Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely BNB, very nice and clean off street parking and a very comfortable bed. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choices and all fresh and yummy. Joanne really looked after us and was always happy to help with anything. It it a short walk to Middleton beach and an about 8 minutes from the city centre and just a short walk to the golf course. A perfect place to stay

What can I say Sally and Craig are the most amazing hosts nothing is too much trouble. The rooms were wonderful and the best breakfast we had all the time we were in Australia. So many lovely little touches from the port you could help yourself too and the wonderful home cooked treats that arrived in the afternoon. In a funny way hoping our daughter decides to stay longer in Perth just so we can come back for another visit. Can’t recommend highly enough just make sure you stay a few days. You won’t want to leave!!!

Good: The Beach House at Bayside is in a cul-de-sac with a few other houses near to the beach. To get to the beach you go down the end of the cul-de-sac, down a cycle path and across some dunes before you can actually see the sea. Not so good in the dark but the sandy beach is worth going to and stretches a long way from emu point and back to Albany. Good nights sleep once we turned the fridge off. Spiders in the shower were an added bonus. No breakfast at the Beach House, apparently due to covid, but they gave us vouchers to Emu Point Cafe which is about a mile down the road where we got a decent breakfast in an impressive location. Up early for breakfast next day but no one around so headed off without breakfast. Not so good: TV in inconvenient place. Fridge made a loud noise. Path to beach felt a bit isolated. Didn’t seem very friendly.

This is a very nice B&B in a suburban/golf course area of Albany, close to the beach... but not very close to anything else (town or restaurants). Lovely welcome and most friendly staff. Nice cozy and comfortable room. If you are into jacuzzi baths, it protrudes half way into the bedroom. Slightly odd. Well equipped and even with a complementary glass of port before going to bed. Breakfast is nicely presented and delicious. We were given lots of information about what to see in and around Albany, which proved very welcome the next day. The only real drawback of this otherwise fine B&B being that one has to rely on one's own car to go out to dinner.

We were recommended to the Beachouse at Bayside by our travel agent, who just said that it was the best place to stay in Albany. He was right! We were looked after brilliantly, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The house is very well situated, just a few minutes walk from the beach, and while it is some way from the centre of the Town, Craig and Sally drove us to our restaurant on the first night, and arranged a complementary taxi for us on the second. The room was quiet and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and there is even a decanter of port outside your room for a late-night top-up. We loved it! And we would recommend it like a shot to anyone needing a bed in Albany.

What a great Place The bayside is to stay. We went on tripadvisor reviews and weren’t disappointed. Craig is a good host and was helpful in finding and reserving a restaurant for dinner for us when we arrived late afternoon. The room was comfortable with a large bathroom and good a/c. The small touches of port and brownies were welcomed too. The breakfast was superb especially the poached eggs. Although we only stayed 1 night we would happily return if we were in Albany again in the future.

We arrived late and hosts Sally & Craig provided us with the most amazing welcome. They helped us with our cases and showed us around our lovely two storey room which was beautifully furnished, very clean and very spacious. The attention to detail was excellent. Tea coffee bottled water, bathroom stocked with nice toiletries and we soon settled in to enjoy a glass of the complimentary Port (along with the complimentary bottle of wine) that was also provided in the room along with afternoon cakes as well. Craig even offered to drop us off or pick us up from the local restaurant, that's service. Breakfast was cooked freshly to order each morning and the staff were more than happy to offer help and advice on sight seeing and dining out.
