RAC Busselton Holiday Park is located on the doorstep of Busselton and Dunsborough. It is unique as it is nestled within 8ha of natural bush-land but only a short 300 metre stroll to the white sands and crystal clear waters of Geographe Bay. Relax in the leafy natural surroundings of Peppermint trees with huge areas of wide open spaces so you can stretch out. All our caravan and camping sites are grassed and are of a generous size to accommodate large vans and motor homes. Our holiday park was redeveloped in 2005 with new roads and facilities which makes it first class.

Busselton RAC Caravan Park was superb.
Very well kept and maintained park. Toilets, showers, laundry are all cleaned frequently and in good condition.
The communal kitchen has an air fryer and coffee pod machine.
There are several bbq stations around the park.
Activities for kids is endless!
There is a large games room with a variety of gaming consoles.
2 ping pong tables, ice hockey table, board games, undercover jumping pillow, 2 gated playgrounds, one nature playground, volley ball net, basketball court, footy oval, an older style mini golf course, pump track, lake, pedal go karts with a loop and 2 swimming pools.
You can use sporting equipment from the front desk.
You could stay at the park the entire trip!
Staff are helpful and friendly.
There is a pet friendly section in the park as well.
We will definitely return.
Thank you for a wonderful easy trip.

First time to Busselton for us, at first I thought it was a little far out from the center of Busselton. However with the little suburb of Vasse growing we had the convenience of a Coles within a 2 min drive vs a 10 min drive into the center of town. It also positioned us great for access down to dunsborough and the south brewery/winery region that we toured through. The beach was a 5 min walk across Caves Rd and we had some perfect conditions. The Park itself was well fitted out. We had a 1 bedroom chalet that also contained a set of bunk beds in the walk through hallway, was clean and well fitted out. The play area for the kids was great, and although we didn’t use it the swimming pool area looked lovely and was kept clean. The Laundry room in the center of the park was nice large and clean.
Definitely plan to return.

We were booked in here for a week mid June for a break from our tent and as the weather was getting very wet and a bit cold. After a couple of days we had to remind ourselves what day it was and that we didn’t actually live here as we’d settled into this lovely space so easily. It looks like an older build which has been revamped on the inside and they’ve done a great job. It’s clean, comfortable and well equipped for two people. The bed, bedding and towels were good, good water pressure and hot water and the kitchen area and equipment provided were more than sufficient. The room was also very clean and well presented. It seemed nicer in reality than the pictures on the website. The room also has a substantial covered outdoor area, great for keeping our bikes out of the rain but also would have been great shade if we’d seen any sun whilst we were here!! The staff here were also great whilst we were booking, making sure we accessed the best price possible. Highly recommended.

Our family of four stayed for a week at the RAC Holiday Park in a two bedroom bungalow in mid December. This is importat to know as the per night rate averaged out to over $300. This would be acceptable for a Quest 2 bed room serviced apartment or a luxury getaway at the Crown Casino, but this was a demountable cabin in a caravan park. The bungalow was clean and the linen fresh. My wife and I found the main bed comfortable. The bungalow has only a single split system air conditioner. The bedrooms are not air conditioned. The kitchen was quite well equipped for self catering. The stove top was moderately clean. It is important to note that the bungalows do not have built in laundry facilities. Laundry facilities are the same as those available for all the caravan park guests. The washers and dryers are commercial coin operated machines. The grounds are quite well maintained and there are plenty of things around the park for the kids to do, although the games (air hockey, table top video games) need maintenance. The park is safe, allowing the kids to roam/ride free range. The park has two pools adjacent to each other. Both were well maintained.
While my family and I enjoyed our time at the park, we felt that it was overpriced for what was a well appointed caravan park.

We stayed in the triple studio room for 4 Nights. Clean rooms, perfect for 2 adults and a toddler. We loved the caravan park, it was neat and tidy, cant fault the staff, they were all so lovely. Easy check in and out. My little boy loved the bike track. The bouncing pillow was never free from big kids so we couldnt get him on there. There were some rough kids in the play ground picking on other kids and not being careful around toddlers so we avoided the playgrounds after that. He loved riding his bike around the streets. We tried using the pools but again there was a group of 7-8 older boys bombing and going between both pools so we left. Id suggest avoiding peak season with little kids. Its quiet loud at night time too depending who you have near you. Hard to get littlies to sleep.
We liked that it wasnt in the centre of town too.

On arrival at RAC holiday park Busselton there was a technical problem with the cabin we had booked, the staff attended quickly and when it was determined it couldn’t be fixed immediately they really worked hard to find us alternative accommodation in the park which suited our requirements. The park is well maintained and well located, we have stayed many times as a couple and in family groups using a combination of camp sites and cabins. No doubt we will be back highly recommended.

Dear Sue, We appreciate the time you have taken to provide such valuable feedback. First of all, I'd like to apologise for the initial experience you had with your accommodation on arrival. There's nothing we dislike more than unplanned maintenance faults. I am so very happy to hear that our team were able to source you alternative accommodations on site. We are very much looking forward to your return to our park, with family and friends in tow! Thankyou once again.

Smallest caravan site weve encountered in WA. Sitting on top of each other. Tents stuck in between caravans. Hopeless
Old,old toilets. You cant sit on the seat properly as the blue waste bin intrudes into the seat area and you cant move the bin temporarily as the actual stall is so small.
Old. Toilets stunk
In desperate need of upgrading and a good planner to redesign the caravan sites which can accommodate todays van sizes and cars.
For the sum of $78 per night its never worth it. Obviously making the most of it charging huge prices coz 'they can'
Couldnt in this instance, recommend.

Relaxing stay, nice surroundings, awesome social atmosphere, probably would have been better for glamping instead of the small cabin. Otherwise the grounds were kept in excellent shape and with our kids we spent many evenings on the inflatable sandpit thing. With the cabins, its hard to walk quietly without waking up sleeping kids, very annoying when you need to go loo in middle of night.

What a lovely experience to arrive at such a friendly clean welcoming chalet. Beds comfy and really bright rooms. Well equipped had heating and air con too. Shower/toilet area clean and bright. Games room was enjoyed by family too. As were the free use of mini golf and other children’s activities. Cleaning ladies (so sorry can’t find little card you left with names) always bustling about and so very helpful. Even on day we left got a phone call saying that we’d left a small but loved Teddy if we wanted to pop back to pick it up. (Which we did as hadn’t gone far) So caring and efficient. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and to return. Thank you to all of you.

Dragged the caravan (The anchor)out of mothballs after 12 years and decided on Busselton for our test run from Perth. An easy cruise along the highway with no big hills or tiny, bendy roads.
2 adults. Powered, ensuite site. 5 nights

Chose RAC Caravan Park Busselton for the ideal location (and member discount). It's only 10 minutes from Busselton township for regular shopping stuff. We've stayed at Busselton previously so didn't need to be close to tourist stuff. The location made the trip to Margaret River and other South West tourist spots that bit closer and quicker when driving.

The park itself was ideal. Off peak season so it wasn't crowded. Of the ammenities we used, they were all kept well maintained and clean, tidy.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Loss of Hot water was quickly resolved with a gas tank change.
There seems to be lots of stuff to keep kids occupied.

Hint.. if you book an ensuite site, they are all reverse in parking.
Ask for an even number. This puts your caravan door next to the ensuite door

Hi Simone, Ideally, our pool temperature is to set as 27°C, but the weather could affect the water temperature. For Sept/Oct school holiday activities, we are still working on the full schedule. But we will have a series of activities for International Talk Like A Pirate Day! I hope this helps! Kind Regards, Shelby - Customer Care

Hi when we stay here we are in our motorhome so the answer to your question I can't help with. Perhaps calling the park is the best way to find out details of this option.
