We had previously stayed at the Abbey Beach Resort next door but decided to give this a try, there's no restaurant but you don't need on as there's lots of places to eat around town.
We wanted to have a kitchen so that we could make our own breakfast and have more flexiblity.
Apartments are set amongst the trees and despite there being a lot of units it still manages to feel private, I love the wrap around walls that give each until a bit of garden which makes you feel secluded.
We stayed mid week and past the peak summer months to it was lovely and quiet, we were initially nervous about that as it's advertised for families but given the time of year we didn't have to worry, no disruptive children!
There's a large bed, spa bath, shower, lounge area, kitchen and as mentioned outdoor seating area, car is parked right outside, although we did have a bit of an altercation with someone one night who parked in our spot but they moved eventually with a bit of prompting!
We didn't use any other facilities, we were only staying for 2 nights but the we found the place much more modern and cleaner than Abbey Beach and certainly not as expenisve, the beach is only a short walk away.
Only a few nitpicks:
The metal edges where the windows meet needs a good clean as dirt had collected in them and hadn't been cleaned for a while.
Internet was free but didn't work the entire time we were there! It kept saying it was connecting but nothing happened.
The mirror in the bathroom needed replacing as it had large desilvering on the bottom but otherwise no complaints, we would definitely stay there again.
Could do with some cushions for the sofas, they were a bit uncomfortable without them.

Dear Bonnieblue, Thank you very much indeed for your valued feedback. We are so glad you gave us a try and enjoyed the peaceful setting, privacy, and well equipped villa. It is great to know you found the space modern, clean, and good value for money. Thank you for your feedback on the minor maintenance issues and the Wi-Fi. The overall feeling is good, the price is reasonable, and the cost performance is high. It is relatively clean and the facilities and equipment are relatively complete. Due to time reasons, I only stayed for one night. Each bedroom has an independent door to go out, which is very suitable for sharing with friends and relatives without affecting each other.

We personally went to reception to see if there was any accommodation available for the following week for my husband & I, the young lady was so helpful & courteous, she quoted us $939.60 total for the stay . The payment would be taken from our card 2 day prior to arrival. Upon our arrival the receipt left in our room showed they took $1044 as payment. I went to reception to query why I was quoted one price but charged an extra $104.44
I was told sorry (by different person, not so courteous) that is the price in the computer & there was nothing they could do. The studio certainly was not worth the price, very overpriced.

Dear Sylvia, Thank you for the valued feedback in regards to your recent stay with us. We are pleased to hear that our team member at Reception was helpful during the initial booking process, but we are really sorry for the confusion and frustration regarding the rate discrepancy upon your arrival. Our pricing does fluctuate based on demand, and it is possible that the rate changed between your initial inquiry and when payment was processed. However, we understand how disappointing this must have been, and we will be looking into the matter to avoid such misunderstandings in the future. We also regret that the Studio Villa did not meet your expectations for the price. We value your feedback and will work to improve both our communication and the overall customer service. Thank you again for your honesty, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better stay in the future. Sincerely, M. Athif General Manager

Started the experience by being checked into an uncleaned room, before a 15-20 min checkin process. Booked the Exec Villa with a big spa to only be told they only had a few rooms like that & most these rooms have a tiny bathtub spa lucky to fit a small child.
The rooms very spacious, the decor and furniture can only be described as minimalistic. Tiny couches in a huge open area basically containing a bed, couch and small dining table. Everything seems to be done on the cheap here, and you are paying way too much for what it is.
Huge complex with seperate villas, so there’s plenty of privacy. The buildings look old but they’re ok inside, the beaches are beautiful in summer months but not great in winter so avoid. No amenities on site to speak of besides an outdoors enclosed heated pool, tennis courts but no bar / restaurant any more. Spinnakers their restaurant was a good spot years ago but now nothing for breakfast or dinner, although Tonic on the Bay (bar connected to Broadwater nearby) is close walking distance so that was handy.
It’s quite a nice location and we found it handy for accessing most out favourite spots in Dunsborough, Margaret’s and Yallingup, but will avoid this place in future

Dear Cam, Thank you for sharing your valued feedback regarding your stay with us. We understand your disappointment with the variation in the spa baths in our Executive Villas. While some come with corner spa baths, others have a bathtub style bath, both designed to accommodate adults comfortably. We appreciate your comments about the room's spaciousness and minimalist decor, as well as the privacy offered by our separate villas. Your feedback will be taken on board in our ongoing improvements. We are glad you enjoyed the location and found it convenient for exploring the area. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you again in future. Sincerely, M. Athif General Manager

A nice & quick overnight stay at Bayview Geographer Resort to attend a wedding during school holiday.
We booked an Executive Villa with a King bed & it was a pleasant stay.

The Checkin was quick, with just enough separation between each unit to give it a cosy and holiday ambience.
The aircon unit is quite dated but efficient enough to heat up during the chilly evening, while the bathroom is basic but clean.
.
As with other reviews, the complimentary wifi was almost non usable due to congestion most of the time we tried to use it, so we had to resort to personal hotspot on mobiles with sporadic reception. We are hopeful this will improve once the upgrade is completed.

Parking wise: while they have allocated parking for each chalet or Villa, we found there were times when we had to park further away during peak times because there were more cars parked around our units.

Location wise, a big plus is how close the resort is to the beach. It was literally a few minutes walk from the resort to the beautiful Georgraphe bay.

Tip 1 : it’s worth requesting for late check out with different customer service staff at different times as we were told a day before by a staff that no late check out was available due to peak season, but another staff was kind enough to offer us a late check out at 11am on the morning of our departure. That extra 1 hr is so appreciative when you have a young family

Tip 2 : The indoor swimming pool is worth a visit because the glass walls act like a greenhouse & warm up the interior despite the windy & slightly chilly weather outside

Tip 3 : a nice feature to include washing machine in each unit, and also in the laundry hut next to the swimming pool, for those sandy and soiled laundry

Overall a pleasant overnight stay

I needed a few quick days of relaxation away from Perth so booked in for 3 nights at Bayview. Probably the only minor niggle with my break was the overcast weather on a few occasions. The best day was Friday when I had to leave, as is always my luck.
The resort itself ticked all the boxes and as I scored a spa room, it well and truly made my stay. My room was spotless and more than adequate for a solo traveller. Check in was super quick and staff were very polite and welcoming as per usual. I only wish that a microwave was included in the resort rooms rather than upgrading to the more expensive rooms as being on my own, it wasn’t worth the extra cost just for the sake of this appliance.
Luckily I picked a date well outside the peak season so I knew it would be quiet and peaceful. The natural surrounds are fantastic and well maintained. Sitting outside at night chilling out while enjoying a beer and a meal was bliss.
A lot of my time was spent either in the indoor heated pool or along a stretch of beautiful clean beaches near the resort. I always stay here for my breaks and have always recommended this slice of paradise to my friends. Thanks again and I’ll be back!!

One of many resorts on the bay situated just 10 minutes from town and en route to Margaret river.
We stayed in a 'hotel room' - basically one in a block of 4 chalet type buildings set in very pleasant leafy grounds.
The room was nicely furnished with a very comfy king size bed plus tea making facility and a fridge and was very spacious.
Located at the road end of the property it was quite a walk to the beach and pool though you could actually drive through the grounds to save the long walk.
Beach was beautiful and stretched for miles whilst the pool was a good size too if you don't like getting sand everywhere.
The one thing missing from the resort is an on site cafe or restaurant but there are nearby places to eat. Looks like they had this facility before but I don't know the reason for it's closure.
Would definitely stay again but maybe in upgraded accommodation.

I took my friends there for a road trip as we planned to visit Yallingup, Busselton, and Margaret River for 2 days. The receptionist was kind and welcomed us cheerfully. We stayed at a 3-bedroom apartment and the rooms were spacious and had everything we need. The only 2 cons I would mention are that the WiFi was always not connecting properly and needed to get fixed, and the furniture is a bit old & needs an upgrade. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay there and the hotel's location is very convenient as it was next to Busselton's famous Jetty, and all shops or restaurants that we wanted to try there. It was a perfect spot to stay at while we visited Margaret River and Sugarloaf Rock during out stay. Overall, we had fun.

Having booked up literally just after the regional borders reopened, we got a great price for 6 nights stay in a 2 bedroom self contained villa.
Very friendly staff on reception and they rang just before we came down, letting us know that their indoor pool was out of use. They gave us the option to cancel, or free use of the pool in the hotel next door.
As it's a Winter holiday, we had no plans on using the pool, so it didn't effect us. The beach is a 5 minute walk from our villa, with a large grass area with a few barbeque facilities.
The resort is easy to find, along the very busy Bussel Highway. Can be hard to get out of,especially turning right, just need to be patient. Lots of other hotels and accommodation close by. Within walking distance are a grocery store, coffee/ bakery, fish and chips, a pharmacy and a newsagent.
The tennis courts were popular with racquets and balls available for hire. Courts need to be booked to use.
The villa we were in was very clean, quite old, no dish washer and limited kitchen ware. But we don't have a dish washer at home and was planning on eating out, so it didn't bother us.
Everything was in working order. Appreciated the heating, especially as it hit 2 degrees one morning!
We used the washing machine and dryer a few times and the line dryer was handy, we brought our own too.
As the villa wasn't serviced for a few days, we asked for clean bath towels and mat, that we got straight away. We bought toilet rolls and tissue as 3 rolls provided wouldn't last - but on the Sunday, it was serviced and everything replenished.
There is a restaurant, but we didn't use it. Seemed popular with other guests.
The grounds are well maintained and good parking facilities.
Lots of young families here as well as older couples.

We visited this week for a mini family getaway from Perth amid the crazy corona situation. I’d researched online and seen many good reviews for Bayview Geographe so we booked a three bedroom villa for our family of 4 - I mainly booked this villa type because of the spa bath!! 😊

Check in was easy, the room was wonderful (big, spacious, clean and the spa was amazing after a cold day exploring!) and the grounds are lovely.

We’d stay again if the price was right but others should be aware of a couple of things;

The pool isn’t exactly indoors. It’s essentially a pool in a big glass structure, it’s cold on a chilly day and the photos online of a beautiful structure surrounded by lush plants isn’t what you’ll find. It’s older in style, at the back of the property near what I think is an old building? The kids enjoyed it and that’s the main thing though!

The mini golf.. well.. it isn’t mini golf and we were disappointed as this was to be a main attraction for us. It’s a few putting greens. Hardly a mini golf course.

The meal we had at the restaurant was one of the worst I’ve ever had - I recommend you to go down the road to one of the fab pubs or cafes for a meal instead.

Also, house keeping never came despite being told they would to change towels and take away our meal from the restaurant. They were however literally waiting outside our room at 10am on the dot as we were checking out..

All in all a nice spot for a night or two but the facilities are a bit outdated.

No, there’s no games room and hasn’t been for a few years now. It used to be in the old 2 storey “super cheap” accommodation next to the indoor pool but was demolished a while ago and now has a kids playground where it once was. Also there is no basketball court although they do have a beach volleyball court near the front of the resort. Also nearly finished is an outdoor bocce court.
