Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in the Honeymoon suite. This is large, with a giant bathroom and spa bath. The bed is huge and comfortable and there is a kitchenette. An improvement would be a sofa or some comfortable chairs, the only things to sit on were the dining chairs which were hard and uncomfortable. 4/5 Would stay again.

The pillows were too soft and there was no drinking glass in the bathroom. The floor space was great. Lots of room to move around. The buffet breakfast was great and having the couch’s was great. The pools looked great but to cold and also liked the atmosphere of the pub were we had dinner

The whole experience of this stay has us still traumatised and only now able to write about it. From firstly, the (lack of) greeting at the reception desk (that stunk of stale smoke) to finally being turfed out by the angry cleaner, our entire stay was a shambles. The complex resembled something out of the 80's and our suite was not serviced once during our stay. All cutlery, crockery, pots and pans were grimy and sticky and had to be thoroughly washed prior to use. The toaster had congealed slime on top of it and the surface was burned, so didn't work (my skin is still crawling). Thankfully, I bought disinfectant wipes with me and, after using one to mop a drop of water off floor, I was horrified to witness the black dirt that greeted me on retrieval. Was this floor ever cleaned? The Airfryer was another story entirely and had a layer of fat on its tray, and it stank, so I quickly shut it again. I decided to make a cup of tea, though now no longer surprised, I found the condiment sachets to be old and shriveled. The tap water was that over chlorinated, that I felt like I didn't need mouthwash after!! The whole suite never once had a sheet change or towel change. We were given 2 whole toilet rolls for 4 people for the duration(4 days). Good job my IBS held off or I wouldn't have made it out alive! There was a terrible smell from all the drains which made for a very unpleasant bathtime. And now for the piece de resistance............. Checkout!!!!! We received 3 rude phone calls barking at us to leave. We had several knocks on the door from an angry cleaner who would have looked less threatening if she had a sword in her hand. She literally frog-marched us out the door barely giving us a chance to pack up and leave. We raced up to reception and the angry receptionist was too busy on a personal call to acknowledge the keys being returned. Again it smelled like a dirty old tavern. We shall not return, hell no, just nope, no thank you. Ps. Did I mention it comes with free (thankfully, dead) wildlife??!!

This motel was recommended by a coworker. When I called to make a booking, the person on the phone was outstanding. When we arrived at Reception, the lady was very friendly. However, certain information wasn’t relayed to us. We did not know the times for breakfast, we were not given Wi-Fi information or general information. There were two of us in separate rooms. The layout of these rooms were exceptionally good. I was in an accessibility room, it was outstanding. The location of the motel was easy to find. Another winning feature of this motel was it’s walking distance to a pub. The bed itself is a little firm, the pillows were quite flat and I did not get a particularly good night sleep here. My co-worker complained of the opposite, her pillows were too high. Overall, the motel was very neat. Being close to an eatery was outstanding.

We had five nights in a lovely, spacious room that had a microwave, toaster and kettle. Beds are very comfortable and the bathroom was bright and roomy. It was very convenient to be able to park right outside the door. We had brought our e-bikes so that we could ride the rail trails and it was fantastic having a rail trail right behind the Motel. It's an easy four kilometre ride into the centre of town one way and the other way takes you towards bike paths and rail trails that lead to Bonegilla as well as around beautiful Lake Hume. We had a fabulous time. It is such a great location. We had a wonderful morning at the Wodonga Farmer's Market and visited fascinating Bonegilla and Hume Dam. So much to do and see and the bike trails are fantastic. We're looking forward to getting back and we would definitely stay at Blazing Stump again. The staff are friendly and very helpful and there is the pub next door which serves meals.

Have stayed here numerous times. Quiet and easy parking at door. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they were renovating the restaurant but could order from pub next door for dinner and breakfast was room service so it was not a problem. Clean rooms with room to move. Bedding was so comfortable and clean.

We stayed here two nights and were very impressed with the spacious, modern room, comfy bed and the high level of cleanliness. We had difficulty finding a motel one evening and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lucky it is a motel with many rooms and we managed to get one of the very last ones available. We also enjoyed a meal at the nearby pub. We would be happy to stay here again.

Stayed two night here and then flew back to Queensland. Great service, helpful, clean, comfortable, big rooms, bedding was very good, large bathroom and parking outside of your room. Meals to room from the adjacent Blazing Stump Hotel was amazing. 8 slices of roast beef with 2 lots of all baked veg and Garvey. Prawn linguine was also a huge meal. My son went back to work on the Monday so the staff organised a taxi to take me to the airport for my flight. Nothing was a bother to them.

We basically just needed a place to stay, no real demands for extra amenities and the room was large with everything we required including a small dining setting and a reasonably good sofa. The room was quite large and the bathroom was excellent with a very good shower and a large bench. We stayed for 3 nights & requested early access so that we could change for a midday function on our arrival date and the motel was very accommodating. We had pizzas one night from the Blazing Stump Hotel next door & they were excellent. Overall we had a lovely stay, nice room & very friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Every part of the visit was great, from booking with the motel staff to departure two days later. Two rooms booked - different configuration - both great. Spacious clean rooms and everything very fresh. Breakfast available and reasonable prices. Some road noise from the unit nearest the rod but not an issue. The unit one row back no noise. Grounds are great to wander around and whoever tends to the garden takes great pride in their work.
