Returned recently from a 3 day birthday break at the Pelicans Albany staying in a 2 x bedroom Premium apartment .
Very clean tidy and modern and I believe the premium apartments are only a few years old .
Balcony , two singles and a double , wooden flooring , downstairs toilet with the main bathroom upstairs ( Shower only ) TV in main lounge area and also upstairs in the main bedroom .
Location is outstanding , 5 mins walk to Middleton Beach where you have 3 x bars on your doorstep along with an award winning chip shop .
Boardwalk scenic walk along the coast is just around the corner along with the Anzac centre .
Very efficient and super friendly staff , only minor negatives would be there is no washing machine /dryer in the premium apartments and only one air con wall unit in the main lounge so not sure how efficient this would be in the heat of the summer or alternatively on a winters night .
Other than that I cannot recommend this place enough and we will definitely be returning .

I recently returned to Pelicans at Middleton Beach Albany. I had stayed at Pelicans a couple of times when my children were young and loved the end 2 bedroom unit for it's size, comforts and lack of stairs (a bonus when travelling with young children). This time my travels were with my Mum on crutches. I was very pleased that the management could put us in the same unit that I had stayed in previously. Obviously over the years they have renovated and added more units, most of which appear to be townhouse style.

The unit met all my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised that a dishwasher had been added to the unit since previous visits. Wonderful not having to worry about washing dishes at the sink. The unit had TV, DVD player, a spacious lounge, dining area and a kitchen with everything you could need. The main bedroom had a queen bed with plenty of powerpoint, I counted eight outlets just in the main bedroom. Plenty os space to charge phones and cameras! The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a cupboard for storage. Both bedrooms had full blockout curtains. This is a must for travelling with babies or toddlers still requiring naps or people who need a dark room. In the complex is a laundry with a coin operated washing machine and dryer.

Under a patio is a barbecue, or better described as an outdoor kitchen. It has plenty of bench space for food preparation and a large sink with hot water. In the cupboards were utensils and cleaning products to clean the barbecue. There is also a table with seating if you prefer to eat near the barbecue. A lovely clean and neat area.

Situated on Golf links road it is a short stroll to Middleton beach with it's scenic boardwalk. It is close to a good quality well priced fish and chip shop and a bar. There is planning for a new shopping complex to be built close by on Middleton Beach. Always a pleasant stay.

The location of Pelicans has easy access to Albany town centre and all tourist spots. We found the 1 bedroom Villa was perfect for our 7 night stay. It was very comfortable with fully fitted kitchen, a washing machine and a comfortable bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Shower only. The reverse cycle Fujitsu airconditioning was a welcome bonus especially for heat during the winter months which made it cosy. The bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the 2nd TV in the bedroom. The complex has a laundry, coin operated (4 x $1 coins for a 30 minute dryer cycle. Not sure why there was not a dryer in our Villa as there is ample room for one above the washing machine!

We stayed in a ground floor unit 1 x 1 with spa bath. Parking is located right at the front. This accommodation had everything we needed for our 3 night stay with a fully functioning kitchenette.
The unit was cleaned to a very high standard with good quality linen and towels supplied. The king bed and pillows were very comfortable.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Very stylish, modern, 1-bedroom, ground floor self-contained unit at the rear of the block. It had a microwave, a very good cooktop but no oven. Plenty of space in the living room and a small outdoor patio with two chairs. There was a washing machine in the laundry, with detergent provided and a dryer ($1 coins, change given by reception) in the adjacent shared laundrette. Parking was next to the units.
The units were very quiet, have very pleasant lawns and gardens and are two blocks from delightful Middleton Beach and in easy walking distance to three restaurants, with a slightly longer walk to a fourth.

We stayed here for 3 nights in February in a Deluxe 3 bedroom 2 bathroom unit. Plenty of room here with all mod cons. Bathrooms were from the 1980s but were clean. Close to Middleton Beach which apparently was under renovations. You are also just down the road from the old Esplanade Hotel site which is still a sand patch. Council please do something.

We stayed in the three bedroom villa at the site entrance for 5 nights. It is well furnished in a modern style with a good open plan kitchen/ dining/ sitting room.
Best bedroom is on the ground floor with en suite spa bath. Upper floor has two bedrooms with a jack and Jill bathroom and a seating area.
Ground floor open plan area is air conditioned but not the bedrooms. It was very hot when we were there so aircon in the bedrooms would have given it 5 stars!
A nice touch was the free daily newspaper and selection of DVDs for guests use.

On arrival at this hotel we discovered a foul horrendous smell within the bathroom. It was so bad we had to put a towel down to the door that connected to the bedroom so that the smell did not escalate in our bedroom. We also cleaned our teeth in the kitchen to avoid having to go in the smelly bathroom.
I reported this to the receptionist who got the cleaners in while we were out but they advised there was no smell but they must have smelt something as they opened the window for anyone to get into our room with all our personal belongings Not Good!!!
Anyway I asked for a change of room but there was non available, the receptionist said she would get the manager to come and see us which he never did. I have since emailed him and heard nothing, I complained to Booking.com regarding the property as I booked it through them but all they have come back with is that The Pelicians will not give any compensation. So if I ever go back to Albany I certinly not be staying at The Pelicians

Pelicans is in an excellent location, just a short walk to beautiful Middleton Beach, cafes and restaurants.
The resort is very clean, modern and comfortable and our one bedroom apartment had a well equipped kitchen, lounge with two couches and spacious bedroom and bathroom. It was also bright and sunny with views of the nearby hills.

We were here for only one night only and were very impressed with the size, standard and location of the accommodation. We were in a two story 2 bed, one bath unit. Small balcony off the bedroom overlooking the garden. All the facilities you need are there.
Walking distance to lovely cafes/bars and Middleton Beach. Would definitely stay again.
As we had to change our booking, due to travel restrictions, we were concerned we might miss out, but we were accommodated and for a few more dollars we were able to stay on the night we needed to.

Yes, the apartment we had was configured as a queen and 2 single beds in the other bedroom. I suggest you give them a call.
