This B & B is located in a quiet, rural setting and offers a superb view over the Wungong reservoir. The large garden is ideal for watching the wide variety of birdlife which inhabits or passes through the area, while the surrounding countryside offers scope for walking. My wife and I just spent two nights and a glorious day around Bedfordale before moving onto Perth. We stayed in the Blue Wren Cottage and it was excellent. Everything was picture perfect and our hosts, Shelley and Mark, made sure that we were comfortable and had whatever we needed. The whole area is wonderful to explore with the entry...

Absolutely beautiful, owner very friendly and we felt very welcome, it was clean and warm, wood fire or aircon. Self contained kitchen, breakfast in fridge and plenty of tea and coffee. All set in a picture perfect location, very quiet. If you are lucky kangaroos on the hills in the morning

The location is special with heaps of birdlife in the trees and around the lake-like dam, kangaroos across the hillside and echidnas along the road....

Mark & Shelley are such kind and accommodating hosts. They went out of their way to make me and my wife feel at home. In this world of profit and efficiency, it is refreshing...

This is a review which I have been meaning to write about for a long time; time passes but that is no excuse; I apologise to all those travellers who might have missed out on the chance to have stayed at such a unique location and with such friendly and welcoming hosts. My husband and I had travelled to Australia...
