We stayed in the 3 BR/2Bath apartment with 2 adult couples and a 7 year old. It had plenty of space to be together but not getting in each other's way. The kitchen was well stocked with nice appliances and there was a small gas grill we could use. The dining table inside sat 8 and the picnic table outside sat 6. The beds were all comfy and the AC cooled down the upstairs quickly once we turned it on.

Fabulous fully equipped holiday home that will be perfect for your GOR adventure. Peaceful surrounding and awesome sleep quality. The washer+dryer will bring a smile for your fresh clothing needs. Spacious, well-maintained and good layout with car parked just outside the unit. 2 thumbs up... will stay here in future should I do an encore on the GOR.

Only if you can't find anything else. The room has no view and we were told over the phone to just check-in into the room and the keys are inside, so we never met any reception staff etc. Had no pool etc but we found a DVD player and by the time we called to get a few DVDs, the reception was closed. Wish they could have just met us while checking us in so we could grab a few DVDs. No doubt rooms were spacious but there's really nothing to do around that spot. I would rather stay in the other motel / hotel closer to beach and restaurants.

My parents and I + a friend recently stayed at the Southern Ocean Villas as a part of our tour of the Great Ocean Road.

I don’t agree with the many negative reviews I’ve seen here as our experience was just fine. At check in we were greeted in a friendly manner and directed to our villa which was right there, as this resort is compact and all villas are close to the parking.

We had a two level, two bedroom, two bathroom villa with a queen size room on the main floor and a queen size bed in the upstairs loft level, along with a twin bed in the upstairs loft alcove.

The villa was fully equipped with laundry, a dining room, living room, kitchen and deck. Parking was free and the location was a two minute drive into the center of town or a 10-minute walk.

We were comfortable during our stay and really had no complaints.

If you are expecting a five-diamond luxury villa like the Four Seasons then of course you’ll be disappointed.

If you understand Port Campbell is a small little town with lots of smaller villas/apartments then you’ll be fully satisfied with your stay here!

After driving 3.5hours with my wife and 2 kids we turned up to a room that smelt damp as soon as we walked in. Along with that the place was nothing like the pictures with the outdoor deck old and extremely weathered. We decided due to the dampness and smell that it was not safe staying there.

We were there for no more than 15min after a 3.5 hour drive. I rung Angela who after arguing my reasons for being unsatisfied, offered for us to see another room. We saw the other room which was exactly the same and again anything like the pictures online. We were utterly disappointed and felt misled. I rung her again and told her we are going to leave.
Angela said that cancellation refunds are only available 7 days before arrival! This was not a cancellation! We turned up and we were not happy. We were not willing to stay in this place that stunk, was damp and presented nothing like the pictures. To make matters worse, Angela was extremely rude and refused to listen to my reasons and offered no refund! She said "leave if you want but thats on you, you're not getting a refund"

On morals I beg everyone to NOT stay here!

Angela treated me so badly, and did not refund me my $1200 when we spent no more than 15min in this accommodation .

Please DO NOT book here!

Angela, How DARE you think it's ok to treat someone like this. You're a theif.

We chose a Villa that had a downstairs bedroom with adjacent bathroom and level access for an elderly relative who uses a walker. She was very happy and comfortable as were we upstairs. However, be aware that the twisting stairs to access the upper level are steep with a handrail that is not particularly supportive. The open plan sitting area was spacious and well equipped and parking is flat, adjacent, and easy. Like others we were not met by Angela on arrival with reception closed the whole time we were there, but she did ring twice to confirm all was O.K. In all, no serious complaints from us and we would stay there again.

Check in was slow as there was a group with multiple rooms checking in before us. Room had a number of small issues - ants in the kitchen of the first room we were given. In the 2nd room, bathroom window was broken and wouldn't close, bedroom screen was torn, A/C couldn't keep up with sun beating down on the family room/kitchen, dryer only worked on 1 setting.

Property isn't quite within walking distance of shops/restaurants, but is a quick drive.

This is a great location for a large group, or multiple families.

We stayed for 3 nights on our GOR trip. There was no-one at reception when we arrived in the afternoon, so we phoned and were told our villa number and that it was open. That was a little different to a normal welcome. The villa was a three bedroom villa and would suit a family. It was clean and tidy, just looked a little tired.
The staircase is very narrow up to the 3rd main bedroom which also had a single bed and bathroom, it was very spacious. There were 2 bedrooms downstairs.
We chose to sleep downstairs, it was disappointing that the bed was uncomfortable. All the beds appeared to be the same, I did mention this on the evaluation sheet left on the table. Sleep quality is pretty important so if they could improve the bed quality then I would rate this accommodation as very good. Its set behind bushes, there's onsite carparking and its a nice walk into town.

Port Campbell is on the Great Ocean Road, just north of the 12 Apostles formations. The town is quaint, with a nice bathing beach. The Ocean Villas are spacious, with a loft for extra sleeping. Living and dining areas are clean, with all the amenities needed for self sufficient travelers. The kitchen was fully equipped. All in all, a very nice stay.

Big villa with space and two bathrooms. Bed too soft and the room was cold at night. The upstairs shower was set in a big cubicle but the shower was not very powerful. The outside deck area is too small and overlooked by your neighbour. It’s a short walk into town and port Campbell is a good base for a few days to explore the Great Ocean Road
