Absolutely loved our five days here. Gracious hostess, wonderful welcome. Delicious breakfasts in a quaint heritage house. Linen, China, fresh flowers from the glorious garden. After each day of exploring Albany and surrounds, especially the ANZAC Museum we would dine out then take a complimentary port in the lounge. Perfectly positioned to walk to various interesting scenic spots. One hint though. Choose room one or two. The so-called Sanctuary, is exactly that. OK for a sleepover which is all you need if a tourist. The ensuite was fine though. Stacks of hot water.

Would recommend it to all travellers who want first-class accommodation. An excellent hostess and has superb hospitality. Great location well within walking distance to the town centre. ps. Pebbles (the cat) makes everyone very welcome too.

Room Tip: The Sanctuary room does not have a window which would have been nice. Try to get one of the other...

We chose Dunmoylen House for its history and location which was spot on. Close to the historical precinct and the Fort. Their gardens were lovely and we had fresh flowers on our table for breakfast each day. There is a communal kitchenette. We booked the front room with the balcony facing the park and harbour - lovely views but the doors did not open ☹. Bed was reasonably comfy but a little small. Continental breakfast was nice. Unfortunately there is a cat that lives and wanders the house so as my husband is highly allergic we had to spend time in our room only when we weren't out touring.

Thoroughly recommend Dunmoylen House, Cheryl the host was attentive but not intrusive, location, view facilities were all wonderful. It was only a short walk into Albany (10 minutes) close to restaurants and cafes and attractions. The little extras provided chocolates and port topped off our delightful stay.

A very nice B & B in a great location. Our room was very comfortable and well presented. The Continental breakfast was very good and the host very welcoming. Being just a short walk to the town centre made it very convenient for our stay.
