My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights for our anniversary and were amazed at how beautiful and clean Ocean Manor was for such a reasonable price. With lovely beach views, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a huge lounge space and a big TV it was like having our own house which was a nice change from a hotel! Helen also provided a cute breakfast each day and drove us into town with all our luggage! Too nice! Will definately be back, HIGHLY recommend this place!

We are older, and being in this extremely quiet, upscale residential neighborhood was bsolute perfection.

Helen and Bob run a beautiful place, with so many wonderful amenities it's impossible to name them all.....oh, but I'll try:

The apartment is very spacious and pretty, with modern accents. It is EXTREMELY well-appointed in a thoughtful fashion. There is a lovely balcony with very comfy seating. There are 1 and a half bathrooms......the shower in the full-bath is fabulous. The towels are fluffy. There is a big teevee, games, and music. And when was the last time you were in a rental that had a walk-in closet?

We are extremely grateful to Helen and Bob for keeping good Torquay accommodation affordable.

Our only caveat: This is indeed a quiet, residential neighborhood. If you prefer a bit more action, this isn't the place for you.

I'd hate to let the secret out, but apparently it's already out there.....this place is superb.

The B&B lies in a quiet, residential area, about 10 -15 min walk to the beach. We stayed in the very spacious room on the first floor with a balcony and had a great views all the way to the ocean. Everything you need for a continental breakfast was already provided in the room, from various cereal to bread, jam, butter, orange jiuce, milk... which we could prepare in our own time and eat on the balcony in the morning sun.
Our hosts gave us good recommendations for dinner, we would definitely come back again.

Helen and Bob are an amazing couple and their welcome is fantastic. The B&B is lovely and has a beautiful view of Torquay and the sea.
We are from the UK and have mentioned to friends we know who are going out to Oz to make sure they visit.
The accommodation is very "roomy" and spotlessly clean, you could easily live here as the rooms are apartment in set up, en-suite, kitchenette all that you need to be very, very comfortable.
You are left to your own devices without feeling you're being monitored, nothing is too much trouble if you require assistance with anything. Their local knowledge is invaluable to us visitors and we would definitely stay again.

Thank you Helen and Bob,

Lee and Madelaine from UK.

Helen is a great host, very friendly, helpful and hospitable. We stayed here one night in December, as a starting point to the Great Ocean Road. Everything was neat and clean, tea and coffee and breakfast were provided. We had our breakfast in the sun on the balcony, enjoying the view.
The suite had everything we needed, apart from clean and nice bedrooms with comfy beds the separate lounge had a seating area, sofa and tv and games to play with our son. We had a great stay and if we ever do the Great Ocean rd again, we will definitely stay here again! Would recommend this place to everyone!
Thanks Helen and Bob for making our stay so relaxing!

We stayed at the Ocean Manor B&B during our trip along the Great Ocean Road. It's a lovely, quiet place to stay, a real home from home. The owners Helen and Bob were lovely, very friendly and had thought of every little detail. You wanted for nothing!
The bed was really comfortable and the view of the ocean was a bonus. In fact we liked it so much we stayed on our return journey.

We stayed for just the one night at the beginning of our Great Ocean Road three day visit. Helen welcomed us and showed us the lovely suite which comprised a large bedroom, good sized ensuite, spacious and comfortable lounge, dining area and kitchenette with generous continental breakfast supplies. Off the lounge is a balcony from which great views to the ocean can be enjoyed whilst eating breakfast. We found the bed very comfortable with good quality linen and the quiet location ideal for a sound night's sleep. It was truly a pleasure to stay there and to meet such delightful hosts in Helen and Bob.

This was the end of our trip along the Great Ocean Road and handy for our crossing to Tasmania, the next day. We had booked online after checking out Trip Adviser....but were amazed when shown to the "suite of rooms" that comprised our accommodation for the night. Everything had been provided. The lounge room had a breakfast bar, complete with fridge where we could refresh our ice packs for our Eski. Comfortable settees. A fully furnished balcony. An enormous bedroom and bathroom. You are completely separate from the owners, so you don't feel you are getting in anyone's way.
We were pleased to have wifi, that wasn't charged as extra and the connection was fast.
Thank you Helen for making us so welcome. Your accommodation was excellent value for money.

Very comfortable apartment with all mod cons and plenty of room to move around. So nice to have the addition of a lounge to relax in as well as a bedroom. Fully equipped to be a holiday home for a family for a week or more (as there are two bedrooms) and there is plenty to see and do in and around Torquay.
We only stopped here for one night en route between Phillip Island and the Great Ocean Road which begins nearby. Wish we could have stayed a few more nights.

We had a beautiful two bedroom accommodation on the second floor with a lovely balcony facing the sea. Kids enjoyed the swing on the balcony.

Place was clean and well-kept by the owners.

Location of the accommodation is within short drive to town centre and children's playground.

Highly recommended and great for families with young children.
