We were a group of 60 seniors who stayed for a four day Getaway for our Over 55 Walking Association. Couples, and singles. We were well looked after by Joe the owner/manager and his wonderful staff. The rooms are excellent, very clean and serviced every day and many different configurations, so suitable for families, singles and couples. Linen was good quality. The food was delicious. We had breakfasts, lunches and evening meals and the Chef and his staff really looked after us. Situated on the Albany Highway just a short distance from the city area it is very convenient.
As there was hand sanitizer available and Covid regulations being adhered to we all felt very safe.
When we go to Albany again my husband and I will most certainly stay with Joe and his staff again and we will be recommending Motel Le Grande to anyone we know who is heading for Albany and the Great Southern area of WA. Thank you Joe and all of your staff for your kindness and hospitality. We came home knowing we had found a place we could return to again and again .

We stayed here two nights over a weekend. The location is convenient, right as you get into town, a little away from the center, and along the main road. Staff were friendly. The restaurant here appears quite popular given the amount of diners. Our rooms were rather average; we had a two bedroom apartment, and everything looked quite tired and old. The curtain rod in one bedroom, for example, fell down easily, and it looked like this had happened many times before. Still, it was quite adequate for our needs, and overall it was worth staying here, although next time we might see if other hotels in the same price range offer slightly more modern facilities.

Another wonderful stay at Motel Le Grand! The dining experience, both in room and restaurant was exceptional. The food was top class and serves a good size, with regular specials to keep you interested! Warm, premises-made Italian bread to enjoy while we checked out the menu was a lovely ‘value add’. We ate there every night the food was so amazing. Rooms are large, modern and spotless with quality beds. Rooms are fully serviced every day. Genuine country hospitality from the initial greeting to final goodbyes. 5 stars all round. Well done to Joe, Nancy and the team. Thanks Guy and Tanya.

We had the pleasure of staying for three nights recently and found the superior room to be large and with everything we needed. After some disappointing accommodation experiences in Albany it was great to find a good clean well serviced and appointed room at an affordable price. Looked impressive on initial impressions however lacked in some areas. Location is quiet however leaving the hotel during peak times may prove problematic. It is located a fair way from the town centre requiring transport. Restrauant was average. Main bedroom lacked suitable place for more than one suitecase. 2 bedroom (4 people) but only 2 chairs supplied. Bathroom was large however the vanity was quite small. Bathroom fan was noisy and dripped moisture. Still a nice place to stay for a couple of days.

Great place to stay in Albany. Spacious rooms, real friendly staff, very quiet and comfortable. We stayed in one of the suites with separate lounge, spacious and well appointed. The room is equipped with small fridge, microwave, plates etc, made for an easy stay

Sixty members of our Over 55 Walking Assoc. recently visited this motel for a five day stay. The rooms were spacious, clean and well stocked with toiletries. Very comfortable, large beds and sofa seating for viewing TV. The food was delicious and plentiful and Joe (the owner/manager) and staff could not do enough for us. I thoroughly recommend this motel for a group of people.

Rooms were spacious, well appointed with a very comfy bed. Food in restaurant was very good with nice selection of meals, including gluten free options though unsure about cc. Glad we ate there instead of driving to go out for dinner. Customer service was fantastic.

I have stayed at this motel every time I have travelled to Albany and found nothing I could fault . The restaurant is well priced and great menu with excellent food . Staff make you very welcome room s there, are very comfortable and well furnished .

Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful! So much damage to the room and especially the bathroom. Bathroom door doesn’t even close, bathroom shower absolutely disgusting and full of dirt. Holes in the wall and major cracks! $115 a night with no wifi or complimentary breakfast. Do not recommend!
