I stayed here for 2 nights with my cousins. All in all there were 7 of us travelling. Found out about Cdeck on the Internet and saw the reviews here. It is definitely a great place to chill.

We ventured along the Great Ocean Road to view the 12 Apostles which was closer to Port Campbell, so we made Port Campbell our pit stop. Sue & Evan are gracious owners and ever so friendly. We dined al-fresco on our first night at the deck and had a BBQ on the second night (though some adjustments had to be made because there was a thunderstorm then).

All in all, the 3 bedroom apartment upstairs which I rented really provided the comforts of home with a fully equipped kitchen, beddings & linens. There were board games and books available. All that was actually missing was a dryer (important when there is no sun out and during winter time).

We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this place.

This was definitely the best accommodation of our 10 days trip to Melbourne. Truly stunning 3 bedroom apartment for a ridiculously low price. We were just a couple so 2 of the rooms were locked but we had full use of the huge living room & kitchen. Lovingly decorated with wonderful touches all around the place. Really clean & well maintained too! Huge TV with cable options, & even quite a wide selection of DVDs. It was such a waste we arrived really late & only stayed a night on 10th Feb 16. & the place truly lives up to the name ‘C-Deck’. Super spacious deck/balcony which could easily fit 20 people overlooking the beautiful

Best of all was the lovely couple, Sue & her husband were the best hosts ever. So friendly, warm & helpful. They made us feel so welcomed! Showed us the apartment when we arrived & how to work the TV & cable & even recommended us to go to the Port Campbell Discovery Walk for a morning run on top of the cliffs, which was spectacular!

C-Deck was one of the few accommodations left as we booked our stay in Port Campbell < 1 month before the actual date. It’s crazy why it was still available given how great it was. Truly a hidden gem! Will definitely be back the next time we visit Great Ocean Road.

We found the web site for the C Deck whilst searching for apartment accommodation in Port Douglas and although only two of us, decided to book the lower apartment for a bit of luxury stop whilst travelling the GOR. .
As it happened the owners contacted us before we left the UK to offer us the upper deck at the same price for our one night stay as they had secured a long term booking for the lower deck.
So we were quite looking forward to our stay here after a long drive, but frankly nothing could have prepared us for how good this place is for the money.
The Upper deck is truly wonderful, from the space, to the fitments, the great view from the outside deck and most of all the great Jacuzzi bath.
And like other reviewers, the owners who live next door met us when we arrived and chatted for a while , even though they were in the middle of a dinner party.
And our biggest disappointment…. We only had one night.
If you are going to stay in Port Douglas… stay here..

Booked ourself into Cdeck for 1 night during our trip to Great Ocean Road. The apartment has got 2 levels, the upper deck and the lower deck. As we are family of 4, we decided to reserve the lower floor apartment. The apartment has got 2 huge bedrooms, a dining room, a full kitchen with fullsets of utencils, a cozy leaving area, laundry room and not forgetting the Huge Deck with the beautiful sea view. Host Evan & Sue are extremely friendly & helpful, nice people to chat with. Will surely be back and recommend this Beautiful place to everyone.

Cheers!

Warm stunning comfortable and classy, with everything you could need for your stay. Evan & Sue will certainly make sure that you have everything you need for your stay. This was a great apartment where you can sit and enjoy the sun and 180 degree views of the beach, sea and rural setting.

This are fantastic, well kept, clean, well designed, immaculately furnished Octagonal Beach House Apartments.

What a gem in this pretty little seaside town.
My husband and I stayed at Cdeck for 2 nights whilst traveling The Great Ocean Road in late November (we were very lucky to get perfect weather for a spectacular sunset on the deck). It was by far the best accommodation we stayed at along the coast and haven't stayed at a place like this that ticks so many boxes in a long time.
Evan and Sue, the owners and hosts, greeted us with such kindness on arrival, making us feel very welcome even though we arrived much later than we'd booked in for.
We stayed downstairs. There were 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (little things like gladwrap, oil, salt and pepper) lovely open plan lounge/dining space and a beautiful view of the beach from inside and out on the huge deck. We really couldn't believe our luck at finding this place.
My husband and I are big foodies so we were thrilled to discover the 'food trail' around the local district. Evan was more than happy to give us a map and tell us his local tips. From wineries to distilleries and a couple of cheese making farms with plenty to beautiful cheeses to taste made a perfect Saturday afternoon.
The beds and linen were top quality and the apartment was very clean (with plenty of tissue, I'm not sure the previous review opened the cupboards!)
We would highly recommend staying at Cdeck if you come to Port Campbell. Thank you to Evan and Sue for having us at Cdeck and making the last part of our trip along The Great Ocean Road so special.

Spacious well appointed apartment with full kitchen, huge deck, fantastic view. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Deck was so nice, we ate in. Good value. Note: they only take cash, but there are ATMs very close by.

We arrived at this property in the afternoon and settled into our accommodation on the lower floor. The external stairs that led down to this apartment were rather steep and awkward when you have luggage to carry. We had just settled into the apartment when the sounds of what we thought was hammering and drilling commenced from above in the upstairs apartment. We certainly weren't happy about this noise. My partner went to see what all the commotion was about and the owner of the property didn't appear to be at all interested. He needed to do some repairs to a built in wardrobe and suggested he would only be a short while. Couldn't he have made his repairs in the morning before we arrived. Is it too much to ask for a little peace and quiet that you have paid for.

I also noticed that there were no supply of tissues or loo paper. Come on, if you want people to stay at your property please give them the basic necessities.
We needed to go and purchase these at our own cost.

On the positive side the apartment was clean and tidy and does have a reasonably good view from the front deck and also the bedding was comfortable.

If I ever visit the Port Campbell area again I definitely will not be staying here.

I had been on the Great Ocean Road before and was returning with family from overseas. The 6 of us stayed in this luxurious apartment. We had the upper level one with the big huge lounge, deck with a barbecue and nice view over the sea, bedrooms, bathroom with a spa...
We stayed only one night but wished we could stay longer! The owners came to welcome us, they were so nice and pleasant!

I cannot recommend this place ENOUGH, it is great for groups and families.

"I would suggest that the upper apartment is the only option for older folks or those with disabilities as the stairs that lead to the lower apartment are far too steep, especially if you have luggage. I think the owners of this property should let people know of the entry difficulties to travellers."
