What a memorable stay at the newest Hilton hotel in WA!
If you are looking for a newly opened, centrally located and lovely hotel in Busselton with an equally amazing customer services from the staff and management, this is it!! That was our collective experience during our weekend stay for a wedding nearby.
From the initial communication of booking the hotel pre-opening, we were well looked after by Des Shanks & his team right through to the request for early check in on the day to facilitate our attendance at the wedding, and throughout our short stay till our departure. The service is what defines our felt experience of hospitality in action.
Some examples are: Ntula at reception was kind enough to return my call during my drive down to update me on my request for early check in. Naomi as Front Office Manager was helpful with my reservation changes, and all the staff we met were friendly and courteous.
Of special note is Gypsie who was working on Sunday at breakfast. Not only did she show me how to make mocha her way from hot chocolate powder & the coffee machine, she proceeded to make me one, and also proactively brought a kids activity bag t9 keep my 5yo occupied so I can have some Brekky in peace. Abbie was quick to clear the tables, & I also witness the Can Do from the female chef at the Egg station, where a customer had a few unique request, including asking for the sliced onions to be fried and cooked so he can make a bacon & egg sandwich with onion.
The King deluxe Room 216 was furnished with modern and considerate touches, such as power sockets with both USB-B & USB-C plugs throughout the room. The bed is plush and soft, and the sofa bed was a bonus too.
The swimming pool was shaded from the sun in late afternoon, which served as a good distraction for the kids, especially with the mermaids and donut floaties provided. There were many families with young kids during our stay too enjoying the new Hilton during school holiday but the hotel did not feel crowded at all.
Despite the slightly longer wait time for one of the 3 lifts, and the challenging of finding a car bay as a result of hotel being sold out during our stay, we still found the experience a fantastic one.
Lastly, the location is second to none, with the famous Busselton Jetty literally a minute walk away!
We can’t wait to return for another stay. Keep up the great work Des & the HGI team!

This new addition to the Hilton Garden Inn family in Western Australia is the jewel in the crown of Busselton.

The view through the balcony doors as you enter the guest room is nothing short of breathtaking. Front and centre is the heritage listed nearly 2km long Busselton Jetty just a 2 minute walk from the hotel, spanning the glistening waters of Geographe Bay. The foreshore offers many excellent casual eateries and has large grassed areas shaded by towering Norfolk Island pines.

The hotel decor is light and contemporary with every amenity you could wish for. Large fixed bathroom amenities save you packing toiletries and are luxury quality. There is well thought out storage in the bathroom and a strong hot shower with soft fluffy towels for afterwards. Now to the bed with the well known Hilton comfort, the best sleep. Breakfast offered a vast selection of hot and cold options, cooked to order omelettes and a thoughtfully provided children’s waffle section complete with children’s plates, bowels, cups and cutlery.

A warm and welcoming team ensures you feel relaxed and well looked after. Thanks to you all for your care!

We loved it so much, we didn’t move our car for the three days we were there. Everything is on your doorstep.

We've stayed at many Hilton properties. The Busselton HGI exceeded our expectations. The location is great - a 3 minute walk to the jetty as well as a couple eating/ drinking establishments. Property is new, modern and well maintained. Breakfast buffet had a very broad range of foods, both hot and cold; all were fresh and delicious. Staff was professional, helpful and friendly. Despite the high level of occupancy, rooms and hallways were very quiet. We didn't have one, but beachfront rooms all appeared to have generous balconies. Another time we would definitely book one of those. Ours was an extremely pleasant stay. Very highly recommended. All those 5 star reviews are right on.

Myself and my wife have just returned from our weekend break from Perth down to the hotel which is situated in a fantastic location close to the jetty, beach and the esplanade area. The hotel is modern, bright & clean with great staff and lovely new facilities.
Just a couple of ‘Negatives’ for us….Firstly for a hotel chain that is classed as ‘High End’ and charges accordingly having no Fox footy/league or casting availability on the room TV is not great and behind the times. Second issue is the lack of shade around the pool. The pool only had x1 umbrella in total with the entire Southside in full sun with myself and others having to seek shade behind the structure columns or the adjacent tree. Lastly just a couple of minor whinges…Bottled water provided in the room on arrival only and not re-stocked daily and x24 hours to top-up the empty hand wash/body location in our bathroom.
Overall a great experience but at +$350 per night a couple of things just took the shine of the trip in general.

I’ve been wanting to try this new hotel since it was built. It’s a great location and it’s a Hilton!
Check in process took 15ish minutes. Not sure why but the system seemed clunky and I didn’t actually get to tap the eftpos machine, I think it was done for me which is dodgy!
First impression of the room was “cheap build.”
It was nice enough but had vinyl planks on the floor, cheapish furniture, and some kind of weird hard bench seat that was totally impractical for anything. It may have been a fold out bed??? But as a seat it was horrible.
The bed was good and the pillows were the best part.
Shower taps were confusing and the light switches were modern but black so very hard to see when you needed them. Kettle sounded like a jet plane starting up 😀.
The bar and outdoor area were lovely, the pool and landscaped areas were amazing and beautifully kept.
Parking was free which is a bonus and every staff member was lovely and professional.
It just didn’t represent the Hilton experience I thought it would be.

This wasn’t the best stay we’ve had in a hotel. We stayed two nights. Clean bedding, but VERY hard bed. Hand soap was empty for all 3 days (it’s a refill bottle). We also didn’t get our towels replaced, and they had taken two out - lucky there was three so we had one left. To have a shower, you need an instruction manual; first to turn it on, and then to try and switch between the rain shower and the wall shower! To raise the blinds, I hope you’ve got muscles! It is so stiff and loud! Be careful they don’t fall off the wall. Then you’ve got to try and open the heavy stiff door to go onto the balcony. I assume this is a safety thing, but the safety bolt that they have was snapped by a previous visitor (probably trying to open the door!). Beautiful view of the jetty though. Worth the effort. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Expensive breakfast ($37), but plenty of places to eat if you take the short walk into town.

The location is fantastic being near the jetty with good sea views from a lot of rooms. The staff were very efficient and friendly which made for a great overall visit. In fact we were so impressed with the hotel we changed our plans so we could come back later on our trip.

Booking simple
Front Desk Staff accommodating and pleasant
Great location
Room small, bathroom very small
No toothbrushes
I have travelled to many overseas hotels over the past 15 years and this is the first time I have experienced triple sheeting on a bed. At first I politely expressed my ignorance - apparently they do not use quilt covers, just a flat sheet on the bed, under the quilt and another on top of the quilt. No other Hilton Hotel we’ve visited has such a practice.
When we stayed there the Function Room was being used, which is located on the top floor, needless to say the noise was very loud and kept us awake for most of the night. Sound proofing is an issue.
The safe is in a bottom cupboard and difficult to access.
The bar restaurant was okay though very small and the seating arrangement is not adequate to have a meal comfortably.
The menu in the restaurant and bar is very limited.
Parking is in the open, not fenced or covered.
For me this is a budget version of the Hilton Hotels…..but not with a budget price.

Hi there, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback of our hotel. The Hilton Garden Inn brand is what we call a focused service hotel, built for efficient convenience for business and leisure travelers alike. Our 4-star properties have toothbrushes and other amenities available upon request, rather than standardized across all rooms. Our dynamic pricing reflects demand and depends on day of the week and time of year. We apologize that you were disturbed by the function, we try to minimize impact by ensuring our latest function conclusion time is 11pm. We are sorry to hear you felt disappointed by your experience and will consider your thoughts - we value customer feedback greatly. Kind regards, The HGI Busselton Team

We visited on opening day and stayed for two days.
Amazing location right next to Busselton jetty. We got parked easily but it looked pretty full the time we were there. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and spacious. The shower was excellent too.
We did the buffet breakfast on both days, a good selection of cold and hot, hot was a little luke warm so eat quickly!

All in all a really great stay, great nights sleep and we would stay here again.
