Clean and comfortable. Had a great nights sleep. Our room had kitchen area with microwave in sitting area with leather sofa, jacuzzi bath and separate bedroom. Friendly staff. Showing its age and typical motel style. Port Fairy is a great little town with great seafront and lots of interesting shops.

A large room with a kitchenette where I could make my own breakfast and drinks. Comfortable, warm, spacious, a large writing desk, and...my favourite -- a hot shower with an old fashioned shower rose that feels so wonderful to stand under. Two minutes walk to downtown Port Fairy, cafes and shops. Eight minutes walk to the waterfront.

This is the third year I have stayed at the Ashmont Motor Inn and each time the room has been warm and clean, with plenty of blankets, pillows and towels if you need them. Great wifi, walking distance to everything, car parking and the hosts are brilliant. Highly recommend

Author friendly!!! The Ashmont Apartments were a perfect location for a writing getaway. The rooms were comfortable and quiet and the hosts were so helpful. Comfiest beds and quality furnishings ... and everything was within walking distance of town. A perfect venue to stay in if you are in need of a few quiet writing nights in inspiring surroundings.

One night here on our Great Ocean Road trip. Upstairs room was well furnished, clean and comfortable. Can't ask more than that! Mrs BlackDuck had booked direct online and the website said that it included breakfast. It did not and no change to the price was offered. This was one of our more expensive one night stops and the extra $ did not provide any extra value. However, staff were friendly. We self cater most of our breakfasts on tour, so there was little inconvenience to us. Ate at Gregory's Restaurant and see a separate review. That is not really recommended, while the motel is OK.

Lovely motel, very clean and very central to the town and restaurants. Typical motel with parking out the front of the room. Loved the Chromecast and 32in flat screen tv. A little on the expensive side ($170) but overall a good choice.

Stayed here recently in an upstairs room. Very comfortable and clean. Good linens, electric blanket, tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Very quiet. Great location for everything in town to walk to. Would recommend.

Clean rooms with great facilities. We had the 2 bedroom apartment (room 22 & 23) which has 2 private bedrooms both with King beds and ensuite bathrooms. One of them also has a washing machine which was very handy for us. The staff in the office were very helpful and willing to make recommendations for places to eat.

We found the Ashmont Appartments to be modern, comfortable and well appointed. Felt like a resort more than a motel. Its location right in the heart of Port Fairy allowed us to leave our car and walk everywhere within the town. Staff were friendly and helpful. We're certainly going to return!
