The place is such a dreamy cottage, and the views are incredible. It is so so so nice to wake up and see the cows and kangaroos in the early morning. There is also a sea view from the house, which is just gorgeous! It is just really nice to get out of the city and into the country the air just feels fresher, cleaner, and maybe a little bit colder haha. The cottage is so close to the most beautiful lookouts, my personal favourites are the Grotto and Loch Ard Gorge. There are two upstairs rooms which are pretty much identical, and there is an upstairs lounge and kitchenette (microwave, sink, mini fridge, kettle). They even have a few board games to play upstairs like uno, scrabble, chess, and I think Monopoly. Don and Win are such a sweet couple, they have bountiful stories, and are just some of the nicest people you'll meet. It is incredible that they are still working every day at age 80+. If you are out for dinner, there is a small restaurant called "Real" in Port Campbell which is a Pizza, Pasta, and Salad place that is very sustainable, and supports local farmers.

It was comfortable and well maintained and was in great location overlooking the bay & local cafe; It was a short (5-10 minute) drive to the main attractions; The hosts were pleasant and accommodating.

Lovely cosy place in a great location (12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge are 10 minutes away), and beautiful views on paddocks and coast ... and kangaroos wandering on the paddock. So a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Wifi is available, worth noticing when it is not always easy to get connectivity when on the Great Ocean Road. Don and Win are without doubt very welcoming people. Laurent

Very homely place with a great view of the ocean and open fields. The owners are very lovely and kind people. The place gives off a historical cottage and vintage look. Located right next to the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge. Would definitely come back again.

We wanted to have 2 nights near the 12 Apostles, and as we had flown in to Melbourne very early that morning, and needed sleep after 28 hours from the U.K., we arrived at lunchtime. Win was in shock for a moment, (her previous guests had not long departed) but she sat us down in the lounge with a hot drink and the room was ready in under an hour! We were so thankful! This is a lovely B & B, the upstairs is devoted to the 2 bedrooms and the guests lounge. The most amazing view is possible from all windows. Being on a farm, but within 10 minutes travel of the coast is a bonus. We chose it from the Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed! There is a dirt road to the Great Ocean Road, but it is graded well and you can do 15 - 20 miles and hour. When you get up in the morning - the Kangaroos are grazing where the cattle should be! Don loves to talk stock, and he bought a bull when we were there. We found them a most interesting couple to talk to and Lock Ard started our 4 week holiday down under on the right note!! You can easily spend 2 days visiting all the amazing coastal sights from this venue and know that you are returning to utter tranquillity at night. But don't expect 12 Apostles - some have sunk without trace........ The remaining ones will make up for that however. Visit the Mutton Bird island at dusk - you will not forget this scene!

We really enjoyed our two night stay at this farm B&B and have to say it is in a brilliant isolated location, only 10 mins away from the main attractions. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Win, who showed us round and gave us a choice of the two identical bedrooms. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice en-suite. There is a little lounge area and kitchenette for both rooms to share plus milk, tea, coffee and cakes/biscuits provided. What is fantastic about this B&B is not only the hospitality but that you get to see kangaroos at dusk and early morning in the field - it's amazing! I counted 27! We went down to the Twelve Apostles to see the sunset one evening so if you do this, don't forget to ask Win where you can see fairy penguins coming in from the sea going to their burrows - a memorable experience! We enjoyed a cooked breakfast on one day and pancakes and fruit the other and the family Win, Don and their son Caleb joined us. We thoroughly enjoyed our memorable stay here.

We always recall Loch Ard B&B with a chuckle because of the little adventure we had on arrival. Our GPS brought us to the middle of nowhere, so we continued driving along Yaruck Rd. Finally there's a B&B sign in front of a farm gate! We opened the gates (all 3 of them) to find our vehicle stuck in the paddocks, surrounded by bulls. It was disastrous and comical at the same time. Don explained to us that the entrance is a little further down the road (with a much larger sign). We must have missed seeing the little arrow next to the word "B&B" in our excitement. So as a service to future visitors, please remember that the driveway is next to a sign labelled "Loch Ard Bed & Breakfast" instead of "B&B". Or you may use the coordinates: -38.626800, 143.067565 There are 2 guest rooms on the second floor, with a shared lounge area and kitchenette (microwave and kettle). The rooms are well appointed, spacious and comfortable. Our room has a queen size bed and 2 single beds. The window view was unremarkable, but peaceful. Breakfast is served downstairs between 7.30am to 9am. We has bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms. I would have rated the B&B 5 stars if not for the lack of eating places nearby (or cooking facilities). Port Campbell is a 8km drive away, and we didn't fancy driving on the poorly lit farm roads at night, with kangaroos hopping around everywhere.

More of a farm stay. Lovely couple. Very large upstairs rooms with good-sized bathroom. Breakfast was good. It is a working farm so secluded, not in Port Campbell. Lovely views of the sea. Only negative was the cost.

Stay in this beautiful house for two nights with my parents! Win and Don are lovely old couple! The house has a great location, 10mins drive to the main points of interest. The house itself is pretty, really big bedroom with private bathroom. I see many kangaroos, rabbits around the house. We had wonderful experience in Loch Ard B&B! Highly recommend to everyone!
