One of those places that we left wanting to stay more. The owners Anna & Steve were extremely attentive to all details. The rooms were perfectly furnished and kitchen fully equipped. We are a family of four and stayed in the Country Cottage. Everything about the house was just perfect. We had a short but memorable stay.

This place was the perfect end to our great ocean road experience. The cottage was well equipped, super comfortable bed, awesome spa baths and facilities.. From the morning of checkin the experience was seamless! The owners Steve and Anna were really lovely offering personalised guidance on dinner venues in town. The hens were really friendly, so friendly that you often come out of your front door and they are standing there waiting for you!
Giant chess, fresh eggs from the coop to help yourself too and a little BBQ on the balcony to cook them ❤️ the alpacas 🦙 were cute and a nice touch! We highly recommend this place! Best night sleep we had all trip! Peaceful, tranquil, starry nights 💫 and just overall a 6 star experience! THANK YOU STEVE AND ANNA! You guys have created something special here - thanks for sharing it with travellers near and far.

These cottages are easily located on the highway on the outskirts of town. There are 4 or 5 cottages seperately located in a lovely garden area. Ours, (No. 3) was compact but perfect for a couple. A kitchenette, dining area, lounge/bedroom & a lovely ensuite. Double doors take you to an outdoors balcony with a table & seating. Very tastefully furnished complete with reading material, DVD's Etc. Great bed. Overall, a really enjoyable experience with very helpful hosts. We'll be back!

There are five cottages of different sizes in this rural setting and we stayed in number 3. It's a cute cottage with rather dated furnishings, but there are lovely outdoor spaces to sit. It's basically a two-roomed space with an L-shaped bedroom/living room/kitchen and a rather oversized bathroom for the size of the small cottage. We weren't adjacent to the road but we could still hear the traffic in the morning (and we live on the South Circular in London!)

The bathroom has both a spa bath, which would take about an hour and a half to fill if used, and an unenclosed shower which doesn't really drained very well so the whole floor ends up soaking wet. There's also only a tiny shelf above the sink to put any toiletries, which is difficult when you're travelling.

One other thing worth mentioning is that there are hardly any sockets so we ended up having to put a-our phones in the bathroom to charge, which really isn't ideal.

The decor is charming, and for a night or two the Stone Cottage was fine. But there are a few factors that make it not quite perfect: the lighting in the bathroom is impossible for applying makeup and other mirrors are in less than ideal spots for this task. There is little space for toiletries in the bathroom. A workout on my yoga mat revealed dust under the furniture and cobwebs here and there. But the bed was extremely comfortable and the road noise wasn’t a problem for us. We heard some in the morning but we wanted to rise early so we weren’t bothered. The location is just a little far for walking to restaurants.

Booked the cottage over a year ago based on the great reviews. It was the best place we stayed in on the Ocean Road trip. Only 1 night unfortunately, but great email communication from Steve and Anna prior to arrival, easy access and a lovely location. It’s about a 20 min walk into the town centre. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped.
Would definitely recommend

My partner, our small dog & a friend stayed in the cottage house for 3 nights. The best dog friendly accommodation we have ever stayed in. We also loved the old charm of the buildings & the surrounds. We wanted for nothing and the attention to detail was wonderful. Finally the communication with the owners was brilliant with their local knowledge & recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble!

We booked this very last minute and it was such a good decision! Would recommend to anyone and stay again! We had a very good time. The place is cozy, warm, an amazing bath and great view of alpacas. The local area was great to explore. I highly recommend!

Cottage just outside of Port Fairy centre. Well presented, clean and spacious. Owners very friendly and helpful. Nice grounds also for relaxing. And even some Lamas out back. Off road parking also.

Another advantage you can take your dog. Look forward to a future visit.

We stayed for one night on our way along the coast. We did not meet the owners, but they left clear and concise details for getting there and checking in. The whole place is delightful with a great ambience. Cottage was a great size with all you require for a comfortable stay. Chooks and alpacas are fun to watch. Chooks happy to follow you looking for their next meal...
Place is situated just off main road and we were in cottage 6 which was lovely and quiet. We loved staying here and would definitely recommend.

We were not traveling with children, but I did notice the following on their website: "CHILD POLICY: Please note that we are unable to cater for children under 16 years; including all infants and toddlers, in any of our accommodation."
