We can't recommend this motel highly enough. Over many years we have tried most of the motels in Sale and Traralgon but now only stop here due to its quietness off the highway, comfort and exceptional value for money. Craig is fantastic on reception and made our late check in due to a cancelled flight, so simple.
Rooms are spacious, the beds and linen wonderful and little touches like chocolates and biscuits while a free, quite sumptious continental breakfast in the breakfast room make staying here a real pleasure. Thanks guys... you do a wonderful job.

Stayed here for 3 nights.
It was clean, comfortable & well maintained.
Staff were really friendly and made us feel that nothing was to much trouble.
We had travelled from QLD & had large suitcases. They had us booked in a room up stairs but quickly changed it to a room at street level at our request & didn’t make us feel bad for asking.
Breakfast is included.
I’d highly recommend this place.

Booked via phone while on the road. Arrived just shy of 7pm, greeted by a very lovely man who promptly checked us in. We had a king room. Now I'm a bit over picky when it comes to cleanliness of hotels and motels but I could not fault the standard here. The bed....omg the bed is so comfortable. Complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate and coffee pods. Full size fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and crockery. The decor is beautiful, very modern and very clean. I never take photos of hotels/motels we stay in but I did this one! Leather tub chairs with marble top table in the sitting area were very comfortable. Bathroom is well spaced, clean and very modern. Breakfast is complimentary and available in the dining room however you could take it back to your room if you prefer. The breakfast provisions include cereals, toast, English muffins, Danish assortment, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and more. The prepared muesli and yoghurt was delicious. This motel is well under priced. Highly recommended.

An absolute gem of a motel. Booked this place for just short of a week when my husband travelled to Morwell for a hospital stay. Motel has been freshly renovated with lovely styling. Well equipped room with full sized fridge (perfect when Aldi is next door) microwave, kettle, toaster, nespresso coffee machine (with pods) and much more. Very comfortable beds (and clean, I checked like a weirdo). Continental breakfast was generously displayed to help yourself with all procedures in place for Covid safety. I started with my toddler and the room was setup well to allow her to play safely. No risks for little explorers. Absolutely recommend.

I have stayed here several times and always had the most comfortable bed.
The room is spacious yet cosy.
Great shower and pressure.
Breakfast was very nice and is complimentary.
Rod the onsite manager was very accommodating in my requests for a quiet room , nothing is a problem for him.

Will definately stay here again.

My wife and I stayed with our 13 year old son at the Morwell Motel last Saturday night. The room was clean, modern and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable and we had a quiet night's sleep. The continental breakfast was very good. We had our evening meal at the local bowling club and also enjoyed that experience and can recommend it (4 mins drive away). Overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Morwell.

Had a delightful stay at this motel! Impressed by the meticulous attention to detail—charming furniture, a snug bed, and the thoughtful touch of refillable, high-quality soap and shampoo. The fridge stocked with milk in glass bottle and a neatly packed spare blanket added a homey touch. As a seasoned traveler and motel cleaner, I truly appreciated the cleanliness and tidiness. Kudos to the friendly staff who accommodated an early breakfast so we could hit the road promptly. Many thanks for a wonderful experience!

Of the hundreds of motels that I have stayed in this would have to be in the top ten, but it has a couple of niggling albeit minor issues.

First of all, the room itself is extremely well equipped with a microwave, pod style coffee maker and plenty of glasses, plates and utensils. Packets of biscuits, chocolates and as much fresh milk as you need. The rooms have been nicely modernised with the clever and effective use of corrigated iron sheeting to make them look really smart.

The free included continental breakfast in the breakfast room was a real bonus. There was a good range of serials, toasting breads, croissants, fruit and other tasty things to start the day with.

The two things that could easily be addressed to make this a perfect stay are the wifi and the bathroom. We were in the room furthest from the office and the wifi didn't work even outside our room. An additional router would be a quick fix for this.

The bathroom configuration is for the bathroom itself to contain the toilet and shower cubicle. The shower itself is a good one I might add. The wash basin is outside in the main room which isn't a problem in itself but it means that there is absolutely no bench space in the bathroom for toiletries or clean dry clothes. I think the addition of a generous shelf would address this problem.

But as I said at the outset this is a very fine motel and a credit to the owners/managers. I would definitely stay here again when next I visit Morwell.

When I told my friends and family I was staying in Morwell... they asked me if it was safe. It's interesting how perceptions remain over the years. I found that this motel had good reviews and I felt entirely safe there. It is really easy to locate and it's walking distance to a 24 hour service station which means you have access to everything you will need. Being on a main road you may have concerns about noise, but Morwell has been bypassed by a freeway so noise is not really an issue.

The rooms are well designed and maintained. Clearly they could do with a bathroom upgrade at some point in the future, but the bathroom was fine ... did exactly what it was intended to do. They left a bottle of water and chocolates which I found made an excellent breakfast. ( Hey don't judge me... milk is a dairy product ! :) )

This is an exceptional choice to stay at if you are in the area. It is well priced, good customer service, well maintained, easy to locate, within walking distance of a store AND I got a really good night's sleep here!

We had a recent project to complete in Morwell and chose to stay in Morwell Motel for 5 nights.

The room was clean, tidy and comfortable and was made up each day. The bed linen was fresh and had that "just washed and ironed" smell. Clean towels were supplied daily.

All the staff we met were welcoming, friendly and answered all our questions.

The complimentary breakfast was a good plus to start each day. The breakfast would be classified as basic, but the motel provided a good variety of food to satisfy most tastes.

We would definitely stay at this motel again.
