We checked in on a Wednesday afternoon in late October. We hadn't booked a place in Torquay and the tourist information staff recommended the place. They were unable to reach the owner/caretaker so we decided to take a drive there and see the place for ourselves. When we arrived I tried calling the number provided again and a lady returned our call a few minutes later.
We took 2 cabins for a night. They were clean and spacious. The cabins had the basic self catering equipment and a spacious dining area.
We took the 2 cabins overlooking the valley and with a partial sea view. These were in my opinion the best of all the cabins as they had the most privacy and best views. They are a bit more exposed to the wind. They can accommodate 2 adults and 4 children.
The facilities are basic and aging, with a communal bbq area and a hall and some court, with a small playground.
Overall it's great accommodation a short distance from town with a nice country feel and well priced.
