Clean and Comfy as the title says. It’s aged but I believe underwent a refurb. It is very clean and the beds are comfortable. Late check-in keys are stored in a safe box. Don’t believe there’s any instruction on how to access their wifi which is a let down. It has its own restaurant on-site, Lime 303 which is handy. Free parking available but it’s first come best dressed. A letdown was the curtain which was translucent, so the outside could potentially see in.

Just stayed for the one night while in town for work. Easy check in, good parking right outside the room. The room itself was spacious with a little balcony - being up high (Top level) it offered a great breeze in the afternoon. There was plenty of milk for a few coffee's which is always appreciated. The room was clean and the bathroom was also a good size and clean. The bed was wonderful, so comfy and I had the best night sleep. I ordered room service and had dinner in my room. The Scotch Fillet with a creamy garlic sauce and vegies was delicious - asked for it to be cooked to medium and, it actually was delivered that way - beautiful meal and very much appreciated after a long day. Easy key drop off in the morning as I left early. Would stay here again for sure.

We stayed two nights here during our stay in Albany. Relatively expensive considering the dated room. It was like we stepped into a 70’s movie set!!! Was however clean, and bed was comfortable, friendly staff and great breakfast. I would insist on an updated balcony room if staying

We had a lovely time at The Dog Rock over Christmas. Fantastic location with short walk to main street. Our room was huge with plenty of room to spread out. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was great. The attached restaurant, Lime 303, was so good we went several times. So handy when so many places were closed over Christmas.

I was a bit apprehensive when making a booking here, however, I was not disappointed. A great motel which was clean , had all the necessary amenities and toiletries accompanied with most establishments. The staff were very helpful and accomodating. A lovely stay here in Albany. Rooms were very clean and had a safe, tvs, iron , hair dryer and mini kitchen in our superior room and not forgetting a big spa bath which was used after long hikes.

Suffering from not being able to travel out of the state we decided to do a few days in Albany. Chose the wrong weekend - it was Show Day and bookings were heavy. When we checked into the Motel the receptionist was truly first class and went out of her way to describe things to do, what to avoid etc etc. Breakfast was great and way better than I was expecting. The room. Mixed feelings here as the price paid vs star rating was a little inconsistent, but hey - it was a busy time. Other than that it was great, well serviced, clean and a good size. I do recommend the motel.

Clean motel and helpful friendly staff. Towels and room are changed/ cleaned daily. Breakfast and mini bar were included in our package. Bed was comfortable. We had a good stay and can’t complain. Motel is close to town, shops and bars. A walking distance - 10 mns or so

Instead of going to a restaurant away from the motel we stayed on both nights at their award winning restaurant. The menu was fairly pricey but the food lived up to its reputation. Because we came to Albany on the TransWA bus we had to walk a long distance to the motel. But if you had your own transport this would not be a problem. The motel is very near to the rock that looks very much like the head of a dog.

good location, good restraunt/bar onsite and full buffet breakfast included with booking was great. BUT. The room we were given was SO OLD and outdated we were shocked! We paid $200 a night, which was SO OVERPRICED for what we got. It looked like it was from the 50s. The bathroom was old, the furniture was old and worn. The room stunk like cleaning products so bad that we had to leave the door open for a while to get some air in. This place has alot of potential if it puts some money into fixing the rooms up! The property is good and restraunt onsite was great! Would go back, but would stay in a nicer room if they had them.
