This would be the neatest, cleanest park we have seen on our travels for a long time. Our site was very easy to find and easy to back into. The service on checking in was excellent and the lady on duty spent a bit of time giving us extra information on the not to miss points of interest in Busselton and surrounding areas. The rates were excellent compared to other parks in Busselton, the amenities were good and the general atmosphere around the park was friendly and accommodating. Yep, I would come back here.

Family of 5 stayed on a powered caravan site for 5 nights. Park was very busy with families and there are a lot of permanent residents. Although other travellers were courteous over the new year break, the park itself is on a busy road and it was very hard to relax with little ones. The bathrooms weren’t cleaned from Friday to Monday morning; no toilet paper and just filthy. You would think in peak season the bathrooms would be cleaned at least once a day. No office open on weekends to let them know.
On a positive note, park is located central to town and close to beach. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

We are travelling around Australia and we did not realise that there was a long weekend in WA recently. We booked in here and got charged over $400.00 for 2 people on a powered site. The toilets and showers were not cleaned all week and half way through the stay I had to ask for toilet paper in the ladies toilet.
The laundry was disgusting, I even went into town to do my washing.

Response from robert johnston, General Manager at Busselton Holiday Village

Hi there, Thank you for your feed back. As I don't have your booking details I am unable to see exactly what you have been charged. I am not sure how you got to $400 as we only charge $80 per night for up to 4 people for a powered site with a 3 night minimum.Y You may have stayed much longer. These prices are very reasonable for long weekends. Our amenities are cleaned daily, although my apologies f regarding the toilet paper. We have addressed this with the cleaner. Regards Busselton Holiday Village

We are kind of a regular visitor to this Holiday Village, we stayed previously in this chalet called Jarra and twice in Jacaranda so familiar with park. Its been unfortunate that twice we stayed in the Jacaranda and both times its hasn't been thoroughly clean. This last visit the floor looks dirty and the toilet stunk of pee (urine). When i made a complaint the night manager Rob even said its smells. He did a good job of cleaning the toilet n also offered to mop the floor. The water was black and he agreed the whole floor is filthy.
The worst thing is with the toilet there was a seal on the toilet seat saying toilet been Hygienically Clean ( see Picture)
We really like staying here but I seriously i think the owner needs to know the cleaner are not doing their job n needs a good talking to or be replace.

Honestly the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. The owner gives WHITE TOWELS and if you stain them you have to pay $10?? The pool is absolutely disgusting, there are bugs, leaves, sand, no chlorine in the pool, there were frogs everywhere and a bunch of hair. Whoever cleans the rooms does a very terrible job. My sheets had dirt all over them, i honestly think they don’t even wash any of the bedding. The room that me and my friend slept in was added on, it had a window connected to another room, the roof was made of styrofoam, the floor wasn’t glued down at all, the bunk beds looked like they were about to break. Also another thing about the pool is that when we got out of it all of my friends had red dots all over us. Some of the ruddiest people stay here, it was honestly feral. Do better and stop slacking!!!

We have been coming here for the long weekend in March for 5 years, but sadly we wont be back. We stayed for 4 nights and during that time only one of the ablution blocks was cleaned once (there are 2 within the same block). I found feces on the floor of the toilet block that wasnt cleaned and it was still there when I checked out 2 days later. I have never stayed anywhere where the toilets were so filthy and to be charged $70 a night for 2 people for a powered campsite is a joke. It is not acceptable to be subjected to such unclean areas and especially so when we are in the middle of a pandemic. We have already booked to stay in Busselton next long weekend in March and for a much cheaper price, so do yourself a favour and look around as there are far better places to stay.

We stayed in the Rivergum chalet and from the moment we stepped inside it was one disappointment after another. Here are the worst of the problems, oven didnt work properly, hotplate not working, broken and damaged vertical blinds, microwave dirty, oven trays filthy, dead bugs and baby cockroaches on the kitchen bench, hair in the kitchen cupboards, ashtray full of cigarettes butts, old and worn bedding, keys to locks not working, flyscreens with holes in them, we had to fix the rollers on 2 sliding flyscreen doors just to be able to come in and out. Much more minor but annoying issues too. 80% of the complex is permanent residence for over 55's and it is very quiet so I wouldn't recommend it for families with young kids. Friends stayed in another chalet and they was quite aged and worn as well. This chalet and much of the complex needs a good overall and renovation. Never again

Booked a 2 bedroom self contained chalet for three of us. Everything needed is in kitchen, nice verandah, comfy furniture . Very clean and tidy. Close enough to town and would stay again with our group. Not sure if single cheap accomodation is available as I would be interested if so.
