The Twelve Apostles Motel is the most convenient place for accomodation to watch the world-famous twelve apostles sunrise and sunset, just 2.9 km from the twelve apostles and a 5-minute drive. The hotel is located in the Campbell National Park. During the day, the birds and flowers are fresh and quiet. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the horses and cows are accompanied by the grassland. The koalas at the door and the kangaroos who often meet on the road make you feel like you are in a zoo. Surrounded by stars at night, the most beautiful galaxy and Magellan Nebula in the Southern Hemisphere can be seen with the eyes. At present, the hotel has a total of 13 rooms with both English and Chinese services, which can accommodate families, couples, friends and family members. Among them, 10 AUSSIE rooms will bring you the original Australian MOTEL; the other 3 sets of country and star view houses will allow you to enjoy the private space and enjoy the unparalleled Australian pastoral scenery and gorgeous starry sky. At present, it serves delicious Chinese and Western food and drinks. It's also the only place where traditional Chinese-style hot pot is served on the Great Ocean Road. Delicious as Australian beef and sheep rolls and prawns. it has received countless praises for guests and made the journey of the road an unforgettable feast of sight and taste.

Tucked on a side road of the Twelve Apostles parking entrance, we made an express trip to have dinner at this restaurant. Beautiful nature setting amidst majestic eucalyptus trees, accommodations next to restaurant are also offered. Owner, Felix, welcome us and
took us outside to show us a koala bear on one of the trees. Felix was most attentive and cooked our dinner himself; a Chinese menu is offered. Chinese dumplings were very good as was the lamb fried rice. Driving to the restaurant we spotted various kangaroos on the road and on the roadside. Nice, peaceful, tasty dinner in a very simple, nature rich environment.

Stayed 1 night. The location is very close to the 12 Apostles, albeit 3 kms down a dirt road, not too bad.
The rooms are basic but do the job for 1 night. The bed was comfortable.
We arrived mid afternoon to no reception. There were multiple folders on a table outside, you searched for your name, filled in all the details for everyone else to see, got the key from the folder and let yourself in to the room. There is no one from the hotel about, morning or night.
Never seen anything like it.

i found the room clean and well presented. The major problem I had was when checking in as I was trying to get a non-emnglish speaking Asian man to understand me. He tried to ring someone with no success and I was trying to tell him I rang the motel direct to book in .I find it cheaper to ring direct and the owners get the full amount this way. Finally he put his phone on English intrepratation but that was after about 15/20 minutes but he did understand me when I showed him cash to pay. This motel is very peaceful in the country and was 1or 2 minutes away from the 12 apostles lookout and tourist shop

A: When it doesn't have a sitting area.

Booked a cottage to have more room but this was not much bigger than a motel room and should be advertised as a cabin not a cottage. We actually brought in the two plastic basket chairs from the verandah and they were much more comfortable than the two upright wooden chairs provided.

This property has a fantastic position, so close to the Twelve Apostles, and they could do so much with it. Bed was great, bedspread lovely, but sheets were not a pair. Handtowel, bathmat and face washers were high quality - bath towels were hard thin beach/pool towels.

Curtains were unlined and in one case badly ripped. Door is glass with no covering so sun streamed in at first light.

We were in the end cottage and found vehicle access very difficult due to overhanging branches. This could be easily rectified and would make such a difference.

The owners are certainly not making the most of this property. Unfortunately it was self checkin (4.30 pm), and self check out (9 am) so we did not have the opportunity to speak to them.

Despite all the flaws I would still recommend this property due to its location only 3 km from the Twelve Apostles.

Turn up at property on dirt road away from any shops or anything else Advertised restaurant and breakfast wasn’t available as chef is away.Meaning we had to travel to Port Campbell for dinner and breakfast.

Motel is old and in poor condition. The motel was so bad and not what was advertised that we forfeited our money to stay somewhere else.We are NOT happy please read reviews before booking

We stayed there as we were working in the area. The rooms are outdated and not the cleanest. I killed a white tail spider in my room and the carpets had some stains that I didn’t want to know what it was. I do travel a fair bit for work and have stayed in many regional hotels but this hotel one is one I won’t be staying again. The owners of this hotel are sitting on a goldmine and if they spent the money to update the rooms and get them clean up the rewards would be huge.

I intended to book two rooms here in the same date, and in error booked them on different dates. I realised too late, and was unable to acquire two rooms on the date that I needed.
Although it was well past the "free cancellation" date, the manager kindly agreed to a full refund on both rooms allowing me to book elsewhere with two rooms together.
The motel is in a great location for hiking on the Great Ocean Walk, so I expect that we'll stay here sometime in the future.
Some reviews are saying it is old and in poor condition, but it costs not much more than a camp ground and I can guarantee that with its private bathroom facilities, the comfort level will be greatly welcomed!

Terrible Terrible!!!
We booked this motel to stay one night during easter break with my wife as was very close to 12 Apostles. We arrived at the motel late afternoon, room was stinky and not properly cleaned. We said no worries and took a shower and start eating dinner then noticed there is a MASSIVE huntsman spider in the corner of the room, was really scary. I managed to take it out of the room. There was a tin of almost empty insect spray in the room. We spray all around the room then all spiders of different sizes started crawling the wall. We couldn't stay in the room as we couldn't kill all spiders and didn't know how many spiders are hidden in the corner of the room. There was a big spider skin off in the corner of the room (see attached photo), i guess that massive spider was living there for a long period of time, which means they never properly cleaned the room. We just packed our stuff and put them in our car and back and sleep all night inside my car. We couldn't sleep as was freezing at night. When the guy came to the motel I told him what happened, i was really angry as couldn't sleep at night and woke up with a headache. He told me he will refund it (they charged us $209 for one night!!!) then he cancelled our booking on booking.com (I think he did to not to write a negative review) Next day he said won't refund fully and took $60 of our money.
What the hell are you doing here!!!!

Ok, If you are someone who enjoy sleeping with spiders, congratulations, you definitely found your lovely place!

This motel is just awful. Overpriced, run down and just awful .The only thing it has going for it is the location 5 minutes from the 12 Apostles. If the owners had an ounce of wisdom this motel could be awesome and really cash in on year round travellers willing to stay ...

Don’t stay here ..

Gorgeous views of rolling green hills dotted with grazing cows. Peace and quiet to be found here whilst staying in these cute cottages with everything you'll need. A warm and welcoming host was icing on the cake. Suggest that guests stock up on food etc before they arrive as little in the way if grocery stores for miles. Great for doggie, who loved exploring the area, and especially Wild Dog Cove was a beautiful little beach for doggie to run amok. Highly recommend, thank you, Felix.

You are asking the wrong person, we were guests.

If the child were under 2 years you can share a queen bed room. With a 5 year old we would like you to book a twin room which has a queen bed and single bed in the same room.

Thank you for your inquiry. 2 adults and 2 children can be accommodated in a 2 bedroom family unit or 2 bedroom self contained cottage. The price varies as to when you require the accommodation from $155 to $200. Hope this helps you.
