Spent a lovely couple of days here and already want to go back. Cosy little cottage with a loft room for the kids. Beautiful setting among the trees with birds in constant attendance. Comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. Comfortable walking distance to shops and beach. Just perfect! Would love to have stayed longer.

Today's tour accommodated current road slippage and detours by incorporating additional venues and picture opportunities. Roger, Coach 32 for AATKings provided us with a varied and interesting day notwithstanding depart times were liberally interpreted by some travellers throwing our projected timetable out of kilter.Overall, some breathtaking natural features. I was not disappointed that there are no longer 12 stacks of... More

First off - shout out to Sarah from reception who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful! Some of the best service I have ever had. Thankyou Sarah! The cottages are gorgeous tucked away in the trees. It was the middle of winter but our cottage was warm and cosy. It's clean and they have everything... More

Very delightful cottage, spacious, with views through the forest to the town centre and ocean from downstairs and upstairs. The highlight was the bird life that comes up to the balcony, especially the sulphur crested cockatoos which are so friendly, and the kookaburras. Even though it was very wet and windy for the days that we were there, it didn't... More

Magical little place - second visit just as lovely as the first. Had to shorten our stay due to work commitments (no problem)then cheekily asked for late checkout (also no problem)- A/C noisy so moved+given chocolates-Hosts very accommodating+apologetic Superb bush setting and you can hear the waves whilst listening to the cockatoos.

We stayed in a four person cottage. We were lucky enough to get number 1 which is right next to reception and the closest to the driveway. It was handy as it meant we had 2 car places instead of one and it was easy to get in and out to take the boards etc to the beach. The cottages... More

Exterior is very appealing, with beautiful bushes and is within walking distance to eateries and a supermarket. We enjoyed the stroll just nearby, crossing two little wooden bridges and watching the ducks swimming underneath. Lorne is a comfortable first stop for us since we had a overnight flight from Singapore. We even had time to visit the nearby attractions- Teddy... More

The self-contained cottages are awesome. Comfortable beds, I dozed off to the sound of boobook and woke up on the first morning thinking it was about 7am, it was 9am. Clean and comfortable with cooking facilities, small but functional bathroom TV and guest laundry. I could have stayed a lot longer. Friendly, helpful staff and a good price. A great... More
