Albany backpackers is the hostel to stay when you're in Albany. It has a great atmosphere and feels more like a giant sharing flat than a hostel. Brandon, the owner, helps you finding a job or with any problem you might have and Mark, the nightmanager, looks after everyone. He helped us a lot even apart from his work time...

I came to Albany for my regional work and have been staying here for over 2 months. Top bunks have curtains! Staff are friendly and helpful. The vibe actually feels like a small family, Jenny and Brendan are always a round to help. Would recommend a visit if you're in the area

Albany backpackers is a great hostel. This is my second time staying here, I have and will continue to recommend it to friends and other backpackers along my travels. It has good bathrooms, TV rooms, table tennis room and 2 kitchens. The hostel is cleaned daily and is always respectfully kept. The staff are great, they will always go out...

Lots of backpackers me included ( more than 6 month) are happy to stay at Albany Backpackers. The friendly stuff is helpful and makes you feel at home while working here at farms or factories. A place where friendship begins and lots memories staying.

Best Hostel I have ever stayed. Great staff and they always can get you a job. They clean the whole hostel everyday so its really clean. The people who stay here are really nice and outgoing. Can just recommend this hostel.
