Stayed for two nights in a two bedroom split level apartment at the rear with friends staying in the adjacent apartment. Had everything we needed and loads of space and we managed to squeeze 9 of us out on the balcony for a BBQ. Good location in town centre with easy access to shops and bars. Small pool and friendly owners.

Location overlooking the mantra grounds is a winner.
Close to everything being on the main road is a bonus.
We choose a 1 bedroom which had a nice sitting room and full kitchen.
Great sun trap and nice balcony with shady umbrella.
Only drawback was the pitiful wifi

Stayed in one of the 2 bedroom townhouses (which is a short drive from the reception office).
The townhouse accommodation is cute and had everything we needed. It was clean and plenty of room for our group. The location is great close to all amenities in Lorne. Staff were lovely and friendly.
The parking is a tight squeeze (as you will share the parking with neighbouring townhouse).

The Anchorage, was a conveniently located motel had some positives and negatives as most places do but the negatives dragged down the score. Little things like no detergent for the dish washer (despite strict instruction about the type to use and a container for the detergent which was empty), unclean shelving in the refrigerator, one small hand towel in the bathroom for a two night stay for two people and a clock/alarm that was not working. The room was large and bright although the bathroom was small with a ditsy hair dryer partly hanging on the wall. Furnishings were somewhat dated and old. Location was a positive. The internet was variable but generally poor and not reliable and a real negative.

Family run, friendly and relaxing place to stay, parking no issues, close to everything, quiet, clean. Plenty of options to suit your budget, ground floor rooms available, so quiet of an evening. Extremely well equipped apartments

Cannot recommend this place. Have been trying for two years at various times of the year to utilise a credit at Anchorage but Wes the Manager is imposing conditions on the booking that were not there at the time of the original booking so we are unable to use. Management seem fine with breaching the terms of the original booking. Not providing any alternate solutions, unresponsive over the phone and via email.
If this is what the customer service is like then I can’t imagine what they are like when they actually have a guest in their accommodation.

Terry and the team at the Anchorage are welcoming. The Motel is spotless clean and the rooms are brilliant too. Location is perfect for the foreshore and close to all the local shops, etc. We had a studio, bright and decorated clean, with a microwave and tea making / fridge. On site pool if you want one. Free parking. Support a local business. A fantastic one-night stay. Thank you (Liam & Jon), woof, to Ziggy!

I have stayed in the Anchorage Apartments before and I found them great so I was hoping that the Hotel would be the same. Unfortunately the room was of poor to average standard. The bed was awful to sleep in. (This was a room for 2 with 2 single beds). The carpet was stained. The bathroom was large with a spa, but the shower was tiny and in the corner. The outside noise was not filtered. You could hear cars coming and going in the carpark which was right at our window. I wouldn't choose to stay here again. If I had a larger group I would go back to the apartments but I wouldn't use the hotel again. I would rather spend more and get a better quality room. On the plus side the bedding was clean and so was the bathroom. The location is also good as you are right near the shops.

Great value for money in central location! Big room, modern facilities and having stand alone shower and spa bath a huge bonus. Park the car and walk to most town attractions. Friendly and accomodating hosts. Great coffee just down the driveway. Will be back for sure!
