Quest Wodonga garners praise for its prime location, which guests find convenient for exploring nearby attractions, shops, and dining options. The hotel's amenities, including modern rooms with comfy furnishings and practical kitchen and laundry facilities, are often highlighted by guests. While the atmosphere is generally seen as contemporary and inviting, some guests have noted unwelcome noise.
Although the rooms are celebrated for their cleanliness and comfort, occasional feedback suggests a need for better coffee amenities. The additional parking fee and overall pricing have raised some concerns among visitors, but the warm and professional service provided by the staff consistently receives accolades.

The one bedroom studio wheelchair accessible apartment was a pleasure to stay in. There was ample room next to the right hand side of the queen bed to park a wheelchair. The large bathroom was fully wheelchair accessible with a left hand transfer toilet with grab rail. The well equipped kitchen is average height and only accessible by parking a wheelchair side facing the cupboards. The unit was very clean, modern, and in a great location - just a 5 minute walk/wheel on concrete paths to the revamped Junction Square (restaurants, groceries and cafes). One of the best wheelchair accessible apartments we've stayed in.

Our stay at Quest Wodonga was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, setting a positive tone for the entire stay. The rooms were spotless, tidy, and very comfortable, with a modern aesthetic that made it feel cozy yet stylish. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout, like the recommendations for local restaurants displayed in the elevator—it made exploring the area so much easier. Honestly, we couldn’t find a single fault with our stay. It was an all-around great experience, and we will definitely be back!

Oh my God!!!! Our stay at Quest Wodonga was absolutely incredible! We stopped here for an overnight stay while travelling from Sydney to Melbourne to break up the trip, and I can’t even begin to explain how perfect it was from start to finish.
From the moment we rolled up to check in, the service was beyond exceptional. The staff were warm and welcoming and genuinely made us feel at home. They were so knowledgeable and helpful, and their hospitality was next level.
The facilities were fantastic, with everything we needed right at our fingertips. The location is super convenient, close to so many local spots, making it easy to grab a meal or stretch our legs. But let me tell you .... the beds we slept on!! Hands down, the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a decade! The room was spotless, comfortable, and so well set up for a relaxing stay.
A special touch that made us smile was the welcome cookies. It was such a thoughtful and generous gesture that made our stay even more memorable.
Honestly, I cannot fault a single thing about our experience. Whether you’re passing through and need a break in Wodonga or planning a longer stay, do yourself a favour and book Quest Wodonga. The service, the comfort, the atmosphere ... oh, everything was perfect. I highly, highly recommend it!

We stayed in Room 110, a Two Bedroom Apartment. It looked like it was in need of a refresh as it looked quite dated. We found a cockroach roaming around so wiped down all the surfaces - the chairs looked liked they'd not been wiped down at all. the wipes came away filthy.
The kitchenette was good, we were able to use the oven, microwave, toaster and electric cooktop. The fridge was full size which was good. Dishwasher came in handy to clean all the dishes, and cutlery. No kitchen scissors though.
Bring your own dishwasher liquid and dishwasher tablets.
Beds were ok and starting to sag in the middle.
The air conditioning worked well and the wall controls were modern.
The bathrooms were sparse, though the coloured lights in the shower head is a quirky touch. Pure Revere toiletries are provided.
Only terrestrial channels on the TV, no netflix or disney+.
Internet was easy to use.
There is a distinct lack of usb ports or accessible power points in the bed rooms.
Also parking is $10 if you want to park your car in their secure car park otherwise you can park outside for free. This should have been made clearer on the website.

Thanks for your comments Liza & Trevor That cheeky cockroach snuck in after the heavy rain looking for some humidity, I am glad we could remove it for you, sometimes (like at home) hotels are subject to the elements so please don't think we let them roam free around our facilities we take our cleaning very seriously! All amenities are provide by our housekeeping team if you ever are in need of additional amenities like dishwasher tablets etc please just ask, we are more than happy to provide more should you need them. Our smart TV's are preset with wifi & offer all the apps you are used to, you simply log onto your account & you can continue to watch your favorite programs or movies just as you would at home. Lastly, we have ample complimentary car space, for our guests wishing to use our undercover secure car space we charge $10 per night. This ensures those who book it don't miss out. This is listed on our websites & all 3rd party sites but if you have any questions during the booking process just give us a call & we will happily help out We hope you enjoyed your time in our region & we look forward to welcoming you again soon! Warmest Natasha

Positive: This is a neat, clean option. The staff are very friendly and helpful, although it could be argued that they lack initiative when something does not go as it should (see below). There is much to like about this hotel, and but for the failing below we would have given it a very good grading.
Negative: We had a number of options on this website for accommodation in Wodonga and Albury. We were unsure about which to choose. This hotel was more expensive than most of the others, but as we were weighing it up my partner pointed out that the Quest room had a "Mountian view" and a "Landmark view" (listed prominently). This sounded enticing, and it was at that point that we decided to book (the booking being "non-refundable"). When we arrived what greeted us out our window was the "view" you can see in the photo attached. There was also a door from the hotel into the area outside our window (adding insult to injury) so there was noise associated with people coming in and out. We could not open our window at night (with would have been great) for fear of making this worse. When we saw the room I immediate went back to reception and noted the discrepancy with what we had booked. The lady said there was no other room that could be offered, and no reduction on the room rate was offered. The next morning, I again raised the matter with the person on duty, and suggested that (if an upgrade was not possible) then a reduction on the room rate would be appropriate. I was simply told this would be passed along. Again, the staff member did not take it upon herself to sort the matter out in the normal way. Utlimately this hotel misrepresented (through an agent) what it had to offer. I am not suggesting this was deliberate, but it was material. If I were so minded I believe I would have a right to compensation for this misrepresentation. But it's just a hotel room, etc. The level at which this should have been handled is what I would call "business common sense": when something has gone wrong, make it right. They shoudl have made a relatively small gesture to put everyone back in a fair position. This is not rocket science and should not have been diffciult for Quest Wodonga to achieve. I believe they should have done better.
Update: The hotel responded elsewhere to my review. Their response suggested that the problem was that we had booked shortly before we stayed. This makes no sense at all. The booking was equally non-refundable whenever we booked, and a room's characteristics cannot be misrepresented just because a booking is made shortly before a stay any more than it can be done if the booking is made months before. The hotel's efforts so far suggest to me that the problems here extend up into the management. I will be avoiding Quest until this impression is reversed.

Dear Jim Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your stay didn't meet your expectations. We understand your disappointment about the room view and location. When booking through an online travel agent, the information provided via these platforms states a general overview of potential apartment locations and views. As a 4-level building, Quest Wodonga doesn't offer specific room view options for booking. Despite our efforts to accommodate preferences, room allocations are subject to availability, especially during peak periods. Your Studio Suite reservation, made on the same day of arrival late in the day, was our last available room due to high demand, so unfortunately on this occasion, making room movement was not an option. Regarding pricing or room rate adjustments, these aspects are beyond our control when reservations are made through third-party websites. We also apologise for the noise concern that affected your stay, especially during the festive season when activity within the building and surroundings tends to increase. However, please be assured that we are dedicated to overseeing and regulating internal movements to ensure the comfort of all our guests. Our Resident Manager is always available for prompt assistance should any disturbance issues arise. We appreciate your understanding and we do hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back to Quest Wodonga. Warmest Joanne Buckley, Business Development Executive

This is the second time we have stayed for a week a 1Br Executive Apartment at Quest Wodonga . We really enjoy staying in a self catering apartment because we don't like to dine out for every meal when staying for a week. Quest Wodgonga is in a great location: walking distance to supermarkets; very close to excellent bike trails that go out on the Tallangatta Rail trail, into the suburbs of both Wodonga and Albury; easy car access to Albury, Beechworth, Tallangatta, Hume Highway; close to cafes and restaurants. Huon Hill restaurant is linked by a enclosed bridge to Quest Wodonga so access is extremely easy. The apartment is well equipped with a full kitchen, laundry facilities, separate bedroom and balcony. Staff are pleasant and helpful. We have booked another week at this Quest apartment hotel.

Staying at quest Wodonga was pretty good and I would recommend you to stay there as the location and services are at the standard and pretty cheap as well. There is restaurant just a hand reach from quest. And shopping centre just 400m away.

Hi Hayjodiemonica1 Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're glad to hear that you found our hotel's location convenient and you enjoyed your stay with us. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the noise disturbance and any issues with the TV/ Internet. To enhance our guests experience, we've upgraded to smart TVs throughout the hotel, ensuring you can tailor your stay to your preferences. While our onsite restaurant, Huon Hill, offers lunch and dinner services, we understand the importance of a great breakfast. Nearby, fantastic options like BeanStation Cafe, The Ploughmans Cafe, and Blind Freddies are just a few of our personal favourites! We do hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back to Quest Wodonga. Warm regards, Joanne Buckley, Business Development Executive

We stayed at Quest Wodonga for a week and enjoyed the independence of being in a self contained apartment so we could have breakfast in the apartment each day and prepare some other meals. The location is ideal for visiting local tourist areas, Wodonga and Albury shops, riding our bikes on the local bike trails within Wodonga and Albury. Huon Hill restaurant provides good food and service. We also walked with relatives to the ice cream shop in the station precinct area some evenings. Very handy to have a washing machine and dryer in the apartment. Service from the staff was very professional and helpful. Supplied toiletries are good quality. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable week.

Quest apartments where ever you go provide a good basic standard of accomodation plus you get kitchen facilities which is great. But I think now-a-days most travellers would regard access to wifi as a fairly basic expectation but for the two days I was there the wifi was not working because of a ‘server’ problem. Really .. ? I can generally fix my own home internet quicker than this. A very popular tourist attraction nearby for bike riders is also the High country rail trail. Quest surprisingly do not really cater for bike riders and do not provide any real place to put a bike. The bike rack that they do have is for kids bikes and they charge $10 a night for the lockable underground car park. Prior to arriving I asked Quest about some of these issues but got no response. My guess is that bike riders visiting to use the high country rail trail are staying somewhere else. This would not put me off staying at a Quest in another location, but if I was looking to stay around Wodonga again I would probably look to stay elsewhere - particularly given the internet problems.

Hi Paul It's disappointing to receive this review. I know we spoke at length about the wifi & yes there were a number of Quest locations affected by our service provider. I'm particularly surprised given the experiences you shared working in IT but I apologise again for the inconvenience. We've never received feedback such as yours regarding the bike rack & we are an accredited cycle friendly business. I will be sure to pass your feedback on when we are next reviewed. We'd love to see you again Warmest Natasha
