My partner and I had a wonderful time at the RACV Torquay resort. Our room was spacious, the views of the ocean were spectacular. The bed was extremely comfortable and they always have great products in the bathroom. We ate at Number One on the Friday night and the meal was delicious and well presented. Every staff member we came across during our visit were extremely pleasant and happy. It was great seeing employees enjoying their roles in hospitality. We are definitely going back and would highly recommend the resort. Thanks for making our weekend thoroughly enjoyable.

If the weather in Torquay turns mean, or you're too tired, then chilling out in the resort is so relaxing. The comfortable lounge chairs in Harding's lounge are great, with good views over the golf course and bits of the ocean in the distance. The room itself is HUGE, with double bed, lounge, lounge chairs, coffee tables and a desk. And the bathroom is luxurious. The big screen TV had inbuilt chromecast, which is a nice touch along with the wifi. You can't complain about the food, it was delicious both at breakfast and in Harding's lounge. On the negative side, no USB charging ports in our room, and no power points at the bedside tables. Could have done with more of them. No clocks on the bedside tables. Crumbs left on the floor in Harding's lounge should be swept up after people leave. Otherwise, love the resort.…

WOW. I loved everything about the resort and my husband and I can not wait to come back. We attended a conference at the resort and were blown away by the experience. All the facilities were fantastic, the food was amazing and the view from everywhere in the resort were spectacular. It was also great to see such a diverse age range of the staff members. I applaud a business that appreciates the wealth of knowledge by employing older staff members it isn't common to see staff over the age of 50 in hospitality. Thank you so much for having us. We are planning a personal trip back in the future.

Stayed at RACV Torquay Resort for 2 nights for our Son’s Wedding The venue, staff, food and location where all well above expectations Having a large group of people of all ages the Resort catered for all The children loved the pool and games room Older members of the group enjoyed the bars and lounge areas The Staff could not do enough to make sure our stay was perfect The Wedding was held at the Resort and was perfect and managed by staff without any problems Rooms were all of a good size, clean and comfortable Overall 10/10 Ronda

We had buffet breakfast during the week and found the selection very good. If there is one area that needs improvement is the hot food is just warm and the poached eggs were hard. The staff member who showed us to our table was very friendly and informative about how the buffet works, the tea and coffee station as well as purchasing espresso coffee. I believe her name is Milly. Overall it was an enjoyable experience with a great view of the golf course and ocean.

The architecture is stunning. Such a well thought out, generous space. The rooms are MASSIVE. The bar overlooks the golf course and then onto the ocean. No.1 Great Ocean Road is the right nomenclature for this haven. Rest, create, plan and replenish. Great eateries in the local town are a stroll away, as are the beaches. Don’t hesitate staying here. It’s a real gem.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in a Premium Ocean View Room with a balcony. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We had stayed here a few years ago, also in a Premium Ocean View Room for 2 nights. The Resort has many facilities and is located in a prime location with an impressive postal address of Number 1, Great Ocean Road, Torquay. We had breakfast in the main restaurant over two consecutive days and also had a dinner in the restaurant. Service was excellent throughout our stay, from time of check in, to time of check out. We will return next year for another holiday.

Held our second conference at RACV as happy first time and even more impressed the 2nd one. Room views - AMAZING! Food was delicious, great gym except please turn on air conditioning or invest in some fans as SO hot in there. All our group thought the same thing. Breakfast - great selection and lovely food. My only drama I had was that we had just been for a run and stair climb on beach and wanted to return to room for a shower. The battery on my door had gone flat so would not allow me to get in. Had to wait for maintenance to change. I went had breakfast but felt a bit uncomfortable in my sweaty clothes and got really cold. Other than that hiccup great venue for conference or a stay would highly recommend.
