Port Bayou B&B was just the place for a couple looking for a short getaway in Port Campbell. It was clean and comfortable. It is about 5min walk to the town centre and the swimming beach-no driving required. The continental breakfast hamper was really nice and provided a range of cereals and spreads to choose from. The room could have been better aerated with an additional window..seemed a little stuffy. And bear in mind that it shares a wall with the owners house so you can hear them as well. Overall, the owners were quite friendly and hospitable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a short stay in a basic and cosy place.

This was Fairly basic accommodation. However it is ideal for a short stay whilst exploring the Great Ocean. The beds were comfortable with lovely white sheets and towels. Great shower although bathroom very small. Ideally situated to walk to the pub and shops for meals.

Pictures of the cottage and surroundings looked great on the Internet... Then I got there.. Driveway overgrown with weeds and trees.. The cottage garden not maintained at all.. A bush kept getting caught in the door. Inside was dirty.. The floor looked like it had never seen a mop. Thick dust under tv cabinet and lamp.. Like it was just swept around.. Dust was clearly visible.. Couch stunk like wet dog.. There was a white turned brown dirty towel in the washing machine.. Cobwebs everywhere in the bathroom , bedroom.. Absolutely disgusting place to stay.. I would of rather stayed in a tent, it would have been cleaner.

If you intend to stay here, I highly recommend you buy you groceries in a bigger town, otherwise be prepared to pay top dollar. I just read the existing reviews and agree with them all. Management is not friendly they charge you before you arrive. The cottage at the end of the driveway is just like a granny flat/portable home. It is pokey and offers little privacy. It is really nosy at night and full of cob webs. Finally, you get no view (see photo) if you want a view walk down to bottom of the shopping strip.

A 2 bedroom cottage situated at the rear of a residential property doubling up as an office. It is quiet and the facilities are basic but adequate for a small family or a party of 4. The location is ideal - only a few minutes walk to the foreshore and away from the main tourist area. The cottage is similar to a granny flat. The entrance to the bathroom cum wash area is narrow. A bigger person is likely to find it somewhat restricted. The fire alarm malfunctioned in the night but manager attended to it immediately.

When we arrived we were greeted and the occupant told us the key was in the room, and he charged my credit card. I asked did he need my details and he said no.
Upon arrival we found the cottage was in someone's back yard. It was very un comfortable. That night things were really creepy I had good bumps and we all shared the one room, things were landing on the roof it was so noisey and really creepy.
I would never recommend this place.

Comfortable cottage, spacious and complete with small washing machine, kitchenette, salt and pepper, nothing more i can say.

But.... the cottage is not to strategic for me, it's situated at the end of the driveway and for me it's quite spooky. At night we can cleary hear maybe fox or big squirrel or something ran on the roof. At around 10/11pm. Enough to brings a goosebumps. And my husband can hear a scratching sound...

But overall, nice stay, clean bathroom and bedroom complete with the heat blanket...

The bed and breakfast is good located and close to the centre, the restaurants and the tourist information centre. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. The room is very big and well equipped. Same for the bathroom. Nice breakfast in the morning. If you needed something you only had to ask.

A private cottage that provided the basics. Narrow openings to toilet and shower, and double beds, so lucky we are small people. Old sofa and small TV. Roomy main area with basic kitchen, quiet fridge, and heater.
