Average place with awful service, booked the restaurant and end up waiting 2 hours for the food eventually with our complaint manager offers if we want to cancel the order and when we got pissed off asking if we want to leave the hotel at 11:30 pm, left the place! Won’t let them get away with it unless make sure everyone knows about it

Excellent resort at Torquay, easy access to many other locations like Geelong, Bellarine various vineyards, Otway National parks, etc. Also easy access to restaurants with great food from fine dining of Brae to HugSiam Thai food, Indonesian Pondok Nasi Bakar, Jack rabbit cafe, etc. Many walking places after lunch or dinner to walk off the great food.

The location, room, outdoor pool and customer service (mostly) were all great. The website regarding the onsite cafe open days contradicted the information stand in the room and again to the flyer put under my door halfway thru my stay which was confusing and annoying when I planned day around buying dinner on-site only to discover it wasn't open. Being woken at 7am by concreters outside my room and in the garden bed adjacent, without any sort of notification by staff before hand was disappointing. No offer of recompense either. Aside from that I had an enjoyable holiday and would give them another go if in Torquay again if nothing better available.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your recent visit with the changing landscape of lockdowns in the region...we love to see a hunger for travelling again. With the onsite cafe there are quite a few restrictions that have existed and some are still in place which means sometimes we are forced to close, or open with limited capacity. With Melbourne still in lockdown at this point, our guest count is unfortunately limited meaning there is not enough guests in house to be able to open on some days, but when we can, we certainly open up. Regarding the concreters that were onsite, this was work that was not done by the hotel, and we were also not aware that they were coming that day. Had we been notified, we would have of course notified you. My apologies for the interruption. Thankfully those workers are long gone now. But we are counting the days when we can welcome guests to full capacity again, and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Kind regards, Cameron

Staff were lovely so no complaints there. Outdoor spa temperature was quite low and not comfortable. Ordered salt and pepper calamari from the restaurant but it was clearly not the fresh one. Room was a little run down and the balcony doors need upgrading as you can hear every little noise outside. We were also above the carpark entrance so you can hear cars and people all hours.

Thank you for staying with us recently and your feedback. Glad you recognised the staff here. They are an amazing team, and it is a privilege to lead them. I have checked the spa temperature, and the heat is maintaining quite well to the recommended temperature, but it can fluctuate slightly depending on the weather and the water heater timing. But it self regulates to a comfortable level so most guests enjoy the temperature, but we know some like it hot, some like it cooler, we try to get it just right. We will certainly look at the balcony doors when we do our next room upgrades. These are always great feedback so we know where to focus our attention. We would love to see you back down in Torquay soon. Kind regards, Cameron Jeffery General Manager

We stayed just the one night in Room #256. Check in was efficient. Undercover parking available. The room was enormous with a couch and arm chairs , a large Balcony with views to the ocean and pool along with a generous bathroom. We were quite impressed and would stay here again.

Thank you Cathy for staying with us, and for your lovely feedback. There are certainly some lovely beaches in Australia, and Torquay is certainly one of the good ones. The next time you come down, try the walk to Bells Beach...a beautiful walk along the coastline. Also, if you love beaches and ocean views, you should also try our other resorts in Phillip Island, Dunsborough, Marcoola Beach, Golden Beach, Airlie Beach, Port Stephens...amongst others. Can't wait to welcome you back. Regards, Cameron General Manager
