The cottages are short of 5 mins walk to Lorne’s township, yet it seem a world away as it nestle amongst gumtrees and sits perched higher up the hill.

Came down for a friends wedding, stayed in the dorm. Found the beds to be clean with extra sheets and blankets if you need them. Shower near the dorm was one of the older ones that are awesome with lots of power.

There is a basic kitchen with sink and bench area with small fridge ( in 2 units I saw) a kettle, microwave and toaster. It's quite basic but adequate if you want to make breakfast yourself ( tea, toast, muesli etc. Also fine for making sandwiches and basic lunch - perhaps a bit of a stretch for dinner, but there are plenty of cafes and places to eat within walking distance and a supermarket about a 100 metre walk.
Hope that helps!
