The rooms are beautifully clean and wonderfully set up. The convenience of being close to the beach and just few mins away from shopping and excellent dining options is truly remarkable. The rooms come equipped with a microwave, kettle, fridges, as well as plates, cups, bowls, and more. Additionally, the thoughtful provision of amenities like tea towels and detergent for washing and reuse is highly appreciated. We're absolutely delighted with our decision to stay here. Thank you

I recently stayed at A1 Motels Port Fairy, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. Self check-in process was smooth and hassle-free.
The room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with all the essentials, including microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, very comfortable bed etc. The modern style decoration created a cozy and relaxing atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
The location was perfect, few mins drive from town Center and restaurants .
What stood out most was the value for money.
I would highly recommend A1 Motel Port Fairy to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

The charge per night was >$300 but the facilities are very average. The towels are very thin, the bathroom is old and the shower tiny. The only staff member on site spoke no english. The person who answered the phone was defensive and rude. She shouted that she is always accused of things but that wasn't fair as she believed the photos of the room were accurate. She then hung up on us. We had asked for an additional pillow but we were told that wasn't possible. Would not recommend

We stayed at this so called accomodation for 2 nights. There was NO interaction at all between us and any staff and yet the “owner” claimed they asked us if all was ok and that we replied in the affirmative ..a downright lie. There is NO reception..you collect the key from the drop box where ALL keys to ALL rooms are left. There was no washing up detergent, no milk, no room service of any kind and no staff at all. There was at least 6 months of dust under the beds and the couch. The shower is so small my husband found it almost impossible to fit into the cubicle and he’s slim and only 6 feet tall.There is no shelf in the shower for soaps, shampoos etc. Worst of all...despite asking for a quiet room we were right beside the Princes Highway and endured traffic noise all night long plus the curtain was so thin that the street light and the motels own light lit up our room as if we were under a spotlight. BUT I repeat the owners assertion that they even met us let alone asked for our feedback is utter rubbish and a downright lie.

I paid 138AUD for the one night at A1 Motels. The check in process was clear and easy to follow. The room, to my eye, had recently been modernised. Monogrammed/logo’d towels/bedsheets etc., touch lamps with wireless charging bases, humidifiers and ambient lighting in the bathroom. I was impressed for the price. What a hidden gem! A wonderfully clean and comfortable space for our family trip. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset views from the back and appreciated the convenience of being close to everything. self check in and out was well set up. Highly recommended!

I (as well as others in my group) was so excited to visit the A1 motels port fairy . Our main reason for visiting Australia is to stay here, to enjoy this lodge and see Kangaroo Island. We arrived on Feb 2 and really enjoyed the afternoon walking the beach. We enjoyed the evening visiting with kangaroos , then a wonderful dinner.
I have to say that the staff did an awesome job . The employees are definately professionals. They made sure that all of the guests were safe and taken care of. My hopes so many more people can experience this magical place.

This was a last minute stay. The owner was very accommodating. We got a great room with a very comfy bed for a very reasonable price. The room was spotless. Shops within walking distance. We will definitely be staying here next time we are in town.

we really enjoyed our stay there. it was so surprise when we opened the room. Freshly painted room with warm decor. new carpet, new furnitures. wireless charger Microwave. basically, have everything we needed. we will definitely come back next year.
