Very impressed with the cleanliness in these COVID times. Couldn’t fault anything about our accommodation. Close proximity to shops, beach and restaurants. Staff helpful and friendly. Would recommend Sebel Busselton.

We've stayed at the Sebel several times. With an awesome covered pool, games room and beach close by it's a great destination for families with little kids. Staff are friendly. Villas are comfortable, although a little tired for the expensive price. There is a great local shopping centre around the corner also. We really like the place, but it's expensive for what you get. Pick your room carefully, and be wary of the 2 story villas with common walls. We stayed in one that had kids and the noise through the wall was ridiculously loud. Definitely a design problem. Fortunately the staff moved us, but if there were no alternative rooms available we would have had to leave.

Thank you Stuartroaming for returning to stay with us again and for taking the time to share your review with us. It was great to hear that you enjoyed your stay and all of the resort facilities. If you are wanting a quieter stay then I would suggest staying away from the school holiday period if you have the option to. I do understand that this is not always possible. Thank you again and we hope to welcome you back to the resort again soon. Kind regards Sandy Crothers General Manager

As a family of 6 we stayed for 3 nights in a 3 bedroom Bungalow. We were aware the rooms were the original design however we did not realise how unclean and filthy the rooms were going to be. After explaining to reception how dirty the headboard( in the master bedroom) the exhaust fan (downstairs) and air conditioner in the living room were it took 2 attempts to get these cleaned. It’s amazing that a hotel with COVID standards can think rooms like this are acceptable. I am appalled as an asthmatic that these rooms aren’t deep cleaned at least once a month for the price you pay. Not only were items unclean, door handles were falling off, the exhaust fan in the master bathroom was noisey, chairs easily broken, utensils worn, stains on the doona and blinds in the upstairs loft broken. My son who is 8 also had a plastic chair break on him outside and bruise his leg. Although the staff were apologetic, at no time was a discount at any time offered. For the price paid for the room in peak time the customer service could of been a lot better than what is was. We have stayed at many family accomodations in Busselton before and this was the first and sadly the LAST time we will visit the Sebel in Busselton.

Hi Vacationer551092, thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. I hear your frustrations and apologise that we did not meet the standards that everyone would expect when staying with us at The Sebel Busselton. It seems that on this occasion we have fallen short with our cleaning and maintenance standards, I do sincerely apologise for that. We have taken on board your concerns and we are looking at ways that we can prevent this from happening for future guests. In relation to the quality of the room we do have apartments that have been refurbished more recently than the Bungalows. If you do reconsider and choose to stay with us again in the future this accommodation type may be a better option for you. Once again thank you for sharing your review and we wish you a safe and happy 2021. Kind regards Sandy Crothers General Manager

Our first stay at the Sebel and we were very disappointed with the experience. the complex was noisey from 7am to 9.30pm with cleaners and general workers, particularly with wheeling rubbish bins at late hours. No cleaning service of the room for the whole of our 5 day stay, our room had the hot water system on the outside wall of our bedroom for the whole section of apartments we were in and were woken at late hours and very early in the mornings with the noise from it. The small fridge provided was not working properly and the main phone line was broken and had to be fixed on our first night - obviously no checks are carried out on the rooms when vacated.

Thank you B6629MFannb for sharing your feedback with us. I am sorry that you found the resort to be noisy. We do have maintenance staff on site from 7am - 9.30pm to attend to guest needs so I apologise if they were creating unnecessary noise during this time. You are correct in relation to the rooms not being serviced, though if you stay longer than 7 nights we do provide a mid week clean. If you require anything during your stay though we are more than happy to assist you with those requests. If you could please let me know what room number you were staying in I can get the hot water unit that you are referring to looked at by a plumber, we would prefer to get it fixed than have it disturb future guests. We can then attended to the fridge in that room as well. I apologise for the issues that arose during your stay and hope that this has not deterred you from returning to stay with us in the future. Kind regards Sandy Crothers General Manager

All the staff are very professional and Customer Service is superb. If you are offered a room on the highway don’t panic. The double glazing cuts out all traffic noise. This is an ideal place for a family holiday.
