Family reunion over Christmas and We had a good time, indoor pool was an asset with young children, good to have a variety of communal spaces & a bedroom per couple/family with ensuite. However, quite a lot of maintenance needs to be done...bit run down. Not enough resources provided for time frame. Frustrating to have to follow up receipt of payments a number of times and took 4 weeks to get bond refund. We won’t book again.

We were part of a group spending a few days there. This is a delightful property, well located close to town but with lots of rules! As a group we found the kitchen offered to us (the one bedroom apartment) was inadequate to cater on the premises. The indoor pool was cold - why have an indoor pool if it is not heated? There were no decent sized wine glasses available and some rooms did not have wine glasses at all. Room supplies were not replenished. On the plus side the rooms were comfortable and clean. The campfire area was great and private. Whereas the pavilion area is quite close to the road and neighbouring houses, and could not be used past 9pm. A nice spot but beware of the limitations.

Our group of 7 couples enjoyed a fabulous relaxing weekend here after having to postpone twice due to COVID restrictions. Suzanne and Peter went out of their way to ensure when we finally got our stay away that everything was as perfect as could be. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with all mod cons. Communal areas are well laid out with all the amenities you could want … BBQ, large Fridge, plenty of plates/cutlery etc. The surroundings are spacious and beautifully located with the Tuart Forest and very close to Busselton and surrounding districts for wine tasting or beach exploring. We have rebooked for another 3 day stay in 2022 …

Came for some peace and quiet and we surely got it in this adults only mini resort among the last remaining tuart trees on the planet. Straight away we noticed how very clean the whole place was. We stayed in the apartment and everything we needed was provided. There is a indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, pool table, bbq facilities and a log fire in winter for guests to use. If you want a very peaceful, relaxing break in a forest setting and only 5-6 minutes north of Busselton this place is highly recommended

We arrived at the inn, and got a free upgrade. BRILLIANT. Suzanne was so pleasant and freindly. Inn the Tuarts is a wonderful, secluded property. Our room was very comfortable, with everything needed for a stay. The one thing that is a bonus - is no children under 12 years. The veiw's are spectacular. We sat on the verandah enjoying cheese and wine from Capel Vale winery. Perfect end to the we day. This is one hidden GEM that you must try. You have the use of spa, sauna and indoor swimming pool.

We were in Bussselton for the tennis and decided to spend the night there. The pictures looked good and the price was ok. We had a room with indoor pool view, that were upgaraded! So there must be one worse than the one we had. The place is old and tiring. To go the the room we had to go through an old-style living area and then the pool area. The pool area is also BBQ area! and there are tables and chairs. But at the pool itself there is no single place to hang a towel! There is a spa at the back that is also old and it has an overdose and chlorine. The glass pool fence is fragile and ugly. There is no good ventialation in the area at all. We went for a dip, but I was not feeling confortable to put my head under water. Our room had no fresh air. There was a door close to the bathroom that we were able to open but everything in that area was dirty and full of leaves. As there was a wall between that door and the bedroom, there was not enough air to circulate. In that corridor there is an old fridge, no fresh milk and there were glasses with coffee and 2 biscuits. I would have not dare to eat those biscuits, who know how long were they there. There were spider webs in the bedroom that the web went straight to the lamp. Also spiders in the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower can be null if someone else in another room is showing. Interesting thing is that it is a B&B with NO free breakfast. There was a surcharge for the breakfast but we did not see any activity, so I do not even think that there was a chef, making this "delicios 3 course breakfast" as advertised. The bathroom was old and the light in the bathroom shocking bad. On top of that there are signs everywhere where you are suppose to put things and what you are suppose to do and not to do. The location is in the nature but also away from everything. We have been in many remote places and this is not a real remote one. We are surprised about the great reviews and what upset me the most is that is classified as 4 star accommodation. I guess the stars do not mean anything. We are not coming back. Also if we did not pay a big amount, the place was not value for us at all. I could hardly have a good night sleep, breathing through the air from the air-con. This place is in serious need of renovation and needs to be more functional.

Hello Alex - we apologise if we were not to your liking and clearly you have vented your displeasure at great length. For those reading this review, we do offer a continental breakfast which is at a small fee and delivered to your room. We do not advertise a 3 course breakfast and we have no idea where Alex got this idea from. She did not want breakfast but wanted the cheapest room at the lowest price and even with a discount was still not happy when we upgraded her and reduced the nightly rate $35. It was not enough - she was trying to get a full refund so there was not one thing that she liked. Alex seemed unhappy from the moment of arrival and we are not at all surprised by her review - we were expecting this. We didn't cave in and give her a full refund that she was after. Many of her comments are either simply not true or put in such a negative way as to justify a full refund. We have not had many who have done this and the first time we were so shocked that we did refund the guest but after years in the accommodation business, we can see it coming our way. If there is a problem, we will do everything in our power to rectify and make our guests comfortable. As much as we try, there are some who matter what we do to accommodate their every need and whim, will never be happy but as the public can see from our many many reviews from over 10 years and many return guests, most are happy with our place and what we do. We will not use this forum to respond to all her comments as our reviews speak for themselves and we are happy to speak to anyone who would like clarification or wants to discuss any of the comments made by Alex. There are many photos on our website that shows our sparkling near new glass pool fencing, lounge area with Italian leather lounge and pool table, log fire etc. our indoor pool area is 250m2 and yes it does have an indoor stainless steel hooded BBQ with teriyaki plate and side burner as well as an outdoor one on the 50m2 pavilion. Our website is less than 12 month old as we updated all our photo and our site so you can see for yourselves. Please call us at the lodge if you require any assistance or clarification. PS Since writing this review, Alex has continues to post negative reviews everywhere she can and this is now getting ridiculous. We are not going to respond to her fantastical story - we wished that we had never met her or had her stay - we have never experienced such a vitriolic and deranged response from a guest in 11 years in this business. We did not give her a refund - that was the problem and it is only getting worse - please stop this Alex or we will have to take action to stop you from harassing us and our business.

I guess what struck me most about this place was how clean it was. It looked as though it had just been built and decorated for us! Well done to the staff for keeping it in such pristine condition. You’d need a car to stay here but it was delightful. Very peaceful and relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable and everything we needed was supplied.

Hello Winnie and thank you so much for a stellar review. We were delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and we have passed on your comments to our staff who take great pride in their work. Yes you do need a car but only a 5 minute drive to the town center and about 35 minutes from Margaret River town with so much to see and do on the way. We can give you the best tips with our local knowledge and a few days in the region is simply not enough. By the way, most of the wineries are actually in the Busselton area - it is warmer and sunnier - perfect for grape vines. We hope to welcome you back soon. Take care and all the best, Suzanne and Peter

Room 8 Inn The Tuarts--Peace, tranquility, and birds under the Tuart Trees staying at sensational Inn The Tuarts Lodge in the ONLY surviving Tuart Tree Forrest in The World! Our room (One low double bed and one single) was excellent with safety rails in the bathroom and fully equipped for the disabled. Breakfast was terrific in the room--cornflakes, fresh, fresh fruit salad, milk and toast with jam. There is a shop (Coles Express) about ten minutes towards Busselton for anything you need and the Hosts- Suzanne and Peter Keynes are delightful and very helpful for enythg\ing you might need. We lunched at The Busselton Jetty with my Sister Glenys at The Goose (Also outstanding for lunch dinner and breakfast) on the new waterfront The Inn In The Tuarts also has an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor barbeque area and beautiful garden covered in trees as far as you can see UP! Highly recommended
