This is an old hotel and was the supreme stay over 1oo years ago. It was a Luxury Scape deal worth originally over $700 and the deal was $350. Food in the restaurant was good, service slow, to the extent after 15mons waiting to be served, my wife went to find someone. The rooms are worth $120 a night, worse...

I suppose staying in room 13 on Friday the 13th could be seen as predestined for an interesting experience but for a hotel that calls itself the Grand Pacific the room rather resembled a shoebox. The squeezed in bed is just about big enough for 2 (don't expect to turn over at night) but don't bring any luggage, there is...

We had a small room however it had a view of the water which was great. The bathroom was also very tiny. The main disadvantage was the fact that on a warm night, there was no flyscreen. No issues for me however I did not see an elevator - so, most probably not the best if one is unable to...

The hotel is situated on the Great Ocean Road, overlooking Lorne Pier with views across the small port and out into the expanse of Bass Straight, Beautiful! The hotel a beautiful original and imposing building that has been renovated with great outdoor area for drinks or a meal, a well equiped bar and restaurant serving very good meals at reasonable...

We had a short family break in Lorne. We booked through luxury escapes and were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment. Asthis was a special deal we were given a voucher for part of a meal, a free Devonshire tea, a bottle of champagne, welcome drinks and some vouchers for shops,in town. The view from the apartment was gorgeous. The...

We stayed one night on our way down the Great Ocean Road. Our room was very small but very clean and comfortable. The staff are super friendly and the restaurant was good for dinner. The surf and turf and the parma were delicious! Very reasonably priced and we got a great sleep ready for more driving!

A beautiful old hotel in a fabulous location in need of some tender loving care. Absence of a lift makes access difficult. the room and ensuite were very small and lacking privacy. The common areas on the balcony need repairs, cleaning and maintenance. A beautiful place to stay but the issues mentioned detract from the good points. A little expensive considering...

Great hotel on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Full of history and very friendly helpful staff. Particularly liked the outside balconies of the hotel itself. Stayed in the main hotel in a room that was so small you could hardly walk around the bed. No wonder everything in the room was attached to the walls at waist height. The bathroom...

Despite the outside facade of old world charm, time has been less than kind here. If you are into tired old buildings that creak and groan with every step you take, and like to hear the movements, speech and bodily functions of those around you, then this is the place. As I was travelling on business, and the room was...

My wife and I travelled to Lorne as we wanted a mid week break from our busy working lives . The moment we walked into this grand hotel we were greeted with a smile from the reception team. We had been upgraded to a spa room which was so nice. The room looked out over the balcony to the ocean...
