Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a find. Beautiful, traditional guest house, huge. Lovely bedroom, en suite shower. Superb gardens. Great breakfast, very warm welcome. Barbecues, pizza oven, hot-tub. Spacious shade area lounges. About 300 metres from the beach, 15 minute walk from Busselton jetty. Perfect!

We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed it. Close to the beach for a swim and walking distance to the center of Busselton, and if you want you can walk alongside the beach The house has a garden we used in the evenings for relaxing. Mike, the owner, is so helpful and friendly. Serving a tasteful breakfast and gave us valuable tips of what to do in the area. We really recommend to stay here. //Göran & Monica

After a great experience here a couple of years ago I booked again and was not disappointed. Our host Mike welcomed us like old friends and even offered to drive us to our evening event. Which he did in style. The place is well maintained and we spent the afternoon in the lovely garden relaxing.

Had such a lovely getaway - just a quick break for 2 nights. Mike is just the best host - in 2 nights you felt like a family member. Mike was friendly, helpful, gave some ideas of things to do and cooks the best breakkie! But my partner and I still had a lot of time on our own at the house, we played pool and some games in the games room, chilled out in the lounge and in our room - location was fantastic, we walked down to the jetty, and for dinner which was a lovely walk, peaceful and quiet Exactly a lovely quiet break which is what we were after and felt very at home at the guest house! It’s was cool at night but we were very cosy and warm in the house and our room. Nothing to fault! We will return! Thanks so much

Warm ( in winter), spacious and atmospheric, this guest house has much to offer. The guest kitchen sports a super coffee machine. There is a very comfortable lounge, AND a great poolroom. It is conveniently located. The breakfasts are outstanding. ( No kettle in room but kitchen is good.)

This place is a little gem run by two of the nicest and most hospitable people you will ever meet. The rooms are cozy and well appointed and the living and outdoor areas are lovely. You're made to feel at home while also being given as much space as you need. Breakfasts are great and you're walking distance to everything in good old Busso as well as being just a block from the beach.

Our extended family came over for a wedding, and this was our home base. Was perfect for the number of people we had, individual rooms with ensuites and individual AC in most of them (others were linked to the house AC system) Mike was an excellent host, showed us where everything was, helped us with a big bbq following the wedding (Though I don’t think he ate anything!) Would definitely stay again.

I've stayed here twice now and I'll be back. Mike and Beth are warm and welcoming hosts - you can expect a yummy breakfast in the morning, friendly chatter, and plenty of info about the area if you ask for it. The rooms are very comfortable, and the common areas are inviting. How nice is it to go for an early morning walk, come back, and breakfast has been cooked for you.
