Once again after reading so many great reviews about the hotel/apartments we booked a 2 night stay in an apartment and were extremely disappointed. Our first appartment was so filthy dirty (#9) we asked to be moved and the management obliged and moved us. #9's apartment had a seating area which consisted of 3 mattresses and some throw pillows in...

Early 70's - over the Xmas New Year - our band 'Frost' rocked the then named Crawford's Pacific Hotel Lorne. It'd been 45 years since I had been back - but the grand old hotel was as I remembered it. Inspired by a Luxury Escapes package deal - eight of us had decided to relive those early years - a...

What a Grand old hotel. The exterior a powerful whiff of what it meant to travel the Great Ocean Road in style in the days of yore. But this grand old lady seems to have fallen on slightly hard times – still gracious and handsome, but cutting corners…. I can only speak for one apartment which had a pretty peerless...

My daughter and I recently stayed for 2 nights at the historic Grand Pacific Hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable with views over the bay towards Lorne, only a short walk away. All the staff were very friendly, the food was good and very quiet at night. I would recommend staying here for a relaxing quiet getaway

We rented an apartment here and were positively surprised. The apartment was very spacious and with nice view. The apartment had a terrace, but it was covered in Kakadu feces. An apartment was kinda japanese style and it had pretty much everything we needed and more.

An overnight stay at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Lorne was linked to the biennial Sculpture Exhibition and proved a perfect place to be. The Hotel is an icon on the headland with the best view of Lorne -our room was a deluxe double and although a little small, the bathroom was entirely updated and new- fluffy towels and toiletries...

I was going down the great ocean rd with my partner and we decided to stop here for the night at the last minute. The lady at the front desk was fantastic, very warm and friendly and gave us the room at basically half the price we'd seen advertised. The room itself was tiny but i think that was the...

Hotel is beautifully situated on the Great Ocean Road overlooking the sea. It is in dire need of a general upgrade. Building and grounds look neglected. Our apartment had been painted but there was evidence of timber rot. No keys were available to outside patio and there was a constant annoying fan noise from a compressor. TV would not work...

Booked a room for a girls weekend through a package weekend special and did not expect to have such a great room with a window and on the balcony. Beds were really comfortable with a great sized room. This hotel has so much character and atmosphere, sure it may need repainting in some spots but overall it was very clean...

Value for money but this hotel could offer so much more if it were modernised. It was basically clean but badly in need of a paint job. There was no lift but no problem for everyone but the old and infirm. A little more attention to cleaning in the general areas would have helped.
