What a fabulous place to stay. About 3km from Busselton so car needed but peaceful and relaxing. We had a king room which was huge, clean very comfortable and well stocked Bed huge with high quality bedding and the en-suite had the thickest fluffiest towels I’ve seen in a long time. The kitchen area was small but only used to prepare breakfast and then sat on patio to eat. Alex, the owner was very helpful and welcoming. This is a working farm but there is no noise to worry about and you can walk around it. The gardens are really lovely. As we were the only guests there for our short stay we had some access to a beautiful lounge at the back of the property where we didn’t time relaxing in the evening. A truly wonderful So much so we have rebooked

The large estate was an excellent venue for a family retreat. The large bedrooms easily suited all nine adults. The scene view of the vasse river, the orchard, and the paddocks were amazing. The entire family enjoyed the relaxing feel of the accommodation

We have been to Fairlawn Estate twice now. My husband and I first travelled to Fairlawn Estate in September 2019 in the King Suite. We loved the serenity that much that we organised our 40th wedding anniversary with family for the first weekend of February 2020. It was fantastic to have us all stay in the one place. Our dinner was also catered for by a young chef that was recommended and organised by the owner Alex. All In all, we loved both visits to Fairlawn Estate. we shall be back!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom heritage listed cottage at Fairlawn Estate mid week with our two kids. — What a beautiful spot, close to Busselton beaches and town and easy to get to from Perth. The Estate is so great for children, my daughter absolutely loved collecting fallen oranges from the orchard and feeding the cows and watching the abundance of wildlife - birds, rabbits and lizards. The cottage itself was clean and beds super comfortable with private bathroom outside of the building but easy to get to. Only downside was bin had not been emptied from prior stay and cleaning products where not great if cooking for self (no spare sponges, wipes, bin bags etc) and more tea bags would have been great. Overall a fab stay though. Thanks

Hi Katie, We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Fairlawn Estate. It really is a labour of love for our family, and to hear other peoples enjoyment brings a smile to us. Most importantly, thank you for your valuable feedback. In regard to the cleaning products available, we will look at what was available during your stay and improve that area in the kitchen. Finally in regard to the bin situation, we are absolutely appalled to hear that you had un-emptied bins upon check-in. That is definitely not good enough for our standards. If you come across any situation like that again, please let someone know so that they can rectify the situation expeditiously. We look forward to hosting both you and your family again sometime. Take care and stay safe. Alexander Walker

Beautiful home, well kept. Hosts are lovely, enjoyed the peaceful picturesque views! My dog loved it too! Views from most of the many windows, great for a family break, close to shops, beach and dunsborough. Would definitely recommend it as a holiday escape, it is so private away from close neighbours.

I had a wonderful stay at Fairlawn. It was really close to town and the setting was beautiful with the farm and garden surrounds. Wishing I’d stayed for more than a night. My room had a sweet little garden in the foyer which I loved. The room was clean and had classy plantation/colonial style furnishings. Also had little touches like a coffee machine which was nice. Alex was helpful with check in and suggestions for things to do in the area. Overall, had a great stay.

What a picturesque estate with an ample amount of space. There were 13 of us and we couldn't make use of the whole house even if we tried! A few minutes from Busselton Jetty and the main strip, what a nice place to be at. Once you go back to the estate, it's like you're in a rural area. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Fairlawn estate for 4 days and it absolutely took our breath away, such a rich history. The estate grounds are immaculate and the rooms are spotlessly clean, a credit to everyone. Going to miss the quietness and Frank the goat.

Our stay at the homestead has been very memorable. To have such an iconic heritage-listed building available for accommodation is a truly unique opportunity. The furnishings and amazing collection of heirloom articles is magnificent. The outstanding presentation is a credit to you both. Your hospitality and attention to detail was much appreciated All of the chefs you kindly organised were outstanding. Breakfast by Events by the Bay
Sunday night ”A Good Night In” Griegg and Juliet Olsen from Olsen’s Catering
Jacqueline’s interactive Cocktail Evening was a highlight. The children both young and old enjoyed the hands-on experience..I highly recommend Catering by Jacqueline.
Wednesday night's seven-course degustation birthday celebration was outstanding George Cooper is the Rock Star of the foodie community in the South West. He is creative and flamboyant in the kitchen. This menu stood out with an amazing presentation of delicious food The slow-cooked egg presented in a jar of smoke being the highlight of the evening and absolutely delicious And his version of ”chocolate yogo” was nothing like the store-bought product. Decedent and delicious.
Friday night’s BBQ by the firepit was fun. The mobile kitchen by Supper RD catered with aplomb more than enough delicious food. Saturday lunch catered for with left overs and delicious lemon meringue tarts as car snacks on the way home.
All that said, were blown away by the Your outstanding, Five Star property We will recommend it to all of our friends We will definitely be back for an adult getaway with friends
