Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My friend and I stayed at Port Boutique Accomodation for a 1 night mid week stay whilst visiting the Great Ocean Road and we absolutely loved it here! The room was modern, very clean and spacious with a kitchenette. The towels in the bathroom were very fluffy and despite it being December it was very cold so the wool blanket was very much appreciated. Hotel is in a good location and just set back from the main road so it’s really quiet. We walked everywhere whilst staying in Poet Fairy. Parking was a little confusing at first as it’s up a side road but we figured it out using the signs. The courtyard outside was very cute with little chairs and a table, it was a shame it was too cold for us to sit out there when we visited. Maree was fabulous at messaging us with information regarding check in and check out and tips for eating out. It was so great to get tips off a local. Love that personalised touch! Highly recommend dinner at Coffin Sally and breakfast at The Farmer’s Wife, which were both opposite the hotel and less than a 1 minute walk away. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Port Fairy in the future.

A lovely, cosy place that we enjoyed so much we’re going back, tomorrow. Yes it’s different from other places re access and parking but read the information provided and it’s pretty straight forward. Port Fairy is a lovely town and the whole coastal area is beautiful.

A well located, clean, renovated and spacious place to stay in the middle of main st Port Fairy. Great communication when booking. Lots of little extras included to make stay even better. Owners even messaged with extensive dinner suggestions. Book direct for the best rate. Well worth the stay…… thoroughly recommend.

Can't fault this gem. The room was prepped and presented perfectly; welcoming us after a long drive. There was a subtle lovely scent as you walk. I should have asked what it was! Impeccably clean and perfect location in the heart of town. Friendly and welcoming hosts who know you by name. Excellent quality appliances, crockery and cutlery (for a snack and cuppa). Proper tea and coffee offered; none of those unknown brand names here. As you can tell, I have nothing negative to say... Thanks Maree for making our room just right for for our little chats and thanks Tony for everything. Great in communicating too once booking is confirmed.

Amazing location - super clean - fabulous host! I have been a return guest for a numbers of years and wouldn't stay anywhere else. A tip - has main street access and free car parking is off the side street behind the property. My favorite weekend escape, You won't be disappointed!

Lovely one or two bedroom apartment; fully appointed. So close to the main street with the IGA only a minute's walk away. Loved the air-conditioning and the twin shower head. The outdoor patio was a very welcome surprise>

It is a bit hidden away but actually in a great location right on the main road. The accommodation on the first floor was rally spacious and comfortable. Spotlessy clean and good quality bed linen which was a huge plus. Easy to recommend!

What a great place to stay! The units are tucked in behind the shops in the CBD. They are perfectly located and first class standard. The manager sent a text explaining location and arrival procedures. Too easy. The unit is like new with a comfy queen bed, kitchenette and quality bathroom. Free WiFi is included. I highly recommend the Port Boutique Accommodation.
