There was a pube on the toilet seat. There was an open bottle of Coke in the fridge that had been drunk out of. The "queen room" had two single beds next to each other, which was uncomfortable and not what I had expected. When I twice rang the number that was given to me for nighttime emergencies, no one picked up.
It was cheap compared to other places in the area, but still too expensive for what we got.

Initially booked this Hotel for 3 nights in April 2020, but due to CV-19 we had to re-schedule our stay. 14mo later we were able to book & stay over the QB long weekend. We were pleasantly surprised how friendly the Staff were from re-scheduling right up to check in.
Everything in the room was immaculate! The beds were comfortable, the shower/bathroom very clean. The TV, heater, fridge, microwave all worked without any issues. parking easily right outside our room, no issues.
Would definitely stay again if we have an event scheduled in the area.

Great place to stay was left alone to do what we wanted. The owners were very helpful and accomodating. Area is very close to Knox Shopping centre and goodlife gym. It is also nice and quiet.
Unfortunately it was a tad dusty and I’m allergic to dust and it was musty in the room. We made it work though which was good.
Overall we enjoyed the stay and we would return. Thanks for having us.

It was asthough somebody had emptied a bin at the door to our room! There was rubbish, food scraps and abandoned childrens toys strewn everywhere. We would not have stayed if we arrived early enough to find somewhere else to stay. When we asked the staff to move us to somewhere cleaner we were informed that they were full. This establishment is not reflective of the photos online. Please do not be fooled. We were worried to leave our vehicle there overnight. The photor were clearly taken when the hotel was new. NOT a four star hotel.

Rang a few days early to ensure we would be able to do a late check in. Was told by reception that it was possible. Arrived at 9pm to find no one there. Rang the service phone number 7 times over 30minutes sat in the freezing cold with a baby and she finally answered. She rudely told me she was on another call and that is why she didn't answer. She finally came down stairs after another 20minute wait. She gave me the key and walked away. I asked where the room was ad she said out those doors but no other indication. Had to park well away from room as restaurant was busy and all parks taken! We booked a balcony room- got the ground level. I booked a queen size bed with ceiling fans and laundry ammenties. All we got was a double bed and a single pushed together, no ceiling fan and an iron with an ironing board with no cover,,, Kettle was disgusting Microwave did not work lounge was covered in scuffmarks, smeare, what i can only hope was food and ripped. We took our infant son and was too scared to let him on the floor, Lots of bottle lids, wrappers and a handbag under the bed! Clearly not cleaned. I understand due to covid they would not do room service but was given a note saying if we needed anything to call them and they will have it for us in reception. I asked for an extra towel as there was no where to dry ours over the 4 day stay. Rudely was asked if none were in the room. I said there were and she replied "what do you want more for?" Not to mention, when we arrived there was a large overflowing trolley of dirty linen outside our room. This stayed there for the entire 4 days, Like, i get that this was a budget room but this... was next level, Reception of was rude. Rooms were dirty, outdated and contained broken furniture. NO designated parking for hotel guests. The adjoining restaurant was loud and patrons were standing and smoking in carpark and near our rooms, obviously cos they cant outside the restaurant. Literally the only thing going for it is the location.
Oh, and I returned the handbag and she just grunted and threw it on a desk to the side.
If you stay, be warned and make sure you pack everything! Bet the lady never got her handbag back.

This is absolutely the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. Left after one night, would have preferred to leave right away but reception was closed when we realised the full extent of the horrors this room had to offer. In the middle of a global pandemic you expect a hotel room to at least be clean. The Knox International absolutely does not provide that. From pubic hair on the toilet seat to beard clippings on the vanity, this room was filthy. Questionable stains litter the sheets, bed covers and pillows. The floor was sticky and covered in cigarette burns. Cobwebs in every corner of the room really lent themselves to the frightful state the place was in. The handprint on the headboard was a highlight. Do not stay here. You would be better off in you car and arguably safer.

My elderly husband was ‘lost’ and looking for somewhere to stay late Saturday evening ( we live in the country) , I found Knox International Hotel and Apartments online and rang them seeing if they could help, they went out of their way to talk to him on the phone and help him with directions. He stayed in a small apartment and was extremely happy with the comfort and cleanliness, the girl on duty ( Tammy was her name I think) was so understanding. It was a great outcome and we plan to both stay there later in the year.

We booked here last minute, as soon as we drove into the car park we wanted to leave and going into the room didnt improve anything.
Photos nothing like the actual room, it was filthy. Graffiti on the bathroom mirror, stains all over the couch, holes in the vents and marks all over the walls. The pillows were yellow and gross we discovered in the morning.
And we went out for afew hours because we were so uncomfortable in the "apartment " and when we came back we couldn't get a park anywhere near our apartment yet at 10.30pm you can hear people very loudly through your bedroom door yelling and talking and all getting in their cars and leaving rather than having designated parking for hotel guests.

What a disgrace this motel is. I’ve travelled all over the world and have never experienced a room so dirty after having been apparently cleaned. Just to name a few of the issues, the fridge having spilt sticky orange liquid in it with hair and other dirty bits in it. I went to sit on one of the chairs and who knows what was on that! The chair was stained and had food and unknown stains and the couch was the same. The walls had cobwebs, dirt and hand prints on them, the outside of the door and light fittings were covered in spiders and cobwebs and there was someone’s dirty underwear in the washing machine. SO much for the COVID Safe cleaning policy. They should be fined for offering such unclean accommodation. I contacted the reception staff and was asked to meet her at another room as we refused to stay in the one we were offered. When she met me there, we didn’t even bother to go in….. rubbish spilt at the doorway and cigarette butts everywhere. In my opinion, you’d have to be crazy to spend any amount of money to stay here. The only plus was the helpful and very apologetic reception staff.

Stayed for two weeks for work - cleaning in that time was almost non existent, only made the bed and brought new towels. Room was quite dirty in general, in disrepair. Sheets of plastic stuck to the windows with double-sided tape for privacy, walls blistering, tiny TV, air con / heating unit noisy and about to die. Dirt ring around the spa, pests - spiders and bugs. No facilities for cooking as requested. Vibe coming into the complex is really depressing and whole place needs a power wash. Listen to the reviews and don't stay here.
