We always recall Loch Ard B&B with a chuckle because of the little adventure we had on arrival. Our GPS brought us to the middle of nowhere, so we continued driving along Yaruck Rd. Finally there's a B&B sign in front of a farm gate! We opened the gates (all 3 of them) to find our vehicle stuck in the... More

More of a farm stay. Lovely couple. Very large upstairs rooms with good-sized bathroom. Breakfast was good. It is a working farm so secluded, not in Port Campbell. Lovely views of the sea. Only negative was the cost.

Stay in this beautiful house for two nights with my parents! Win and Don are lovely old couple! The house has a great location, 10mins drive to the main points of interest. The house itself is pretty, really big bedroom with private bathroom. I see many kangaroos, rabbits around the house. We had wonderful experience in Loch Ard B&B! Highly... More

What you get at the Loch Ard B&B is a fine view of the coast across farm fields and parkland, a private suite, and the pleasant company of hosts Win and Don, who are friendly without being obtrusive (always a good combination in B&B hosts). The best, of course, is that it's only a short drive to to the 12... More

We stayed for one night at this amazing bed and breakfast with our 2 kids. We had a ensuite room which was very large and the bathroom was also huge. The room was very nicely done up with lace covers and had electric blankets. On our drive to the house we got to see kangaroos as well. Win welcomed U.S.... More

From first greeting at the front door - to our final wave goodbye, Don and Win offered us wonderful hospitality. Their home is located in a 'one of a kind' position overlooking part of Victoria's coastline near its iconic 12 Apostles were no two days are the same: wake to the distant roaring of the wild surf of Bass Strait... Win and Don were excellent hosts, I cannot commend them enough for the hospitality they showed us. We arrived late around 8pm, but was given a tour of the house and free use of the little pantry on the 2nd floor. Breakfast was simple yet ample enough with eggs, ham and bread with butter and jam. We dined with the... More

I was visiting the Great Ocean Road and was going to overnight near 12 Apostles to catch either sunset or sunrise views. Mere 5 minutes by car that turns inland up to the beautifully kept house perched on rolling hills with a cows farm. Kangaroos run wild and from your bedrooms, you could also see the ocean as the backdrop.... More

What a gorgeous situation! After just a few minutes drive on an unmade track off the main coast road we spied the beautiful farmhouse that we had booked for our second night on the Great Ocean Rd from Adelaide to Melbourne. We could not have had a warmer and more hospitable welcome. The whole of the first floor is guest... More

This B and B was like home from home. Our room was beautiful. Comfortable, spacious, good views, excellent bathroom, useful kitchenette and lounge area. Welcome chocolates in our room were a lovely finishing touch. The accommodation was easy to find and very good for visiting Loch Ard and the 12 Apostles. Win and Don were excellent hosts and made us... More
