A hostel as in our travel dreams. Just perfect! We loved the admosphere, the kids loved the cat😍. The location was good. Short walk to the centre. At night nice noisy but at 11 pm complete silence. How great!

Stayed at the hostel for 2 nights while visiting Albany for the first time. Very convenient location, lovely staff, everything you needed. Very well run. Delicious breakfast pancakes an appreciated bonus.

Warm place with huge open chilling area.
Wonderful morning pancakes cooked with care (even gluten free!)
Sort of pricey, but cheap when comparing with others in the area.

Clean - even the beds were obviously mopped under (a rarity).

Affordable price and good rooms. The best thing of backpackers is the loving cat. Bathrooms are clean and tidy even though they are common. And we enjoyed pan cakes. They are really delicious. However, bed sheets should be a light colour.

Good evening. My wife and me are coming by train from Perth to stay in your hotel for two night starting on 13/04/2018. My questions: 1. How to go to your hotel from Albany Railway Station and distance? 2. Can you help us to arrange visiting the best viewpoints.in Albany for the whole day on 14/04/2018? Tq From Leong, Malaysia.
There is no train to Albany, but there’s a coach service from Perth. Bus stop to hostel about 100 metres. Not a problem 😊👍🏼

Hi I'm planning to go there by train by myself. Is there any tour I can join at the moment? I heard tours only start from November ?
Hello Tara, there are no trains to Albany, but you can get here by bus from the east Perth Terminal in Perth or by air. 420 kms south of Perth. There are seven National Parks around Albany so heaps to see, a really beautiful diverse area. There are tours that come around the south coast too if you are short of time. Email us and we can send you all the details you need.
