This well located nineteenth century establishment has 4 rooms but seems more like an art gallery. Craig the owner is a knowledgeable collector, and his artistic flair permeates the rooms. The upstairs room is the best, and it is very spacious with great views. A delicious cooked breakfast is included, cooked to perfection, and with quality gourmet peripherals. Car parking for each room. No wifi however, although it can be picked up from nearby public networks from front rooms. But this is where we would return to unquestionably when visiting Albany

Craig is a welcoming host & we loved our stay at the eclectic Three Chimneys B & B. Our room was spacious, fastidiously clean and crammed with a fabulous collection of art, antiques & books - did I mention the view across the port & Albany Arts Center? Great location, in easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants and shops. Highly recommended this gem!!

Craig is a wonderful host.
Everything about this place is just one wants when visiting Albany to add to the experience.
The rooms, beds, decor and continental breakfast prepares one for a short walk to everything Albanys town has.
I will return.

The B and B itself is comfortable and fortunately close proximity to town. The owner the less said, alarming and present only when necessary, either present and making a lot of noise or not present at all. Breakfast is tastefully done but you can't do a day's sightseeing on cereal and toast, you need to go to a cafe to top up. Again, you need to find a cafe to connect to wifi, as there is none. All in all some good things but room for improvement.

We stayed for 3 nights earlier this year. We found the owner to be obnoxious and rude to us for asking about the breakfast menu. We decided to have breakfast at nearby Kate's Place.
Sorry but I would not recommend this establishment. There are friendlier hospitality businesses in Albany.

Fabulously central location just off Albany’s main strip. We really enjoyed the wonderfully quirky and interesting art and curio collection throughout the house. Friendly hosts and a great breakfast. We were reminded of how beautiful Albany is and we’ll be back.

The Universe shined on us when we found this gem. We have stayed a few motels and even a cabin at Emu Park in Albany but never again. This will be our go to place forever. Craig is a delight. The whole cottage and the rooms are stunning and decorated so beautifully. The location is also a winner.

Unfortunately only one night here in the centre of Albany. The old cottage, built many decades ago, had been very competently restored by the current owners. The additions were faithfully in keeping with the character of the original building and the mixture of old and new was pleasing and not contradictory. Antique furniture and modern music - high ceilings and air conditioning. A comfortable ambience. Breakfast was traditional cooked fare after fruit, cereals and yoghurt. An unusual but tasty innovation was asparagus spears with the bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms. A colourful touch.
Craig was friendly, informative and obviously a great cook.
Three Chimneys was but a stagger away from the famous Earl of Spencer tavern ( many good ales on tap) and the best of Albany's many great restaurants (including Dylan's, our favourite). Great stay, great food - happy!

We stayed three nights at this charming historical cottage.
Our room was one of the front rooms, beautifully decorated with a large en suite.
When we visited, we were the only guests downstairs so pretty much had the cottage to ourselves.
It is brimming with fantastic artworks and memorabilia.
Craig, our host is a treasure and full of anecdotes and interesting information. We had many long conversations about.........anything and everything.
The location is perfect - just around the corner from EVERYthing - shopping, pubs, restaurants, the jetty.
Loved this property and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
