurants 5 minutes walk away and a small well serviced small local shopping centre with great little IGA with ample variety of pre made foods. Stones throw from waters edge and walking paths.

The staff were very helpful. The apartments are great. The location is really good, just around corner from shops, cinema and pub. Just a bit noisy. The facilities are clean. The use of the pool and areas is a bonus.
